Abstract:
The present study focuses on the intralobular ducts present in rabbit mandibular gland, from a histological and histochemical point of view. We harvested mandibular gland samples from five rabbits (approximately six month old), which were paraffin embedded and subsequently stained for histological investigation with hematoxylin-eosin. PAS and Alcian blue reactions were used for histochemical assessment. Results show that mandibular gland in rabbit contains one type of acini, namely serous. Concerning the intralobular ducts, there were three types identified: intercalated, granular and striated

Abstract:
This study aimed to examine the histomorphological and histochemical characteristics of the uterine tubes in premature female local goats. For this particular investigation, a total of 10 samples of uterine tubes were used. These samples were obtained from slaughterhouses and were taken from individuals aged between 3 and 5 months. The histological technique involved the execution of a standard approach to prepare histological sections. This was achieved by applying both general and particular Histochemical stains. Uterine tube samples were obtained and stored using a solution of 10% neutral b

Nine human mucin genes have been described, which express glycoproteins MUCJ,2,3,4 ,5AC,5B,6, 7, and 8 in various tissues. It has been shown that different mucins are expressed in various gastric disease states as compared to the normal. In this study histochemical and immunohistochemical methods were used to determine the type of mucin and the pattern of staining in 54 patients with a variety of gastric conditions [i.e. normal controls, foetal stomachs, chronic active gastritis, low grade dysplasia, intestinal metaplasia (associated with gastritis, benign ulcers, dysplasia and cancer), early

Among organ systems in the human body affected by alcohol abuse, the lungs are particularly vulnerable to infections and injury. Chronic alcoholism causesalterations in host defence of the upper and lower airways, disruption of alveolar epithelial barrier integrity, alcohol-induced ciliary lesions and alveolar macrophages dysfunction. Currently with a spread of SARS-COV 2 infections which instantly destroys the lung tissue, the alcohol-induced lung damage issues acquire vital importance, as they might further increase severity of lesions of lung tissue in the infected alcohol abusers.Recent in
