Abstract:
A questionnaire survey of demographic, environmental, psychological, and occupational influences on health was conducted in 6 office buildings in the UK. A total of 486 completed questionnaires were analyzed (85% response rate). The results showed that the prevalence of symptoms was not associated with job satisfaction, and the previously reported sex difference in symptom prevalence was not confirmed although this approached significance. The results suggest that work-related illness is strongly associated with self-reported job stress and negative perceptions of the office environment i.e. dissatisfaction with temperature, ventilation, lighting, and noise.

Abstract:
This research was aimed at examining the impact of job stress, communication and work environment on employee job satisfaction in PT. PLN (Persero) Cilacap Jawa Tengah. The object of this research was the employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Cilacap Jawa Tengah, namely: PLN APJ Cilacap, UPJ Sidareja and UPJ Majenang. The total number was 85 persons (census). This research applied multiple regression analysis, T test and T test. The study results revealed that job stress was negatively related to employee satisfaction, while communication and work environment positively affected employee job satisfaction in PT. Abstract:
Background: Considering the significant role of nurses in health care and the importance of commitment in public health, the aim of this study was to examine the association between work-related stress, and job satisfaction and commitment among nurses. Methods: This cross-sectional study has been performed among 100 nurses working in a teaching hospital affiliated to Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, northern Iran, in 2015. The participants were assessed by standard questionnaires on work-related stress, and job satisfaction and commitment. Descriptive indexes were analysed via regression and correlation. Results: The participants were aged between 25 and 45 years. In total, 85% of nurses held a bachelor degree and the rest were postgraduates. Most of the nurses (77%) had experience in their job for more than 10 years. Total score of mean job commitment showed a high score among nurses (102.9±8.9); job satisfaction also showed a mean of (261.6±27.44). Total score of work-related stress was (112.0±11.99). The results indicated that job satisfaction and work-related stress explained 54% of variance in job commitment. The overall job satisfaction (Beta = 0.471, p<0.05) and overall work stress (Beta = -0.635, p<0.102) influenced job commitment. Conclusion: The results of the present study showed that work stress and job satisfaction affects job commitment among nurses. Therefore, it is advisable to pay more attention to job satisfaction and stress in these sensitive occupations, to promote commitment and job efficacy.

Abstract:
Introduction. The turnover intention of teachers who work at childcare centers and facilities is high in Korea because of workplace incivility and job stress. There is a need for research to reduce turnover intention. This study aimed to investigate whether gratitude moderates the mediating effects of job stress in the association between organizational incivility and turnover intention of childcare teachers. Study participants and methods. The participants in this study were child-care teachers working in Chungnam province of Korea. The survey participants were 108 (49.1%) in their 40s, 85 (38.6%) in their 30s and older, and 27 (12.3%) in their 50s and older. There were 180 married people (78.6%), and 49 people (21.4%) unmarried. For analysis, we did data analysis using SPSS PC+ Win. Ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro Ver. 3.5. We used frequency, reliability, correlation, and moderated mediating effect analysis. Results. First, organizational incivility, job stress, and turnover intention were significantly correlated. Organizational incivility had a positive correlation with job stress (r = .412, p < .01) and turnover intention (r = .536, p < .01), and gratitude was negatively correlated with job stress (r = -.288, p < .01) and with turnover intention (r = -.339, p < .01). Second, as the result of analyzing the moderated mediation effect analysis, when the gratitude value was low (M-1SD), medium (M), and high (M+1SD), the conditional indirect effect was significant. Therefore, the moderated mediating effect of gratitude moderating the mediating effect of job stress in the link between organizational incivility and turnover intention was verified. Practical significance. Incivility acted as a cause of increasing turnover intention, and gratitude acted as a buffer to lower turnover intention. Therefore, this study will be used as policy development data to lower the intention to turnover of childcare teachers who have experienced rudeness and to improve the quality of childcare services.

Abstract:
Employees become an important factor in the success of the organization. They have impact on almost every business activity. Therefore company needs to manage their human resources in order to get highest performance. Many human resources practices implemented to achieve such result. One thing that indicate a positive result is the level of employee commitment toward the organization. Committed employees will contribute more. Affective commitment is the highest level of commitment because this emerge from within the employee's feelings. This study discusses the effect of perceived organizational support (POS), stress, and job satisfaction on employee’s affective commitment. The research was conducted in the drinking water company in Bandung using 85 participants. The analysis technique used is partial correlation analysis to identify the relationship between variables and also identify control variables that affect each relationship. Furthermore, mediation analysis is used to determine whether stress and job satisfaction have a mediating role in the relationship of POS influence to affective commitment. The results showed that POS had no significant effect on affective commitment. Furthermore, stress does not have the role of mediation either partially or simultaneously with job satisfaction. While job satisfaction has a partial mediation role in the relationship of influence between POS and affective commitment.

