Abstract:
Danalite is the Fe2+ end-member of the minerals of the helvite group, which have the general formula M8(BeSiO4)6S2, with M = (Mn,Fe2+,Zn). These minerals are relatively uncommon, although limited amounts are known at many localities round the world (e.g. Ragu, 1994; Larsen, 1988; Kwak and Jackson, 1986, and references therein). Their typical host rocks are skams, but occurrences in mineralized veins pegmatites, and altered alkali granites have also been reported. Danalite is rarer than helvite (Mn endmember) and genthelvite (Zn end-member) and, unlike the other two end-members, has never been found nor synthesized as a pure mineral (Mel'nikov et al., 1968).

Abstract:
Beryllium is a chemical element composition of the Group 2 of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. It does not crystallize as a natural solid and exhibits a crustal abundance of 2.8 ppm. It is a chemical element among the trace elements with low representativity, together with erbinm and bromine. It shows a big chemical reactivity, and a low abundance in the chemical composition of minerals (only 96 minerals have beryllium in their chemical compositions). The principal beryllium-bearing minerals for industrial usages are beryl and bertrandite, and secondary sources are helvite, chrysoberyl, euclase, beryllonite, and phenakite. This review presents a synopsis of the beryllium-bearing minerals as a contribution to the scientific knowledge of these substances.

Abstract: Following his relegation to Corsica in ad 42, Seneca the Younger wrote the ad Helviam, a consolatory letter ostensibly offering his mother Helvia comfort and support in the face of his deathlike absence through exile. The addressees of Seneca's letters served different purposes for him, and here, because he is addressing his mother, who birthed him, Seneca creates within the ad Helviam a space for rebirth, a means of reviving and repairing a self left shattered by the trauma of exile. Reading Seneca's consolation through the lens of psychoanalyst Heinz Kohut's theory of the ‘tripolar self’, I suggest that in this letter Seneca satisfies his needs for mirroring, for an idealized other, and for twinship, which are requisite for his self-recreation. Through this process, Seneca also provides Helvia with the tools she needs to recreate her own self after the ‘loss’ of Seneca; both son and mother are thus reborn.

Les massifs granitiques du proterozoique moyen dans la sous-province parana sont constitues par deux ensembles de granites, denommees g1 et g2, en general deformes et recristallises. Les granites g1 sont les plus anciens, subalcalins et presentent un rapport mgo/tio2 inferieur a 1, avec des teneurs plus elevees en k, fe, p, ba, zr, nb, th et ree. Les granites g2 presentent un rapport mgo/tio2 superieur a 1, sont metalumineux a peralumineux avec un rapport k/na inferieur a celui de g1 et montrent des teneurs plus elevees en li, rb, sn et ta. Malgre les differences significatives etablies entre g1 et g2, ils sont tres riches en fe, k, ree, zr, th, rb, y, nb, ga et sn. Le granite a albite et topaze du massif de mangabeira pourrait etre correle aux deux ensembles granitiques, l'augmentation importante en aluminium etant expliquee par les concentrations tres elevees du fluor dans ces roches. Les apatites dans les deux groupes sont riches en terres rares legeres (lree) et yttrium, avec un rapport lree/y inferieur a 1 dans les apatites g1 et superieur a 1 dans les apatites g2. Les teneurs atteignent 12% de lree+y dans des apatites g1 zonees. L'ensemble des micas metasomatiques de ces granites et des greisens associes presentent un rapport f/li exceptionnellement eleve par rapport a celui des micas lithiniferes connus. L'helvite apparait dans le massif de mangabeira dans une rare association avec la topaze. Le massif de mangabeira presente des concentrations d'indium importantes, jusqu'a 0,10% in dans roche totale, dans des greisens a quartz et topaze. L'association cassiterite-sulfures et ses derives oxydes presentent une sphalerite a 5-11% de in et des mineraux comme la roquesite, la dzhalindite et l'yanomamite (inaso4. 2h20), espece nouvelle

