Abstract Im literarischen Schaffen von Helmut Krausser spielt Musik aller Art eine besondere Rolle. In seinem Roman Alles ist gut (2015) ist sie Darstellungsgegenstand, poetisches Vorbild, mediale Rivalin und letztlich Geburtshelferin der Literatur. Der Roman entsteht aus der Auseinandersetzung mit den poetischen, strukturellen und wirkungsästhetischen Möglichkeiten der Nachbarkunst und fügt überbietend seine eigenen Möglichkeiten hinzu (Satire, Ironie, Polemik, Selbstreflexivität, Diskursivität).Music of all kinds has a special significance for the literary work of Helmut Krausser. In his novel Alles ist gut (2015), music is subject of depiction, poetic model, media rival, and ultimately the birthplace of literature. The novel arises from the reflection of the poetic, structural, and aesthetic possibilities of music and adds its own possibilities (satire, irony, polemics, self-reflection, discursivity) in an outdoing manner.

Der Beitrag untersucht das Libretto des Wiegenlieds "Schlummert ein, ihr matten Augen" aus BWV 82 und eine einige Jahre zuvor veröffentlichte Kantatentextdichtung. Er bietet einen Überblick über Leben und Wirken Gottfried Ephraim Scheibels, des Verfassers dieser älteren Dichtung, insbesondere hinsichtlich seiner Rolle in der Kontroverse um die sogenannte Reformkantate , und schließt mit der Frage, in welchem Umfang die Schriften dieses Autors in Bachs Leipziger Umfeld bekannt gewesen sein dürften.

Der Artikel diskutiert die widersprüchlichen Standpunkte zur Einführung der madrigalischen Kantate in die Kirchenmusik. Dabei dient besonders Wolfram Steudes These, nicht wie bisher Erdmann Neumeister, sondern Constantin Christian Dedekind als Erfinder dieser Form anzunehmen, als Anstoß einiger grundsätzlicher Überlegungen. Diese widmen sich dem Rezitativvers und seiner Entwicklung, Neumeisters Urteil über Dedekind, Bestimmung und Form der Kantate im theatralischen Stil und dem Verhältnis Bachs zu Neumeisters madrigalischer Kantate.

Climate change induced sea-level rise (SLR) is on its increase globally. Regionally the lowlands of China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and islands of the Malaysian, Indonesian and Philippine archipelagos are among the world’s most threatened regions. Sea-level rise has major impacts on the ecosystems and society. It threatens coastal populations, economic activities, and fragile ecosystems as mangroves, coastal salt-marches and wetlands. This paper provides a summary of the current state of knowledge of sea level-rise and its effects on both human and natural ecosystems. The focus is on coastal urban areas and low lying deltas in South-East Asia and Vietnam, as one of the most threatened areas in the world. About 3 mm per year reflects the growing consensus on the average SLR worldwide. The trend speeds up during recent decades. The figures are subject to local, temporal and methodological variation. In Vietnam the average values of 3.3 mm per year during the 1993-2014 period are above the worldwide average. Although a basic conceptual understanding exists that the increasing global frequency of the strongest tropical cyclones is related with the increasing temperature and SLR, this relationship is insufficiently understood. Moreover the precise, complex environmental, economic, social, and health impacts are currently unclear. SLR, storms and changing precipitation patterns increase flood risks, in particular in urban areas. Part of the current scientific debate is on how urban agglomeration can be made more resilient to flood risks. Where originally mainly technical interventions dominated this discussion, it becomes increasingly clear that proactive special planning, flood defense, flood risk mitigation, flood preparation, and flood recovery are important, but costly instruments. Next to the main focus on SLR and its effects on resilience, the paper reviews main SLR associated impacts: Floods and inundation, salinization, shoreline change, and effects on mangroves and wetlands. The hazards of SLR related floods increase fastest in urban areas. This is related with both the increasing surface major cities are expected to occupy during the decades to come and the increasing coastal population. In particular Asia and its megacities in the southern part of the continent are increasingly at risk. The discussion points to complexity, inter-disciplinarity, and the related uncertainty, as core characteristics. Questo lavoro è volto a far conoscere l'opera dello scrittore H. Krausser "Einsamkeit und Sex und Mitleid" e il genere Pulp. Ho voluto approfondire alcune caratteristiche di questo genere perché è ancora poco conosciuto, dato che questa corrente letteraria è nata soltanto negli anni Novanta. Nella prima parte dell'elaborato ho inserito una breve presentazione del genere per spiegare l'origine del termine pulp e descrivere le caratteristiche principali che lo definiscono. In modo particolare mi sono concentrato sulla sua diffusione in Italia attraverso la corrente dei cannibali, indicandone i principali esponenti. Successivamente ho presentato l'autore Helmut Krausser che, attraverso un accurato lavoro letterario, è stato in grado di mettere insieme un mosaico di personaggi sparsi per la metropoli di Berlino. Julia König è una donna ambiziosa ed esigente, Vincent è un gigolò rinomato, Ekki un ex professore ridotto alla miseria, Swentja una giovane ragazza contesa tra due giovani e incapace di badare a sua sorella. Questi sono solo alcuni dei personaggi presenti nell'opera. Questo libro risultava interessante sul piano traduttivo poiché gli spunti da analizzare erano molteplici e, a mio avviso, intriganti. Visto l'ampio numero di personaggi, l'opera di H. Krausser è incentrata sul dialogo. Si tratta di una tipologia testuale che all'apparenza potrebbe sembrare semplice e lineare, ma in realtà può rivelarsi insidiosa per la traduzione. Infatti, non è semplice restituire la stessa spontaneità del testo di partenza e trasmettere in maniera fedele il registro tipico dell'oralità. Ho ritenuto opportuno analizzare questo genere letterario per le peculiarità che lo contraddistinguono dagli altri. Con i suoi toni crudi, violenti e talvolta anche cinici il pulp offre immagini di realtà drammatiche che producono un forte impatto emotivo sul lettore grazie a uno stile diretto, privo dei filtri della moralità e del pudore.

