Abstract:
Tato stať se na základě dat z European Values Study (výběrové reprezentativní soubory 1991, 1999 a 2008) zabývá hodnotou práce v české společnosti v současné době i posunem, kterým hodnota práce a jejich aspektů prošly od roku 1991, kdy se Česká republika poprvé ocitla mezi evropskými společnostmi zkoumanými v rámci tohoto longitudinálního výzkumu, až k datu poslední vlny v roce 2008. Ukazuje, jak je populace České republiky segmentována z hlediska hodnoty, kterou přisuzuje práci s ohledem na hodnotu dalších sfér života (volný čas, sociální sítě, náboženství či politika), a z hlediska důležitosti, jaká je přisuzována jednotlivým aspektům práce (a s ohledem na vybrané sociálně demografické charakteristiky jednotlivých segmentů).

Abstract:
Diskuze o právnickém vzdělávání se často soustředí na znalosti a dovednosti, které by si studenti měli osvojovat. Hodnoty většinou zůstávají mimo pozornost, a pokud už se o nich hovoří, obvykle není zřejmé, co přesně se jimi myslí. Jedná se totiž o pojem neurčitý, se kterým různí autoři spojují různé obsahy, což debatu o posilování významu hodnot v procesu přípravy budoucích právníků značně ztěžuje. Aby bylo možné se hodnotami blíže zabývat, je klíčové porozumět tomu, co hodnoty v právnickém vzdělávání znamenají. Článek se proto v první části zabývá tím, jak se osvojování hodnot v právnickém vzdělávání v České republice promítá, a to za pomoci analýzy koncepčních dokumentů právnických fakult i jejich neoficiálních prezentací. Druhá část představuje vlastní kategorizaci významu pojmu hodnoty v právnickém vzdělávání. Je totiž důležité o hodnotách v právnickém vzdělávání přemýšlet a rozdělení užívání daného pojmu do pěti různých překrývajících se kategorií má sloužit k tomu, aby bylo možné o hodnotách v souvislosti s právnickým vzděláváním uvažovat konkrétněji.

Abstract:
In today's highly competitive environment, the success of a company is often determined by the right brand management and by efforts to continuously improve the brand value. It is therefore an essential task of marketing. But determining the value of the brand is a very difficult task and it is of interest to both theoretical research and marketing practice. Submitted thesis provides an overview of the current state of knowledge about this very important issue both in terms of leading authors from the scientific and academic communities and in terms of marketing practice in the form of models of specialized agencies. Thus formed synthesis can then be used by academics in the orientation of their future research and also by marketing managers to evaluate the effectiveness of approaches currently being used. For this purpose, marketing managers can also use case studies in each chapter, which show the issue on the specific example of successful companies. Qualitative expert research among managers of successful international companies can serve the same goal. Managers of small and medium-sized enterprises can apply a formalized model of the growth of a brand, which is very intuitive and does not require deeper knowledge of mathematics. The last chapter presents the results of primary quantitative research, which focused on the issue of the relationship between social networks and branding in the Czech Republic.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the value of the construction company GOSTAS Ltd. according to yield-based valuation methods. The theoretical part uses literature and internet sources to describe basic concept of valuation companies. It specifies the procedure of determining value, describes the most common methods of valuation and reasons for valuation are mentioned too. The practical part is about valuation of the company GOSTAS Ltd. Company is firstly briefly introduced and afterwards simplified strategic and financial analysis are carried out. Based on the results of these analysis is created financial plan according to which is determined the value by using the methods of economic value added and discounted cash flow. At the end of diploma thesis the final value of the company is determined on 1.1. 2015.

Cílem disertační práce je vyvinutí metody oceňování dobrovolné práce. Zkoumání byly podrobeny již existující postupy zjišťování hodnoty dobrovolné práce. Na základě empirického výzkumu a statistické analýzy práce přináší originální metodu, která se odvíjí z úplných nákladů práce a reflektuje výskyt dobrovolných prací. Hlavní praktický problém, jímž je neaktuálnost oceňovacích metod, se podařilo vyřešit vztažením k oficiální míře růstu důchodů.