Abstract:
The goal in doing this study has been studying public interpretations of media content in the commercials that this study uses. The analysis was based on two TV commercials for feminine hygiene products. Initially, they seemed to differ from each other, but soon the question whether or not they in fact did convey the same underlying message was raised. The theoretical premises on which the study was founded on are the gender perspective in advertising and the social construction of gender. To reveal the hidden signs appearing in these commercials and to find out their meanings, we used the method of semiotic analysis. To further find out how the audience interpreted the films and their possible messages, we performed qualitative interviews, followed by a reception analysis of these. The result we reached using the latter method is not unambiguous, but we were able to highlight the differences as well as to what degree personal interpretation influences people.

Abstract:

Aim:               

Our aim is to make a critical review of the glorification of leadership, by describing the practical work of leaders, compared to what is written in management literature.   

 

Method:         

We have applied a qualitative approach in our study and implemented seven interviews to illustrate our respondents’ experiences and opinions. All of our respondents have leading positions with their current companies. To analyse the results from our interviews, we have compared them with literature written in the subject, mostly management literature.

                   

Results & Conclusions: 

We have concluded that there is a connection between the theory and our empirical material. The theory is though far more simplified than the real world. To manage difficulties as a leader you have to adjust the problem to the situation, you have to be direct and communicate the problem to your staff in order to handle the problem in a good way. 

 

Contribution of the thesis: 

The contribution of our thesis is that our study shows the practical leadership and how leaders actually manage difficult situations, compared to how they are described in the management literature.    


Syfte:             

Syftet med denna uppsats är att göra en kritisk granskning av ledarskapets glorifiering. Vi vill beskriva ledarskap i praktiken och jämföra det med den teori man möter i litteraturen.             

 

Metod:           

 Vår undersökning, tolkning och analys är gjord efter den hermeneutiska kunskapssynen. Vidare har vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats i vår uppsats. Det innebär att vi har genomfört sju intervjuer, med företagsledare i olika positioner, där vi tagit reda på våra respondenters erfarenheter och åsikter i ämnet. Vid analysen av våra resultat har vi jämfört utfallet i våra intervjuer med ledarskapslitteraturen, genom att göra en kritisk granskning.

 

Resultat & Slutsats:         

Vi har kommit fram till att det finns ett visst samband mellan teori och empiri. Vi finner dock, med våra respondenter som stöd, att ledarskapslitteraturen är alltför förenklad. Verkliga situationer och motgångar är mycket mer komplexa än vad som kan beskrivas i en bok. Det krävs framförallt situationsanpassning, tydlighet och kommunikation från ledarnas sida för att de skall kunna hantera svåra situationer på bästa sätt. Den största nackdelen med att arbeta som ledare/chef är att det är ensamt på toppen.

 

Uppsatsens bidrag:         

Vi anser att uppsatsen har bidragit med att förklara och ge goda exempel på praktiska situationer som beskriver hur ledare och chefer faktiskt hanterar sitt ledarskap, framförallt i svåra tider. Det är användbart för såväl framtidens nyutexaminerade ledare som för de ledare som strikt följer regelboken.

