Introduction. Hemorrhagic fever with kidney syndrome is an acute infectious disease of the zoonotic character, which is characterized by the sudden beginning, high temperature, distinct hemorrhagic syndrome and symptoms and signs of the acute kidney insufficiency. Hemorrhagic fever with kidney syndrome can have mild, moderate and severe clinical picture and the mortality ranges from 5%-15% in our area. The pupose of this study was to try to present criteria on the basis of which it would be possible to forsee, on time, the severity of the clinical picture and to recognize the patient with the

Abstract:
We worked out a method of hantavirus Puumala cultivation in Vero cells on a micro-carrier in small volumes of pseudosuspension. The results obtained demonstrate the effectiveness of this cultivation method in terms of the amount of viral harvest and the effort expended and will serve as a starting point for further scale-up of the vaccine against hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome in the bioreactor.

Abstract:
In Russia, the Puumala virus is the most important pathogen causing hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). This study demonstrated, that the genome variants of the Puumala virus that caused the outbreak of HFRS in the Saratov region in 2019 are descendants of strains circulating in Udmurtia, which were presumably introduced into the territory of the Saratov region by anthropogenic transfer downstream of the Kama and Volga rivers.
