Abstract:
Summary. In connection with the growing volume of scientific data on the genetic problems of generalized epilepsy in recent decades, the ambiguity of the therapeutic tactics and prognosis of this cohort of patients has become obvious based solely on the phenotypic characteristics of the patient. It is known that epilepsies with similar phenotypes show a different genetic nature, different pathogenesis of the development of epileptogenesis and response to therapy. The outcomes also differ, both in terms of seizure control and in terms of cognitive functions. The article presents an overview of the factors that must be taken into account when manifesting childhood absentee epilepsy: the child’s gender, types of seizures, cognitive profile, results of electroencephalography and neuroimaging. Attention is paid to the genes that determine the development of these forms of epilepsy in children.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to identify customer-specific differences in a general model of e-loyalty taking into account the existence of unobserved heterogeneity. Specifically, this paper aims to test for the presence of customer heterogeneity; assess the impact of potential bias when there is no control for heterogeneity; analyse the distinct customer segments that emerge from the empirical estimation of the model; and describe the segments by their demographic and psychological characteristics. Design/methodology/approach – Panel data from a survey of online shoppers are used in a post hoc segmentation method, which will enable us to identify segments, while estimating the parameters by means of structural equation models. Findings – Three distinct consumer segments emerge. The relative importance of e-loyalty and e-satisfaction is significantly determined by consumers’ shopping styles. Originality/value – This study highlights the need to consider unobserved customer heterogeneity when attempting to explain satisfaction and loyalty development processes in the retail context in general and e-commerce in particular. To the authors’ knowledge, this is the first time this approach has been used to analyse the impact of customer heterogeneity on e-satisfaction and e-loyalty.

Abstract:
Measuring biodiversity of insects is an essential part in management concept of insect pest populations based on ecology. This study examined the index of insect biodiversity by measuring species richness, species evenness and heterogeneity in organic and non-organic rice farming ecosystem. The sampling was conducted during the planting season of April–May 2015 and October–November 2015 at 44, 52 and 66 days after rice transplanting (DAT). High number of species richness (7 to 13 species) was found in the non-organic rice field (April–May 2015). In contrast, high number of species richness (22 to 33 species) was found in the organic rice field (October–November 2015). The species evenness and heterogeneity in the organic farming were generally higher than these in the non-organic rice in the both of planting season April–May 2015 and October–November 2015. Overall, the organic rice farming ecosystem can increase species richness, species evenness and heterogeneity of insect.

Abstract:
One of the features of Jungjang Village is the heterogeneity of religion, there are even houses of worship of several religions in one area. The heterogeneity of religion itself is a variety of systems for ways of worshiping God Almighty and interactions with adherents of other faiths. Since a long time ago, tolerance has been deeply embedded there. However, it is feared that lately the rise of religious issues will erode existing tolerance. In order to address the existing diversity in order not to create divisions, religious moderation is needed. Moderation or moderation, namely not being extreme or not exaggerating towards a view, but must find a middle way. The method used by researchers is a qualitative type with unstructured observation and structured interviews as data collection techniques. After conducting research for two weeks, it was found that the moderation attitude in Jungjang Village was still strong so that tolerance was still closely intertwined amid the heterogeneity that existed there

Abstract:
Purpose: Rotator cuff tears (RCTs) occur commonly, especially among certain groups of individuals. In this meta-analysis, we aim to identify risk factors for RCTs. Methods: We searched MEDLINE for 210 articles. Seventeen articles were selected for systematic review, of which 10 were eligible for meta-analysis. Data was analysed with Review Manager 5.3, using Mantel–Haenszel statistics and random effect models. Results: A total of 6653 individuals were analysed. The odds of sustaining a RCT on the dominant hand was 2.30 times more than the non-dominant hand (95% confidence interval (CI): 1.01–5.25, Z = 1.99, p = 0.05; Heterogenity: τ2 = 0.38, χ2 = 8.84, df = 2 ( p = 0.01), I2 = 77%). The odds of an individual aged 60 years and above sustaining a RCT was 5.07 times higher than an individual less than 60 years old (95% CI: 2.45–10.51, Z = 4.37, p < 0.001; Heterogenity: τ2 = 0.47, χ2 = 25.24, df = 3 ( p < 0.001), I2 = 88%). Female gender was not a significant association, with an odds ratio of 0.98 when compared to the male gender (95% CI: 0.66–1.45, Z = 0.09, p = 0.93; Heterogenity: τ2 = 0.20, χ2 = 44.24, df = 5 ( p < 0.001), I2 = 89%). Conclusions: Hand dominance and older age are associated with RCTs. More studies are required for further assessment of associations and risk factors of RCTs.