Mellan rusets himmel och abstinensens helvete – En kvalitativ studie om kvinnor som injicerar heroin. Examensarbete i socialt arbete/30 högskolepoäng. Malmö högskola: Fakulteten för hälsa och samhälle, institutionen för Socialt arbete, 2016.Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur kvinnor som injicerar heroin upplever sin livssituation och sitt handlingsutrymme. Ett centralt tema berör drogens betydelse i deras liv samt vilka möjligheter kvinnorna ansåg sig ha att förändra sin droganvändning och livssituation i stort.Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie och empirin har inhämtats med hjälp av semi-strukturerade intervjuer med åtta kvinnor som injicerar heroin. Kvinnorna rekryterades via sprutbytesmottagningen i Malmö, där de är regelbundna besökare.Slutsatserna var att kvinnorna tillhör en mycket utsatt och marginaliserad grupp. Våld, sexuella övergrepp, hemlöshet, kriminalitet och prostitution fyller kvinnornas vardagsliv. Heroinets effekt beskrevs som avgörande när kvinnorna började använda heroin, till stor del på grund av sitt dåliga mående medan de i nuläget jagar pengar och heroin främst för att undvika abstinenssymtom. Kvinnorna har i flera omgångar varit i behandling i såväl medicinsk- som psykosocial form. Sju av åtta kvinnor är ointresserade av de vård- och behandlingsinsatser som är tillgängliga i dagsläget. Deras behov av skadebegränsande insatser är stort och sprutbytet framkommer som en mycket viktig insats för målgruppen.
Between the heaven of highs and the hell of withdrawal – A qualitative study of women who inject heroin. Degree in Social Work/30 credits. Malmö University: Faculty of Health and Society, Department of Social Work, in 2016.The purpose with the study was to investigate how women who inject heroin are experiencing their life situation and their action space. A central theme involves the drug´s importences in their lives and what possibilities the women felt they had to change their use of drugs and their situation in the whole.The thesis is a qualtitative study and the empirical evidence has been collected by semi-structured intervjues of eight women who inject heroin. The women were recruited at the reception of needle and syringes exange in Malmoe, where they are regular visitors. The conclusions were that the women belong to a high risk and marginalizad group. Violence, sexual assaults, homelessness, criminality and prostitution fill the everyday-life of the women. The effect of the heroin is being described as crusial when the women started using heroin, largely because they felt bad but now they are chasing money and heroin mainly to avoid symptoms of abstinence. The women have several times been in treatment, both medical and physical. Seven out of eight women are not interested in the care actions or the treatment actions offered today. Their needs of limitations of injuries is high and the exchange of syrings are revealed as very important actions for the target group. Abstract:
Den negativa attityden kring palmolja har uppkommit för att industrin ur ett hållbarhetsperspektiv brister i sociala, ekonomiska och ekologiska aspekter. Produktionen finns i utvecklingsländerna, främst i Malaysia och Indonesien. Intresset för palmolja har ökat i Liberia, som tillsammans med Sverige är studieländer i den här undersökningen. Industrin har en stor miljöpåverkan, det förekommer dåliga arbetsförhållanden med låga löner och brist på rättigheter. Palmoljeindustrin har samtidigt i utvecklingsländerna gett möjlighet till ökad välfärd, då industrin är det som primärt ger inkomst för lokalbefolkningen.Studiens resultat visar att en uteslutning av palmolja i produkter inte är en lösning på problemet. En möjlig lösning till problemet är istället att samarbeta och jobba för hållbar odling av palmolja.
The negative attitude towards palm oil has arisen because of the sustainability of industry in social, economic and ecological aspects. Production is in developing countries, mainly in Malaysia and Indonesia. The interest in palm oil has increased in Liberia, which together with Sweden are study countries in this survey. The industry has a major environmental impact, there are poor working conditions with low wages and lack of rights. At the same time, in the developing countries, the palm oil industry has provided an opportunity for increased welfare, as the industry is the primary source of income for the local population.The study results show that an exclusion of palm oil in products is not a solution to the problem. A possible solution to the problem is instead to cooperate and work for sustainable cultivation of palm oil.

