The list of frequently cited publications included more general psychiatry and psychology journals than titles specific to forensic psychology. The implications of the proportion of general versus specific titles for collections supporting research in forensic psychology were discussed.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) defines abrasive blasting as “using compressed air or water to direct a high-velocity stream of an abrasive material to clean an object or surface, remove burrs, apply a texture or prepare a surface for the application of paint or other type of coating.” OSHA regulations governing General Industry, Construction, and Shipyards mandate the use of abrasive-blast respirators approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Blast respirators are Type-CE supplied-air respirators, commonly known as “blast helmets.”

Abstract Although they do occur, dramatic failures of boiler and superheater tubes are somewhat rare. More often the failure modes are subtle. Often a fine line must be drawn between “failure” and normal deterioration with normal life expectancy. This paper’s primary focus is an integrated approach to elucidation of the mechanisms and causes of boiler and superheater failures used by the author. Examples documented by photos and micrographs are offered. The scope is limited to the waterside of fired boilers, ranging from high pressure utility units through intermediate pressure co-generation,

Abstract Zirconium is resistant to many corrosive media such as acids, alkalies, organic compounds and salts. When used in applications where high corrosion resistance is required, zirconium will reduce maintenance and downtime and in many cases will increase process efficiency. Several examples of cost savings are shown. Three different sulfuric acid applications are cited. In nitric acid where austenitic stainless steels and titanium had limited corrosion resistance, the use of zirconium has led to reduced maintenance and increased process efficiency. Abstract Oil production and refining environments pose a very severe wear and corrosion environment. Material designers are challenged with the need to design and develop materials that combine a high corrosion resistance with very good wear resistance. Coupled with that is the need for these materials to meet requirements, such as, fracture toughness and resistance to sulfide and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Often times, increasing the resistance to wear compromises the corrosion and welding characteristics. This paper covers a variety of material developments that aim to address the t

Abstract During the past few years there has been increasing evidence of material changes occurring in aging Refinery and Petrochemical equipment. An example is the embrittlement of low chromium-molybdenum steels. This embrittlement can be manifested either by loss of creep rupture strength and ductility in heat affected zones (HAZ) of welds or loss of base metal, room temperature CVN toughness. Recently, there have been cases where one or both types of materials degradation have been reported. A case is cited here where both forms of degradation were found. In addition, Black- and Hispanic-owned firms are more likely than white- and Asian-owned firms to report that they applied to an online lender. Within foreign development assistance, it implies a more coherent and systematically institutionalised approach to gender mainstreaming. The work resulting from the this grant leads to a number of conclusions. SuSy clearly plays diverse roles in carbon metabolism. It is also concentrated at sites of high callose deposition (tapetal cells; cell plates). When SuSy levels are lowered by mutation