Abstract:
25 Background: Current methods for prostate cancer risk stratification are often insufficient to accurately predict outcome after definitive therapy. As tumor multi-focality and genetic heterogeneity can lead to diagnostic prostate biopsy sampling bias, we hypothesize that quantitative imaging with multiparametric (MP)-MRI will more accurately direct targeted biopsies to index lesions associated with highest risk clinical and genomic features, and improve accuracy of current risk classification systems. Methods: Regionally distinct prostate habitats were delineated on MP-MRI (T2w, perfusion and diffusion imaging). Directed biopsies were performed on 17 habitats from 6 patients using MRI-ultrasound fusion. Biopsy location was characterized with 51 radiographic features (including intensity, volume, perfusion, and diffusion paramters). Transcriptome-wide analysis of 1.4 million RNA probes was performed on RNA from each habitat. Genomics features with insignificant expression values (<0.25) and interquartile range <0.5 were filtered, leaving ~2K features. Results: High quality genomic data was derived from 17 (100%) biopsies and clustered by patient origin. Using only prostate cancer related genomic features for hierarchical clustering, samples clustered by Gleason score (GS), indicating these biopsies contain prognostic signal. Similarly, when principal component analysis was performed on 51 imaging features, the primary source of variance segregated the samples into high (≥7) and low (6) GS. Pearson’s correlation analysis identified 152 genomic features that were highly associated with the imaging features (|r| > 0.7). Furthermore, genomic features were found to be significantly enriched for prostate cancer related pathways (p < 0.05), representing a potential biologically meaningful link between imaging and genomic data. Conclusions: MP-MRI-targeted diagnostic biopsies can potentially improve risk classification by directing pathological and genomic analysis to highest risk index lesions. This is the first demonstration of a link between quantitative imaging features (radiomics) with genomic features in MRI-directed prostate biopsies.

Abstract:
Islamic populism in Indonesia is perceived as an alliance of the people on behalf of the ummah in urban areas, against the ruling elites who enjoy the promises of peace and prosperity more than capitalism, modernism and democracy. This paper though intends to disclose the Islamic populism in rural areas through the power of capital and symbols as part of the cultural heterogenity between alliances in rural areas and large cities that simply focuses on political power. This research embraces the socio-cultural approach by applying the theory of generative structuralism penned by Pierre Bourdieu in order to analyze the resistance of cultural heterogenity by invigorating the cultural reproduction and symbols dominance to thwart the ummah alliance in urban areas. The results of this research show that the Islamic populism in rural areas upholds the belief in salvation, peace and unity, by reinforcing the cultural heterogenity among the congregations on various bases. In spite of domestication process in Islamic populism by the ruling elite, the ummah alliance in rural areas cannot be triggered due to their firm belief in salvation, which differs from the Islamic populism in large cities where a symbol of injustice of the bourgeoisie and the ruling elites prevails. The Islamic populism in rural areas has caused the failure of Islamic populism in large cities since their main discourse solely considers the middle class, in contrast to the Islamic populism in rural areas that might may welcome both the middle class and the lower class.

Hibrid maize is cultivated on larger plots, therefore the sown areas of hibrid maize are heterogeneous from a pedology aspect. Heterogenity causes problems during tasseling, chemical plant protection and harvest. The heterogenity of sown areas can be compensated by fertilization which is based on soil analysis. We carried out research into change of the soil on four soil types from 1987 to 2005.There were no significant changes in pH, hydroiodic acidity, CaCO3-content, humus-content on meadow chernozem soil. We detected equalization of salin content in the examined soil layers. There were no significant changes in the measured values on chernozem meadow soil and solonetz meadow soil in 2005. We discoverd equalization of saline content on chernozem meadow soil, but the changes were not as obvious as the changes on meadow chernozem soil. We found salinization in the 30-60 cm soil layer on type meadow soil that may be due to water movement.