Abstract:
Primárním cílem diplomové práce bylo analyzovat a posoudit strategické investiční rozhodování firmy Lázně Poděbrady a.s. aplikací reálně opční metodologie. Samotné aplikaci reálných opcí na konkrétní investiční projekt předcházela v teoreticko-metodologické části důkladná analýza a syntéza odborné literatury, ale i hledání metodologie, která by mohla být na daný projekt aplikována. Oblastem aplikace reálných opcí, které jsou v praxi často označovány za nejkomplikovanější, jsem věnovala zvýšenou pozornost. Velký důraz jsem dala zejména na analýzu nejistot obsažených v projektu, identifikaci relevantních opcí a zjištění adekvátní míry volatility. Pečlivě stanovené vstupní opční parametry by měly být garancí správných opčních hodnot. Aplikací citlivostní analýzy opcí jsem se snažila upřesnit interpretaci zjištěných výsledků a závěrečných doporučení pro společnost.

Secondary forests cover approximately one third of the 0.5 million km2 of the Brazilian Amazon that have been cleared for agriculture (Houghton et al. 2000, Fearnside and Guimarães 1996). These forests counteract many of the deleterious impacts of forest conversion to agriculture and cattle pasture. They absorb carbon from the atmosphere, they reestablish hydrological functions performed by mature forests, and they reduce the flammability of agricultural landscapes. Secondary forests transfer nutrients from the soil to living biomass, thereby reducing the potential losses of nutrients from the land through leaching and erosion. They also allow the expansion of native plant and animal populations from mature forest remnants back into agricultural landscapes. The study of forest recovery has focused on aboveground processes, primarily biomass accumulation. The few studies that have examined the recovery of belowground functions in Amazon secondary forests have been restricted to the upper meter or less of soil (e.g. Buschbacher et al. 1988). A review of our knowledge of secondary forest recovery is needed that incorporates accumulating evidence that approximately half of the region’s forests rely upon root systems extending to depths of several meters to maintain evapotranspiration during prolonged seasonal drought (Nepstad et al. 1994, Jipp et al. 1998, Nepstad et al. 1999a, Hodnett et al. 1997; see also Richter and Markewitz 1995). This discovery demands a conceptual shift in our approach to forest recovery on abandoned land. Are secondary forests capable of regrowing deep root systems, thereby recovering hydrologic functions and fire resistance of the mature forest? At what rate does this recovery take place? How does this ability to tap a large soil volume change our thinking about the role that nutrient shortages play in restricting secondary forest recovery? In this chapter, we begin to address these questions with the goal of furthering a mechanistic understanding of forest recovery on abandoned Amazonian lands. Our analysis focuses on three measures of secondary forest development: biomass accumulation, nutrient accumulation, and hydrological recovery. We choose biomass accumulation, because it is the best integrative measure of secondary forest development, it is the basis for estimates of carbon sequestration by secondary forests, and it is the most frequently measured secondary forest parameter.

Abstract:
Koncept Průmysl 4.0 dostal svůj název podle čtvrté průmyslové revoluce, která právě probíhá. Vznikl před pár lety v Německu a jeho posláním je řešit situaci, kterou způsobila čtvrtá průmyslová revoluce, kterou zcela evidentně vyvolal internet a digitalizace. Zatímco předchozí etapa digitalizace přinesla do průmyslu počítače a roboty, čtvrtá průmyslová revoluce je mezi sebou propojila a naučila je komunikovat. Podniky na tento vývoj musí být připraveny a jejich připravenost a zralost hodnotí modely připravenosti. Nalezené modely jsou analyzovány a porovnávány a jsou hlavním předmětem teoretické části článku. Právě nový model připravenosti je hlavní náplní tohoto článku a záměrem je představit nástroj pro komplexní hodnocení interní logistiky, která obsahuje klíčové procesy jako je interní manipulace, skladování nebo balení. Interní logistika má tedy v rámci tohoto konceptu velký potenciál a představuje pro logistiku příležitosti pro růst a rozvoj. Nicméně důležité je znát současnou úroveň na základě diagnostiky a k tomu slouží právě navržený model.
