Aim: Wireless Sensor Network is spatially distributed autonomous sensor to monitor physical and environmental conditions. Energy is the scarcest resource of WSN nodes, and it determines the lifetime of WSNs. For this reason, algorithms and protocols need to address the issues such as increased lifespan, fault tolerance and energy efficiency. For energy efficiency we have various routing protocol. One of them is HEEMCP Protocol which has been discussed in the below paper along with other protocols. Study Design: MATLAB is being used for simulating the networks.

Abstract: We study the impact of heterogeneity of nodes, in terms of their energy, in wireless sensor networks that are hierarchically clustered. In these networks some of the nodes become cluster heads, aggregate the data of their cluster members and transmit it to the sink. We assume that a percentage of the population of sensor nodes is equipped with additional energy resources—this is a source of heterogeneity which may result from the initial setting or as the operation of the network evolves. We propose SEP, a heterogeneous-aware protocol to prolong the time interval before the death of

AbstractWireless sensor networks (WSNs) are used in many different fields. One of the most recent and rapidly expanding applications is the Internet of Things (IoT), which enables the connectivity of numerous objects or devices over the Internet. However, WSNs have a bigger concern about battery power than mobile ad hoc networks, which shortens the network's lifetime. As a result, extensive research has been done on lowering WSNs' energy usage. Designing a hierarchical clustering algorithm is one of many methods for lowering the energy consumption of WSNs. Given the restricted hardware capabil

SummaryThe cluster networking protocols are the roots that embed intelligent decision‐making and enhance the lifespan of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Wireless sensors with limited capabilities face several challenges due to the heterogeneous application environments. Especially, the mobility‐incorporated sensors in most situations trouble the cluster network's robustness. Many cluster networking protocols have been presented in the past to enhance the network lifespan and data delivery ratio. However, they lack a dedicated and efficient mechanism for mobility assistance, an adequate cluste