Abstract:
Jayapura city is the capital of Papua province, located at the eastern end of Indonesia and the borders with neighboring countries, Papua New Guinea. From the results of population census in 2010 the population of the Jayapura city is 256.705 inhabitants with a number of indigenous people as much as 89.773 people (34.97%) and as many as 166.932 nonPapua population (65.03%). This figure shows that in Jayapura city, the number of migrants is much more than the indigenous people. The term amber and komin then appears that refers to the indigenous people of Papua (komin) and immigrants nonPapua (amber). The high migration flows in Jayapura resulting diversity in socio-cultural and economic structure of the population. This impacted on the formation of the population settlement patterns. This paper discusses the ethnic heterogeneity in Jayapura city community in shaping the urban spatial pattern. From the discussion, it is known that the existing settlements in Jayapura city consists of settlements indigenous peoples, settlements inhabited by a mixed population of Papua and nonPapua population, settlements inhabited by ethnic Papuans from outside the city of Jayapura and settlements inhabited by ethnic immigrants certain nonPapua. Settlement indigenous peoples still survive as indigenous settlements that have a spiritual religious meaning that must be maintained and protected. While the settlement of migrants Papua and nonPapua formed by some preferences, namely the ties of kinship, proximity to sources of livelihood (workplace) and social status.

Abstract:
Anorexia nervosa is a serious, chronical state of illness which often starts in childhood or adolescence and has serious consequences on the quality of life. This review focuses on the heterogenity of the disease with emphasis on special diagnostic implications in case of childhood onset. Research findings of the last decade showed that genetic and neurobiological vulnerabilities are at least as potent risk factors as psychological, family constellations and sociocultural preferences. The heritability of eating disorders levels those of diseases predominantly influenced by biological factors. The authors give a summary of the most investigated neurobiologic and neurocognitive factors which could be the fundaments of a biological vulnerablilty. To date, no common risk factor could be identified, but some existing adversities can clearly be related to distinct subgroups with the disorder. The concept of endo- and subphenotypes leads to more specific and more efficiant methods of therapy in other somatic and psychiatric diseases. Orv. Hetil., 2014, 155(4), 124–131.

Abstract:
This paper links predispositions and structural influences on civic participation by exploring the relationship among personality strength, network size, network heterogeneity, and political tolerance, as well as their direct and indirect impact on civic participation. Results from a national telephone survey (n=694) show political tolerance has a positive effect on political participation. The effect of personality strength on civic participation is mediated through discussion networks. Although personality strength has a negative effect on political tolerance, it boosts both the size of individual’s discussion network and the heterogeneity of this network. Moreover, network heterogeneity indirectly facilitates civic participation by increasing political knowledge and tolerance.

Abstract:
Latex particles of ethyl acrylate-methacrylic acid copolymers prepared by semicontinuous emulsion polymerization with a monomer emulsion feed were found to disintegrate into smaller subparticles on alkalization. The phenomenon observed by light scattering and scanning electron microscopy is explained in terms of heterogeneous structure of latex particles which are agglomerates of small particles formed by coagulation during polymerization. The influence of particle size and polymerization route on particle heterogenity is discussed.

Abstract:
AbstractIntraluminal contents of benign and malignant prostatic tissue are associated with varying forms of acellular structures. These include corpora amylacea, prostatic calculi, and prostatic crystalloids. There are relatively few microscopy studies about the characterization of intraluminal structures from benign and malignant prostatic glands and little is known about their chemical composition. In the present study, we used a combination of special histochemical methods, immunohistochemistry, and transmission electron microscopy to characterize intraluminal contents of benign and malignant prostate glands. The study was done on 33 radical prostatectomy and four transurethral resections of prostate specimens. Histochemical methods such as von Kossa, autometallography (AMG), as well as PSA immunohistochemistry and transmission electron microscopy were performed to characterize intraluminal contents of benign and malignant prostate glands. Von Kossa staining was observed in acellular structures, corpora amylacea, prostatic calculi, and calcified blood vessels. AMG staining was observed in the lumen of small glands, in the epithelium lining prostate glands, and corpora amylacea. PSA staining showed prostatic glands with both positive and negative corpora amylacea and epithelial cells. Ultrastructural observation revealed the presence of a variety of highly heterogeneous aggregates composed of fibrillar elements that were similar to those of amyloid.

Abstract:
This review highlights and discusses recent advances in understanding left ventricular non - compaction (LVNC). Clinical profile, prognosis and even diagnosis are still a great challenge faced by the world. The population prevalence of left ventricular non - compaction remains unknown. High variability of clinical manifestations, genetic heterogenity with overlap of different phenotypes, variability of hereditary patterns suggests that LVNC seems to be rather an isolated trait or a part of phenotypic expression of different cardiac diseases or complex genetic syndromes.