Abstract:
Psychological or mental problems is one of the health problems that often occur in workers in an industry. Noise is one of the factors that can affect job stress. Production worker of PT. Semen Bosowa Banyuwangi has the potential to experience work stress. Method: This research is an observational research with descriptive research design with crossectional approach. Sampling using total sampling method, with 49 respondents. The variables in this study are job stress, noise intensity, noise complaints and respondent characteristics. Results: Respondents were on average 30 years old with the youngest age of 19 years and the oldest was 40 years old. Most recent education is taken by the respondent is the level of Senior High School (SMA). Most of the respondents are married. The average respondent has been working for 3.5 years. Most workers are exposed to noise with an intensity of 85 - 90 dBA. There are 38.8% of workers who feel disturbed by the noise work environment. Working stress in the medium category has the highest proportion with a percentage of 51%. Discussion: Workers production PT. Semen Bosowa Banyuwangi mostly experience moderate work stress. Occurrence of work stress tends to increase in line with the increase in noise intensity. Workers who feel disturbed by the noise are mostly experiencing moderate work stress.

Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode penentuan sampel adalah Non Probability Sampling yaitu sampling aksidental dengan total kuesioner yang terkumpul 85 orang. Metode penentuan sampel adalah Non Probability Sampling yaitu Sampling aksidental. Analisis dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner melalui google form secara online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan job insecurity terhadap stres karyawan pelaku pariwisata perhotelan akibat dampak pandemi Covid-19. Pihak manajemen Golden Palace Hotel Lombok diharapkan dapat memperhatikan hasil dari penelitian ini khususnya berkaitan dengan job insecurity dengan tingkat sedang menurut penilaian responden pada masa pandemi ini, agar karyawan dapat tetap merasa aman dan tidak khawatir atas keberlanjutan karirnya. Diharapkan pula bagi pihak manajemen untuk mengelola stress karyawan agar selalu memberikan kinerja terbaiknya untuk perusahaan.

Six hundred forty nurses from surgery and internal medicine departments from Slovenian hospitals participated in the research. Data analysis was carried out by using SPSS 25.0. With transformational leadership style, leaders' characteristics, leaders' emotional intelligence, leaders' communication skills, positive effectivity, and job satisfaction, one can explain 57% of nurses' psychological health. The results indicated that 85% of nurses had good psychological health. And also that more frequent exposure to stress and lack of stress management were associated with poor psychological health. The employees' psychological health does not affect only the individual, but also on the quality of care and on the effectiveness of hospitals. It is important to monitor employees' job satisfaction and take care for employees' health by providing a healthy work environment.

Research about relationship between the leadership behavior and the psychological health is still limited. The effect of job dissatisfaction on health is important not only from medical but also from the economic perspective. The association between leadership behavior, job satisfaction and psychological health in nursing was tested. 640 hospital nurses from surgery and internal medicine departments in Slovenian hospitals participated. Data analysis was carried out by using SPSS, 20.0. The transformational leadership style, leaders' characteristics, job satisfaction predicted better psychological health. More frequent exposure to stress and the lack of stress management was associated with poor psychological health. Job satisfaction is at a medium level. The results indicated that 85% of employees in nursing had good psychological health. The psychological health of employees does not affect only on individual, but also on the quality and effectiveness. It is important to monitor employees' job satisfaction and take care for health by providing a healthy work environment.

Abstract A major Exploration and Production (E & P) company was posed with a challenge of sustained casing pressure in over 85% of the wells drilled in one of the fields in the Offshore Niger Delta. Sustained casing pressure occurs when the annular seal is damaged and a path is created for the formation pressure to reach the surface, and the pressure in the annulus rebuilds after being bled down. When cementing in such an environment, operators have the following objectives: Placing a cement sheath with increased capability to survive future downhole stress events.Achieving effective mud removal.Gaining the benefits of a react and respond sheath design.Providing a long productive life for the wellbore. To develop a cement system that would achieve and maintain isolation throughout the life of the well, an advanced cement technology was required. This advanced cement technology involved Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to model the effects of stresses from well operations on the cement sheath. This analysis takes into consideration well configuration, formation properties, casing properties, cement properties and operational loads and predicts the remaining capacities of the cement sheath. The remaining capacity is used to measure how much a cement sheath is stressed. After simulating the effect of downhole stresses on a cement sheath, a mechanically enhanced cement slurry was designed to meet the recommendations of the model and provide a cement sheath with improved remaining capacity. This paper presents the successful mechanically enhanced slurry design, job design, planning and execution on the production section of the well after a Finite Element Analysis was conducted. Post job conditions such as good cement bonds across cemented areas, well production without inter-zonal communication and no annular pressure build up in over 8 years have proven the success of the design and the procedure implemented in these challenging well bore environments. The success of this well has been applied to two additional wells.
