The volumetrie proportions of vessel elements, fibres, rays, and axial parenchyma plus vasicentric tracheids were determined for the stern, branch and root wood of threc black oak (Quercus velutina Lam.) trees. There were statistical differences in the proportions of wood elements between locations within the trees sampled, i.e., branches, sterns, roots, oblique roots, and lateral roots. The addition of flaxseed and amaranth on the physicochemical, functional, and microstructural changes of instant-extruded products was evaluated. Six mixtures with different proportions of amaranth (18.7–33.1%), flaxseed (6.6–9.3%), maize grits (55.6–67.3%) and minor ingredients (4.7%) were extruded in a twin-screw extruder. Insoluble and soluble fiber contents in extrudates increased as the proportions of amaranth and flaxseed increased. These form the functional components of the visual input to the thalamic gate. I then look at evidence that all major thalamic relay nuclei have a shared structure produced by a shared developmental and evolutionary origin. Each nucleus receives a small proportion of its synaptic inputs (&lt;10%) for relay to the cortex; these are the drivers. In the paper is presented an examination of the mechanical properties of the samples made of polymer materials Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). Specimens of the first and second series, were made with 100 % PLA filling and 100 % ABS filling. The third series of specimens was made with 100 % filling from PLA material and 20 % filling from ABS material. The specimens were made according to ISO 527 – 2: 1993 and tested in a tensile test.
