AbstractWe use Hodge theoretic methods to study homotopy types of complex projective manifolds with arbitrary fundamental groups. The main tool we use is the schematization functor$X \mapsto (X\otimes \mathbb {C})^{\mathrm {sch}}$, introduced by the third author as a substitute for the rationalization functor in homotopy theory in the case of non-simply connected spaces. Our main result is the construction of a Hodge decomposition on $(X\otimes \mathbb {C})^{\mathrm {sch}}$. This Hodge decomposition is encoded in an action of the discrete group $\mathbb {C}^{\times \delta }$ on the object $(X\

In this thesis we study several generalisations of the Griffiths’s residue technique. We first show how the deformation modules Ti of the affine cone over a smooth projective variety X contain the Hodge groups of X as homogeneous slices. We discuss several applications, mainly in the Birational Geometry of Q-Fano threefolds. We then investigate the case of subvarieties of the Grassmannian Gr(k, n). For an hypersurfaces (or a complete intersection) X in the Grassmannian Gr(k, n) we are able to explicitly construct a Griffiths ring that allows us to compute all the Hodge groups Hp,q(X). We then

In the present work, we analyse the categories of mixed Hodge complexes and mixed Hodge diagrams of differential graded algebras in these two directions: we prove the existence of both a Cartan-Eilenberg structure, via the construction of cofibrant minimal models, and a cohomological descent structure. This allows to interpret the results of Deligne, Beilinson, Morgan and Navarro within a common homotopical framework. In the additive context of mixed Hodge complexes we recover Beilinson's results. In our study we go a little further and show that the homotopy category of mixed Hodge complex

Abstract Solutions of the Linearized Euler Equations (LEE) are composed of acoustic, entropy and vortical perturbation types. The excitation of the latter can be provoked by a transformation of acoustic into rotational energy, which originates from the interaction between acoustics and a mean flow shear-layer. This is known as acoustically induced vortex shedding and represents the phenomenon of interest in this study. In the field of thermoacoustics, numerical eigenfrequency simulations with the LEE have moved into focus to determine the acoustic damping rates associated with vortex shedding
