Abstract:
The article presents the results of studies aimed at studying the effect of domestic feed additives based on a 55 % water-oil emulsion of fish oil and flaxseed oil (Manufacturer: LLC Firm "A-BIO") on the histomorphological parameters of muscle tissue and internal organs (liver, spleen) of laying hens. It is worth noting that the use of drugs and feed additives in livestock and poultry farming can have both positive and negative effects on the animal’s body as a whole. Carrying out histomorphological studies of the muscle tissue and internal organs of birds after the use of feed additives will

Background: Being one of the commonest glomerular diseases in adults and a major etiology of the nephrotic syndrome, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) gradually progresses towards end-stage renal disease (ESRD). According to pathogenesis, FSGS can be classified into primary or secondary ones and in both instances, histomorphological findings are nearly indistinguishable. Five histomorphological variants of primary as well as secondary focal segmental sclerosis have already been accepted, for instance, NOS (not otherwise specified), tip, cellular, perihilar, and collapsing variants. Background: Among various feed additives currently used in poultry nutrition, an important role is played by bioactive substances, including prebiotics. The beneficial effect of these bioactive substances on the gastrointestinal tract and immune system give rise to improvements in broiler health and performance nutrition, thus increasing the productivity of these birds. An innovative method for introducing bioactive substances into chickens is the in ovo injection into eggs intended for hatching. AbstractThe morphological differentiation between benign and malignant adrenocortical tumors is an ongoing problem in diagnostic pathology. In recent decades the complex scoring systems have been widely used to calculate the probability of malignancy in adrenocortical tumors on the basis of a variety of histomorphological parameters. We herewith present a substantially simplified method to diagnose adrenocortical carcinoma by a single histomorphological parameter on a consecutive series of more than 800 adrenocortical tumors. Abstract The aim of this study was to determine relationships between final mass of broilers and the histomorphological properties of individual segments of the gastrointestinal tract. This is confirmed by the obtained results, which indicate a strong and significant correlation between compared parameters. A strong significant (p<0.05) correlation (r=0.866) was found between the broiler final weight and the duodenal villus length, and between the broiler final weight and the caecal villus length (r=0.918). Supratentorial ependymomas (ST EPNs) are molecularly characterized, of which the RELA fusion positive tumors are the most common and aggressive subgroup. Moreover, histologically, anaplastic ST EPN (ST-AE) often mimic other central nervous system primary high-grade tumors resulting in a diagnostic dilemma. We aimed to study a cohort of ST-AE; evaluate the expression of two RELA fusion-associated markers—L1CAM and p65 (NF-κB); and correlate their expression with clinical and histological parameters. Cases of ST-AE diagnosed in our department from January 2011 to June 2016 (n = 72) were reviewed
