Abstract:
A model-independent control strategy called high-order differential feedback control (HODFC) is applied to a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (QUAV) based on a semi-autopilot indoor optical positioning system. The affine system form of the quadrotor model is provided to facilitate the design of the HODFC. A fifth-order high order differentiator (HOD) is introduced to estimate with high precision the derivatives of the reference input and the QUAV system’s states. A filtering signal of the control output is incorporated in the control law to overcome the system model’s unknown part in the HODF

Abstract Following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), longterm T-cell reconstitution should be established by thymus-dependent de-novo generation of naïve T-cells (thymopoiesis), which is especially important for generating a naïve T-cell pool with a broad T-cell receptor (TCR) repertoire. However, while erythroid and myeloid hematopoietic cell lineages recover rapidly following HSCT, T-cell development may severely lag behind due to thymic insufficiency. Recent studies in fetal mice have identified common thymic epithelial progenitor cells (TEPC) that were capable to re-establi

A continuous nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode (NFTSM) control scheme with the extended state observer (ESO) and the tracking differentiator (TD) is proposed for second-order uncertain SISO nonlinear systems. The system’s disturbances and states can be estimated by introducing the ESO, then the disturbances are compensated effectively, and the ideal transient process of the system can be arranged based on TD to provide the target tracking signal and its high-order derivatives. The proposed controller obtains finite-time convergence property and keeps good robustness of sliding mode contro

Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) have been widely applied in the shipborne rocket launcher systems due to their high torque density and high efficiency. However, since there are many external disturbances from the shipborne rocket launcher, the tracking performance under random noises needs to be improved. In this paper, an improved finite control set optimal control (IFCSOC) based on a super-twisting extended state observer (SESO) is investigated for position tracking control of PMSMs. The SESO can improve the anti-interference ability of the proposed controller. SUMMARYControlling a walking biped robot is a challenging problem due to the robot's complex and uncertain dynamics. In order to tackle this problem, we propose a sliding mode controller based on a dynamic model that we obtained using the conformal geometric algebra (CGA) approach. An important contribution of this paper is the development of algorithms using the CGA framework. The CGA framework permits us to use lines, points, and other geometric entities to obtain the Lagrange equations of the system. The optimum method for seismic modeling in random media must (1) be highly accurate to be sensitive to subtle effects of wave propagation, (2) allow coarse sampling to model media that are large compared to the scale lengths and wave propagation distances which are long compared to the wavelengths. This is necessary to obtain statistically meaningful overall attributes of wavefields. High order staggered grid finite‐difference algorithms and the pseudospectral method combine high accuracy in time and space with coarse sampling. Investigations for random media reveal that both methods lead to n

This paper focuses on robust output tracking control for quadrotors exposed to parametric uncertainties and external disturbances. Based on the back-stepping control principle, the quadrotor dynamics is decomposed into translational and rotational subsystems. To handle the limitation of traditional extended state observer that can only be effective for integral-chain systems, a high-order extended state observer with special structure is developed to estimate the unmeasurable states and the lumped disturbances in rotational subsystem simultaneously.
