Abstract:
Tato studie představuje fenomén lobbyingu v kontextu koherentní obecné teorie občanské společnosti a analyzuje příčiny a důsledky problematického přijímání lobbyingu společností v České republice. Úvodem je představeno jádro teorie občanské společnosti. Jde o pokus o komplementární přístup k normativní teorii občanské společnosti. Ve druhé části je uveden fenomén lobbyingu a jeho hlavní formy a funkce v liberální politice. Třetí část je historickou analýzou příčin problematického přijímání lobbyingu v ČR. To je podmíněno specifickým charakterem politické kultury, jenž spočívá především v přetrvávajícím centralisticko-byrokratickém pojetí veřejného zájmu a politiky, jež se liší od liberálního pojetí. V této souvislosti hovoříme o tzv. deficitním pojetí politiky či o demokratickém deficitu. Ve čtvrté části se snažíme porozumět některým důsledkům a rezonancím defi citního pojetí politiky a konečně v páté části se pokoušíme na pozadí navržené teorie občanské společnosti poukázat na dílčí opatření podporující rozvoj občanské společnosti v ČR, jež se snaží redukovat negativní důsledky deficitního pojetí politiky a předcházet z něj vyplývajícím nebezpečím skrytého lobbyingu, klientelismu a korupce. V závěrečném shrnutí provádíme stručné srovnání se zahraniční praxí.

Asi neexistuje jiné důležité západní město, které nese stopy historie 20. století tak intenzivně a rozpačitě jako Berlín. Text tohoto města Berlína psán, vymazáván a znovu přepisován po celé násilné 20. století a jeho čitelnost závisí ve stejné míře na konkrétní realitě staveb jako na obrazech a vzpomínkách potlačených a zpřetrhaných traumatickými událostmi. Centrální Berlín poloviny 90. let je do takové míry gigantickým staveništěm, dírou v zemi, prolukou, že je naprosto legitimní tuto jeho charakteristiku vnímat jako převažující nad charakteristikou Berlína, který se stává. Představa Berlína jako proluky je více než metaforou. A nejde jen o přechodný stav, nýbrž o představu, která s sebou nese reálné historické konotace. Proluky kladené vedle sebe v této eseji jsou zásadně odlišné povahy. Jedna je otevřeným městským prostorem vzešlým z války, destrukce a série následných historických událostí; druhá je architektonickým prostorem, vědomě konstruovaným a v jádru sebe-reflektivním. Oba prostory rozvíjejí paměť, ale čí paměť?

Abstract:
Changes of physical, functional and social structure of the city as a result of the group of variously interrelated changes and events that are fundamentally participate in the formation of the image of the urban development. This doctoral thesis is based on research of the historical city center - squared. First part is focuses on the historical development of urban texture of the inner city of Brno and its squares. We are talking about Square of Freedom, Vegetable Market, Dominican square, Jacobs square, Capuchins square and Šilingrovo square. Based on individual characteristics, describing the emergence of morphological and functional changes in Brno square was created urban classification of basic types of square. City of Brno, as the capital city of region has a significant position in the structure of settlements. This fact has become one of the key aspects for the selection of examples of European cities and their squares. The second part of the thesis is based on comparative studies of different types of historical squares. In order to define the value of public spaces, it is necessary to look at the public places of historical perspective and deal with the causes that led to the decline of the importance and role of public spaces. Austrian capital cities of region (Graz, Linz, Klagenfurt and Salzburg) will be examined with regard to similar climatic conditions and a common cultural and historical context of the city. Based on urban patterns and graphic diagrams of each square are observed inner relationships between shapes of square, form, function and location of the position of an artwork. Research areas are also focused on comparing aspects of transport, green space, functional use, visual unit and social activities. The public space is shaped by a set of characteristics that promote diversity and interdependence of functions. For a better interpretation of the results have been established two benchmarks - symbol of identification with the place and the Magnet (function and filling space). The objective of the thesis is to define an aspects and elements of space which were involved in square use.

Abstract:
The main task of this thesis is to describe the development of construction of residential real estates in Polička. It is about capturing a building development of residential real estates since the city's foundation to the present. The thesis describes the construction, large buildings and apartment complexes. It shows how the city was developed and how the city grew. The first part describes the history of the site to the present days. In the second part I describe several buildings and housing complexes characteristic for the city. I try to explain the development of construction in different periods by looking into these objects. At the last part I deal with the current land use plan and the possibilities of further construction. I mention maps of the area, historical and contemporary photographs of selected residential properties and important buildings in my thesis.

Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to find a feasible form of urban structure for the site close to the historical center of the city. The work is based on a traditionalist approach to town planning. Proposed new city can be described as a city with mixing functionality, with a preference for non-motorized and public transport, environmental, but also economic, with lively streets with commerce and greenery, and a permeable barrier. Proposal seeking its own access to the site, differing from the zoning plan, which includes large areas of defunct industrial sites.

Abstract:
The thesis is conceived as a conceptual urban design of an area in the wider part of Brno city centre, in the district Brno-Zábrdovice. It works with the new principles of the compact city. It is focused primarily on the resurgence of streets, public spaces, waterfront of Svitava river, construction of areas for housing in the form of block of houses and revitalization of Cejl street. Project is designed according to contemporary urban design principles and eliminates the degree of flooding by automobile traffic in Brno city centre.

Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is urban solution for part of Zábrdovice. The area is located between the streets Cejl, Radlas and river Svitava with the idea of using in the long term. The basic prerequisite for the work is a change in financial circumstances on the investigated area. The result is a new definition of functional areas in the territories and linking the whole territory wíth the river and the historic town center. Also disclosure of the river Svitava, as well as the recovery of the Svitava drive. The aim is to propose a rational structure that will complement the existing territory and will link it with other parts of the city. The result should be efficient and effective area.

The dissertation focuses on rehabilitaion of urban space close to historic center of Brno city. One third of the area is taken by brownfields. These final goals were set: finding a new function for unused places, making a use of potential of Svitava canal and spaces in front of old buldings and creation of new urban spaces . Intervention includes creation of riverside designed for pedestrians, bike path construction, connecting area to city’s transportation system, bulding a new railway station and housing blocks with active street level and ability to walk througH area with as little obstacles as possible. Extra emphasis was placed on compactness of development, polyfunctionality and hierarchy of transpotration that respects man, his everyday life and needs. Concept reflects urban designing trends in 21st century.

Abstract:
The goal of the diploma thesis is to design a form of redeveloped urban area adjacent to the historical city centre of Brno. The design follows the tradition of the compact city and its development from the medieval age until the 19th century. Mixed functions, preference of non-motorised and public transport, vital shopping streets with greenery, permeability and spaces without barriers are characteristics for the proposed city of short distances. The design has its own distinctive approach to the plot, conceptually differing from the valid local development plan. I do not believe that the important animating impulse for the underdeveloped district of Brno-Zábrdovice should consist of tearing down existing buildings and replacing them with a new thoroughfare duplicating the internal city ring road.

Abstract:
The subject of the diploma thesis is “Rehabilitation of the historical center and the surrounding neighborhoods in Kyjov with main focus on public space”. Urbanistic solution covers an area in close distance from the Masaryk Square, where the effort is to offer housing in the newly designed residential district. Diploma thesis also contains a design for completion and increase of capacity of the social services complex which is adjacent to the park by Saint Josef Chapel. This park is a part of the urbanistic design as well. The studied area is bordered by the streets of Újezd, Dobrovského, Dvořákova, Klvaňova, Brandlova and Palackého třída. Although Kyjov is situated mostly on plains the studied area is in a hilly and disunited part of the city. Buildings in this area are rather low-rise and mainly used for housing purposes. The design is focused on offering varied housing, which relates to the existing buildings and develops unused public space. Scope of this diploma thesis also contains a vision for the year 2070. The vision focuses on an area currently with high-rise blocks of flats. This area is adjacent to the newly designed residential district.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis is focused on the rehabilitation of adjacent surroundings of the historical center of Kyjov and revitalizing public spaces. Part of the thesis are the analysis of the current condition of the solved and affected area, problems evaluation and values of the territory and draft of a new building structure along with a working transport solution. The main criterion for the choice of the area to be solved for me was the problem of this locality with conjunction to industry area of the mills and a very small percentage of the quality of the territory. The mill site occupies almost a quarter of the area and together with surrounding buildings, makes a large impassable barrier in the city. The draft seeks to respond to the functioning state of the site and to rehabilitate the surrounding environment. Another factor for the selection of the territory was the unused potential of the river side Kyjovka flowing through the area. This area hides many other problems and there is no quality architecture. My task was to combine all aspects of the area and make the most of it for the draft. A new functional neighborhood of housing with public spaces and amenities is being designed on the area. The draft include 2 new streets, 4 public spaces, pedestrian zone, Kyjovka riverside, 45 new buildings and 10 reconstructed buildings. The concept of the area also concerns the transfer of the existing main railway station. The draft is also aimed on the main problem of Kyjov, as a growing age population, the poor quality of services and commuting to work.
