Also referred to as green cities or eco-cities, sustainable urban centres have arisen from the imperative to harmonise economic, ecological, and social agendas, aimed at fostering resilient environments for the benefit of both present and future generations. This global interest in transitioning cities and communities towards sustainability is exemplified by the 11th Sustainable Development Goal, which encompasses objectives such as ensuring safe housing and infrastructure, enhancing air quality, managing waste efficiently, and bolstering disaster resilience. There are a variety of translations of Lunyu into English, among which Ku Hungming’s version is highly debated. Some people argue that Ku’s translation is too creative while other people believe his selection of wording is superior to that of others. Lin Yutang’s comments on Ku’s translation of Lunyu are, “His English is outstanding, which is rarely seen in the late two hundred years. His diction and word selection is outstanding.” As is pointed out by Jing Shuoyu, the purpose of translation is to help communication and understanding. Abstract:
Many GE frame gas turbines have a unique 90-degree tailpipe exhaust system that contains struts, diffusers, and turning vanes. As confirmed in a recent report by GE and other authors [1], it is known in the industry that this tailpipe design has large pressure losses. In this recent report a pressure loss as high as 60 inches of water (0.15 kgs/sqcm) was cited. Due to the flow separations they create, the report indicates that the struts can cause very high-pressure losses in the turbine. The report also states that these pressure losses can vary with different turbine load conditions. Cheng F

Background: Bibliometric analyses allow detecting citation trends within a field, including assessments of the most cited journals, countries, institutions, topics, types of study, and authors. Objectives: To perform a bibliometric analysis of the 100 most cited papers within infectious meningitis research. Methods: The 100 most cited publications and their data were retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science during 2019. Results: The New England Journal of Medicine had the greatest number of articles (27) and citations (12,266) in the top 100. Articles were mainly published after the late 1980s

The authors have studied daily decision-making processes in groups under uncertainty, with an exploratory field study in the medical domain. The work follows the tradition of naturalistic decision-making (NDM) research. It aims to understand how groups in this high reliability context conceptualize and internalize uncertainties, and how they handle them in order to achieve effective decision-making in their everyday activities. Analysis of the survey data shows that uncertainty is thought of in terms of issues and sources (as identified by previous research), but also (possibly a domain-specif
