Abstract:
The monograph is devoted to the pathogenesis, clinic and treatment of patients with ventral hernia and obesity up to grade II. The features of the development of the disease, accompanied by the development of a cutaneous-subcutaneous apron — panniculus, which significantly affects the dynamics of hernia enlargement and the quality of life of the patient, are described. The classification of the panniculus, developed on the basis of the proposed mathematical model of the development of the pathological process in the abdominal wall, and the justification of indications for its removal are prese

Abstract:
Various potentially catastrophic complications can occur intraoperatively during the performance of a laparoscopic bariatric procedure. They can be divided broadly into laparoscopic access injuries and complications related to pneumoperitoneum. Most injuries occur at the time of abdominal access for camera and port placement. Access injuries can be attributed to Veress needle and/or trocar insertions. Injuries can occur to vessels (major and minor) with significant hemorrhage, solid organs (liver, spleen), and viscera. Such injuries can be devastating and are a source of significant morbidity

Abstract:
A retrograde nephroureteral catheter is placed in patients who have undergone cystectomy with ileal conduit formation. An ileal conduit connects the ureters to a loop of bowel that is then secured to the anterior abdominal wall to allow for ostomy bag drainage. Patients may develop complications in the form of stricture at the ureteroenteric junction causing obstruction. These patients may need temporary diversion of urine through a nephrostomy catheter. The retrograde nephroureteral catheter is a better option because it provides a less invasive and safer approach. Unlike the routine exchange
