To examine this, the research takes an international relations approach to measure power in terms of a state’s ability to influence other states. Three aspects that this research focuses on are wealth, land power, and international influence. These characteristics separate hegemons, global, middle, and regional powers. Brazil’s rise to global power started with instituting neoliberal reform, which produced the economic growth over the last 20 years, and has translated into the a

The importance of increasing renewable energy production to facilitate a sustainable energy transition has been well-discussed and reinforced worldwide. In land- and resource-scarce and tropical Singapore, solar has been deemed the most feasible renewable energy technology for the country moving forward. The Russian Orthodox Church is seeking to reestablish a leadership role in the spiritual health of the citizenry in post-Communist Russia via a concerted effort to forge an alliance with the Russian government, regardless of the secular constitution. Commencing with perceived preferential legislation, the Church has risen to heightened influence that is subsequently being used to disenfranchise non-traditional sexual communities. This paper offers an extensive cross-examination of legislation and intersectionality that highlights the incongruities of this alliance via international, federal,
