Abstract:
Scholars usually consider the Hittite mythological and epic texts to reflect the narrative traditions of Anatolia, Mesopotamia and Syria, the same as could be said for many other elements of the Hittite culture. Despite the epic texts found in the Hittite archives are often labeled to be foreign or translated literature, the Hittite scribes worked a lot to adapt them to their own worldview. The paper will discuss the temporal aspect of these texts to understand the peculiarities of the Hittite time perception. These texts show little attention to small units of time like day. Two of the several rock script panels found at Mt. Tenezara volcano slope, Lanzarote Is. (Canary Islands) have been analyzed. Both of them contain a linear writing which corresponds to the ancient Iberian semi-sillabary discovered by Gomez-Moreno in 1949 AD, thus to Iberian-Guanche inscriptions which previously were referred as Latin. Ancient Iberian scripts have been found in France, Portugal, Spain and other Mediterranean places during the 1st millennium BC and the following four centuries AD; it may be possible that Iberian signs could have been taken or used at the same time at Africa. This paper focuses on applying the Monte Carlo approach to option pricing in markets with illiquid assets. Anomalous sub-diffusion is a well-known model for describing such markets when relatively long periods without any trading are observed. For constructing sub-diffusive models we need to replace a calendar time t with some stochastic processes S(t), which is called inverse subordinator. The inverse subordinator S(t) means first hitting time and is based on subordinator processes. In this paper, we propose to use the gamma process as a subordinator for Bashelie sub-diffusion model. Fractional calculus extends classical calculus by allowing differentiation and integration of non-integer orders, providing valuable tools for analyzing complex systems. In this part of the paper we demonstrate the main methods of fractional calculus, including Euler’s, Riemann-Liouville, and Caputo approaches. The behavior of functions such as xn, eλx, and sin(x) is analyzed for fractional orders, demonstrating how fractional differentiation results in varying patterns of growth and decay. The second part explores the application of fractal derivatives in financial mathematics. The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the pantheon concept in Belarusian mythology. The author considers the pantheon not as a set of a certain number of gods, but as a separate mythological plot ‘council (assembly) of gods’. In the of the Indo-European mythologies (Hittite, Indo-Iranian, Greek, Roman, Scandinavian, Baltic) the concept of pantheon is conveyed by the typical formula ‘all gods’, while the number of gods, their names and individual features are not essential characteristics. Based on Belarusian folklore, first of all, ritual and spells, the author highlights the motifs

Each certainty is as carelessly dropped as it was once carelessly assumed. The sounds of lower Manhattan that used to serve as white noise for residents—sirens, screeches, screams—are no longer signs without a referent. The nature of the administration of sacred time in Hittite Anatolia represents a complex problem, which has received little attention until recent years. This paper provides an overview of the topic, reconsidering the Hittite religious calendar as a whole and analysing some of the main issues connected with the Hittite calendrical system, such as the problem of the beginning of the year, the lunar nature of the Hittite month and the alleged existence of a system of intercalation.

This chapter examines the relation between the richly attested festival culture of Hittite Anatolia and Greece. The closest to Greek festivals are the local Hittite festivals described in cult inventories, where we get a sense of communal celebration. The big state festivals seem less close, though, paradoxically, these are the ones visiting foreign delegates from place like Greece might have witnessed. The Hittites texts also attest the operation of religious network, whch have been compared to Greek amphictonies. One of the striking differences is that unlike Greek festivals and those of som
