Abstract:
In der expressionistischen Lyrik kann man einen ersten großen Bruch in den Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Natur beobachten. In expressionistischen Gedichten, wie z.B. in Weltende von Jakob van Hoddis, werden die menschliche Angst und das Mißtrauen vor dem von der industriellen Revolution gebrachten Fortschritt auf eine schockierende Weise, d.h. durch apokalyptische Bilder, ausgedrückt.Diese Thematik der Naturzerstörung wird in den 80er Jahren auf eine emphatische Weise wiederaufgenommen. Es handelt sich jetzt um eine Naturzerstörung durch die moderne, oder besser: post-moderne, Technologie, d.h. um einem zweiten großen Bruch in den Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Natur. Unter anderen Sarah Kirsch widmet sich der Aufgabe, die beschädigte Welt von heute, d.h. die betonierte Landschaft, die vergifteten Wälder, Flüsse, und die Verschmutzung der Luft, in Gedichten zu gestalten.

Abstract:
Zusammenfassung. Friedrich Hölderlin und die drei expressionistischen Dichter Trakl, Heym und Stadler haben den “Wahnsinn“ in seiner transzendentalen Ausrichtung gestaltet, Hölderlin und Trakl als selber Betroffene. Auch ‘Irrenhaus‘ von Stadler bezeugt die Begegnung mit den Kranken, denen “Himmel aufgetan“ ist. Der Wert des Kranken läßt sich nicht bemessen, sondern wird als seine unveräußerliche Würde erkannt und geachtet. Dabei hilft dem Arzt und Therapeuten eine “Poetisierung des Wahnsinns“ im Sinne von E. T. A. Hoffmann, die zugleich ein Leitfaden der Behandlung ist. Wie nahe Geist und Ungeist beieinanderliegen und einer ganz persönlichen Entscheidung bedürfen, erweist das Schicksal des jüdischen Dichters und Patienten Jakob van Hoddis. Gleichzeitig analysierte Gottfried Benn mit einem “Bekenntnis zum Expressionismus“ die auch heute nicht ungefährliche Verquickung von Funktionalismus, Rassismus und automatisiertem Wirtschafts- und Finanzbetrieb mit dem Menschen als Produkt. “... frappante Sentenz von Ford ...: erst die Autos ins Land, dann entstehen auch Straßen ...“ ( Benn 1933 ).

Abstract:
Expressionistische Lyrik lebt von einer Durchdringung von Gefühlsraum und Raumgefühl. Sie verströmt und realisiert sich in der Metropole – meist Berlin. Diese Durchdringung ist die Voraussetzung dafür, die produktive Reibung des lyrischen Ichs mit der Asphalt- und Maschinenwelt der Stadt zu bewerkstelligen und dabei eine mentale Topologie zu entwickeln. Das historische Feld des deutschen literarischen Expressionismus wird mittels zweier Achsen sondiert: Erstens handelt es sich um eine emotionshistorische Erkundung der frühexpressionistischen Berliner Dichtergruppe des ‚Neopathetischen Cabarets‘ um Kurt Hiller, Georg Heym und Jacob van Hoddis als marginalisierter emotionaler Gemeinschaft. Zweitens wird mit Hilfe gendertheoretischer Überlegungen eine für diese Gruppe typische und spezifische ‚Protestmaskulinität‘, die gegen das wilheminische Ideal soldatischer Männlichkeit gerichtet war, als ‚affektive Maskulinität‘ interpretiert.

Abstract:
La thèse porte sur les représentations du corps dans la poésie expressionniste allemande et autrichienne avant 1914. Elle s'appuie sur l'œuvre des poètes Jakob Van Hoddis, August Stramm et Georg Trakl. Elle montre que leurs poèmes constituent des réponses à un même problème fondamental au début du XXe siècle : la remise en question du langage et de sa capacité à représenter le réel. Le thème du corps permet de mener une étude transversale qui situe ces œuvres dans un même cadre : le début de la modernité littéraire. Il cristallise en effet les principales ruptures du début du XXe siècle, tant sur le plan de l'expérience concrète du quotidien, que sur les plans de l'esthétique et de l'histoire des idées (vitalisme, psychanalyse). L'homme redéfinit le sujet, son rapport au monde, sa démarche vis-à-vis du sens et de l'œuvre d'art. La quantité et la variété des images du corps dans les œuvres expressionnistes témoignent du bouleversement du rapport entre subjectivité, environnement et écriture
This doctoral thesis deals with the representations of the body in German and Austrian expressionist poetry before 1914. It is based upon the works of the poets Jakob Van Hoddis, August Stramm and Georg Trakl. It shows that their poems represent answers to the same fundamental problem at the beginning of the 20th century – they question the language and its ability to represent reality. The theme of the body allows to make a transversal study which locates this works in a single framework – the beginning of literary modernity. Indeed, it reflects the main ruptures of the beginning of the 20th century, be it on the level of real everyday experience or on the level of aestheticism and of the history of ideas (vitalism, psychoanalysis). Man redefine the subject, its relation to the world, its approach to meaning and the work of art. The quantity and variety of the images of the body in the expressionist works testify to the upheaval of the relationship between subjectivity, environment and writing

Abstract:
Jakob van Hoddis, Georg Trakl together with Else Lasker-Schüler belong to the leading representatives of early expressionist poetry. This thesis deals with translation analysis of their selected poems into the Czech language. The first part of the thesis describes the birth, evolution and essential ideas of expressionism, but also significant centres of literary course of events of that period and reception of expressionism in Bohemia and Moravia. The issue of artistic translation is further outlined with focus on the question of equivalence. The second part of the thesis includes analysis of selected poems, which are ordered according to the author and date of issue. One chapter is devoted to each poet, it briefly introduces his life to help point out aspects which have influenced his production, followed by analysis of poems that document the circumstances of their creation and comparisons of their translations. Key words: expressionist poetry, translation analysis, Jakob van Hoddis, Georg Trakl, Else Lasker-Schüler
