This study deals with the situation of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 1868. Particular attention was given to the activities of the different ‘schools’ of the Institute, analysing both the statistical data and the programs prepared by professors. Two volumes published in 2016, edited by Nico Stringa, on the Academy of Fine Arts have been particularly valuable to reconstruct those topics, as well as the archival material present within the Academy itself. Finally, the points of continuity and discontinuity with the academic years of the first half of the 19th century were highlighted.

The fine arts artist Liudmyla Kozhokar had professional studies in Ukraine: the Arts Studio in Kherson (1975–1978) and the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute „I. Fyodorov” in Lvov (1978–1983).
