Ayaz İshakî, 23 Şubat 1878 tarihinde Kazan’da doğmuş, medrese eğitimi sonrası Tatar Öğretmen Okuluna devam etmiştir. Eser vermeye bu dönemde başlayan İshakî, hayatı boyunca pek çok gazete ve dergi çıkarmış; ayrıca piyes, hikâye, roman vb. eserler yazmıştır. 22 Temmuz 1954 tarihinde Ankara’da vefat etmiştir. Gazeteci, yazar, siyasetçi kimlikleri olan İshakî, bir dönem sosyalizme meyletmiş ancak gelişmeler onun istediği gibi olmadığı için yönünü değiştirmiştir. Hoca Imam Mosque was built in the second quarter of the 14th century, during the Eretna Principality Period.