Abstract:
Syftet med uppsatsen var att genom en komparativ analys se vilka författare och verk som var gemensamma för två läromedel i Svenska 2. Uppsatsen skulle också undersöka vilka uppgifter som fanns till de gemensamma textutdragen samt om det fanns likheter och skillnader kring dess innehåll. För att uppnå studiens syfte användes både kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod. Förutom kvantitativ litteraturforskning och komparativ metod användes också kvantitativ och kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Undersökningen visade att det fanns gemensamma textutdrag i läromedlen Svenska Impulser 2 och Metafor 2 även om det är få som är gemensamma, vilket kan tyda på att det finns ett gemensamt stoff som läromedelsförfattare utgår från när de producerar läromedel. Studien pekade dock på att om antologitexter och lästips från läromedlen hade presenterats kunde de gemensamma antalet texter blivit fler. Vilka uppgifterna som presenterades i de båda läromedlen var lika även om de inte kallades för samma sak. Det saknades dock taluppgifter i Metafor 2. Det visade sig också att det fanns både likheter och skillnader mellan uppgifterna i läromedlen samt att uppgifter som inte är till samma verk ändå kan ha samma syfte och relateras till samma del i styrdokumenten. Det visade sig dessutom att de tre kapitlen som undersöktes stöds i styrdokumenten gällande de krav som finns för utformningen av litteraturhistoria. Dock visade studien också att uppgifterna relaterar till övriga centrala innehåll för kursen Svenska 2 samt svenskämnets syfte. För att göra studien mer trovärdig krävdes det bilagor som utgjorde en del av resultatet. Dessa bidrog till att ingen uppgift behövde utelämnas och innebär att den som läser studien kan se alla uppgifter i sin helhet utan att ha tillgång till läromedlen.

Introduktion: Bipolär sjukdom har ökat de senaste 20 åren. Av alla psykiatriska sjukdomar är bipolär sjukdom den som har högst suicidfrekvens. Upp till 50 % av alla patienter med bipolär sjukdom kommer någon gång under sin livstid att försöka ta sitt liv. Bakgrund: Bipolär sjukdom är en allvarlig kronisk psykisk sjukdom som karaktäriseras av omväxlande episoder av mani, hypomani och depression. Det finns utlösande faktorer som kan trigga igång sjukdomsepisoder. Närstående har en betydelsefull roll för patientens tillfrisknande. Närstående kan vara både till hjälp och ibland ett hinder i sjuksköterskans arbete. Samtidigt behöver närstående få en bättre förståelse för patientens tillstånd. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa patientens upplevelse av att leva med bipolär sjukdom. Metod: Litteraturstudiens metod var utformad med induktiv ansats enligt Polit och Becks (2017) nio-steg. Efter kvalitetsgranskning med hjälp av Polit och Becks (2017) granskningsmall Guide to an Overall Critique of a Qualitative Reasearch genererades sju vetenskapliga kvalitativa artiklar, vilka utgör litteraturstudiens resultat. Resultat: Resultatet resulterade i fyra teman: Från förvirring till acceptans, Att behöva läkemedel – på gott och ont, Att inte få stöd av vården och Att känna sig annorlunda. Slutsats: Patienter behöver utökad information om sjukdomen vid diagnosticeringen. Patienter behöver mer stöd från vården i form av samtal, det behöver därför sättas in mer åtgärder och inte enbart medicinera patienterna.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka elevers upplevelser av förekomsten avmobbning i skolan. Eftersom vi studerar till idrottslärare är därför ett delsyfte attundersöka elevers upplevelser av förekomsten av mobbning i omklädningsrumföre och efter en idrottslektion. Utöver detta undersöktes även skillnader mellanpojkar och flickors upplevelser av förekomsten av mobbning och kränkningarsamt elevers upplevelser om lärare agerade för att förebygga, åtgärda ochmotverka mobbning. Studien grundade sig på en enkätundersökning somgenomfördes på tre högstadieskolor där 221 elever i årskurs nio deltog varav 124var pojkar och 97 var flickor. Resultatet av studien visade att 7 % av elevernaupplevde sig vara utsatta för mobbning i omklädningsrummet och 7 % aveleverna upplevde sig vara utsatta för mobbning i andra situationer i skolan.Pojkar upplevde sig oftare vara utsatta och utsätta andra elever för fysiskakränkningar och mobbning än flickor, medan flickor upplevde sig oftare varautsatta för social mobbning än pojkar. Hälften av respondenterna i studien ansågatt det förekom mobbning i stort sett alltid eller ibland på deras skola medanhälften menade att mobbning förekom sällan eller aldrig på deras skola.Resultatet visade även att ungefär hälften av respondenterna ansåg att lärarna påskolorna i stort sett alltid eller ibland agerade mot mobbning och ungefär likamånga ansåg att lärarna aldrig eller sällan agerade mot mobbning.