La musique est art du temps, puisque celui-ci lui donne sa matière. Elle le stylise et recrée les effets de son déroulement circonscrits dans une durée close. Pourtant, les représentations associent fréquemment l’art des sons à une tentative d’oubli voire de négation de l’écoulement temporel. Elles s’inscrivent alors dans une perspective idéaliste qui fait de la musique une utopie consolante, un baume apaisant sur un sujet en proie aux déchirements intérieurs et à la rupture avec le monde – ainsi que l’on peut le lire chez Schopenhauer et Proust à sa suite ou, plus tard, chez Lévi-Strauss. Cette étude a pour but d’examiner le devenir de cette conception du temps musical à l’aune de trois romans contemporains qui semblent l’illustrer mais aussi la mettre en procès : Melodien, de l’allemand Helmut Krausser (1993), Prajs, du russe Léonid Guirchovitch (1998), et The Time of Our Singing, de l’américain Richard Powers (2003). Certains éléments du langage musical, reposant essentiellement sur les principes de polyphonie et d’organicité, dessinent ainsi les contours d’un modèle esthétique (nommé ici « idéal éternitaire ») que ces trois auteurs, marqués par la tentation « compositionnelle », mettent à l’épreuve des transpositions intersémiotiques. L’analyse se porte ensuite sur ce que Paul Ricœur définit comme l’« expérience temporelle fictive », afin de voir comment le rêve d’abolition du temps associé à un sujet musical affecte à la fois le temps intime des personnages et les vastes chronosophies du temps collectif. L’idéal éternitaire, enfin, est à son tour plongé dans le temps : discrédité par les faillites historiques du XXe siècle, il se pense désormais à l’heure postmoderne, sommé de désigner ironiquement sa part anachronique et de confronter la Kultur germanique dont il est issu à la diversité des modèles musicaux<br>Music is an art of time, since it gives it its matter. It gives it style and recreates the effects of its process confined in a closed period. However, representations commonly associate the art of sound with an attempt to neglect or even to deny the temporal flow. Accordingly, they fit into an idealistic perspective that makes music a consoling utopia, a soothing balm on a subject beset by internal rifts and rupture with the world – as can be seen in Schopenhauer and Proust after him or, later, in Levi-Strauss. This study aims to examine the future of this conception of musical time in the light of three contemporary novels that seem to illustrate it but also challenge it: Melodien (1993), by the German writer Helmut Krausser, Prajs (1998), the work of Leonid Guirchovitch, a Russian writer, and The Time of Our Singing (2003), by the American novelist Richard Powers (2003). Some elements of the musical language, based primarily on the principles of polyphony and organicity, delineate an aesthetic model (here called “ideal éternitaire”) that these three authors, marked by “compositional” temptation, challenge through intersemiotic transpositions. The analysis then turns into what Paul Ricœur defines as the “fictive temporal experience” to see how the dream of abolishing time associated with a musical subject affects both the intimate time of characters and vast chronosophies of the collective time. Finally the “ideal éternitaire” is in turn immersed in time: discredited by the historical bankruptcies of the twentieth century, it now looks upon itself in the light of postmodern times, ironically bound to refer to its anachronistic share and to confront the German Kultur it comes from with the diversity of musical styles

The Weimar Constitution marked Germany’s first sortie into democracy, with the Republic intended to be democratic, humane and constitutional and based on the principle of popular sovereignty. However, its election system of proportional representation favoured small parties and impeded the formation of a government, with its final governments being presidential cabinets. Constitutions are often analysed by various academic fields. While philosophy and historiography set the framework for this analysis, constitutional law may be regarded as the principal discipline in this regard. The social sciences are first and foremost concerned with constitutional reality, and there is indeed strong evidence that it was the Weimar Republic’s lack of socio-economic foundations that ultimately caused its demise. This volume is divided into twelve parts (perspectives) and will appeal to readers interested in politics, law, (contemporary) history, sociology and philosophy.