Publius Helvius Pertinax, qui n'a régné que quatre-vingt-sept jours en 193 après J. -C. , est un personnage mal connu de l'Histoire romaine. L'objectif de cette recherche est de répertorier toutes les sources disponibles, afin d'établir une synthèse sur la vie et le gouvernement de l'éphémère empereur. Textes littéraires, inscriptions, codes juridiques, bustes, bijoux ont été recensés, ainsi qu’un peu plus de deux mille cents monnaies. Cette documentation permet de dresser un tableau de l’Empire romain durant la deuxième moitié du IIè siècle après J. -C. , et d'analyser la carrière de Pertinax, fils d'affranchi qui parvint à devenir empereur après l’assassinat de Commode. Riches d'informations, ces sources sont en revanche plus délicates à interpréter pour connaître la personnalité de Pertinax : cynique et aimant l'argent selon les unes, grand humaniste lâchement trahi selon les autres, nous n'avons en définitive que peu de certitudes sur « l'homme » Pertinax et sur sa famille. La numismatique a été particulièrement traitée dans notre recherche ; l'étude des légendes et des différents types monétaires révèle en effet une partie de la pensée politique du Prince. De plus, des catalogues des monnaies et des classements par liaisons de coins ont été établis pour les quatre ateliers -Rome, Alexandrie, Tomis et Prusa ad Olympum- ayant fonctionné au début de 193. Ces données nouvellement exploitées permettent d'approfondir la politique monétaire de Pertinax, et également de mieux connaître l'organisation des ateliers monétaires, notamment celui de Rome. Le recoupement de ces sources variées nous permet ainsi de compléter le portrait général de cet empereur et de son règne éphémère
Publius Helvius Pertinax, who only reigned for eighty-seven days in 193 AD, is not a well-known figure in the Roman History. This research aims at listing all the available sources, in order to draw up a synthesis of this short-lived emperor’s life and short-lived government. Literary texts, inscriptions, legal codes, busts, jewels have been listed, as well as a little more than two thousand one hundred coins. These documents enable us to draw a picture of the Roman Empire during the second half of the second Century A. D. And to analyse the carrier of Pertinax, son of a freedman who became an emperor after Commodus’ murder. Although full of information, these sources are more difficult to interpret as regards as Pertinax’s personality : cynical and loving money for some of them, a great humanist cowardly betrayed for others, we have in fact few certainties on the man Pertinax and on his family. In our research, we have mainly dealt with numismatics. The study of the legends and of the different types actually reveals some of the Prince’s political thinking. Moreover, catalogues of money and die links classification have been established for the four mints (Roma, Alexandria, Tomis and Prusa Ad Olympum) operating in the early 193. These recently exploited facts enabled us to go deeper into Pertinax’s monetary policy, as well as to know more about the organization of the mints, especially the one of Roma. The cross-checking of these various sources enables us to complete the general picture of this emperor and of this short reign

HELVIS (Hybrid Electric Vehicle In Low Scale) is a mini-HEV platform used on the research of HEVs (Hybrid Electric Vehicles), through which students of all degrees have the opportunity to be introduced to the universe that surrounds HEVs in many aspects. In this work the HELVIS-Sim is presented. HELVIS-Sim is a full dynamic & kinematic vehicular simulator for the HELVIS platform, consisting of a Simulink™ environment through which the states of a large number of variables related to the vehicle can be observed and analyzed. Specially in this paper, the focus is in the control of HELVIS EDS (Electronic Differential System), presenting classic, A.I.-based (Artificial Intelligence) and optimal robust controllers in the problem of the adjustment of the rear angular speeds. HELVIS-Sim results are then compared to experimental data obtained from the real HELVIS EDS, with the aid of a dSpace™ real time interface board.
