This research project demonstrates the technosocial possibilities that result from creating localized mediated spaces or ‘meshworks’ using Bluetooth in order to publish independently produced content. Bluetooth technology is a double-edged sword. It is a meshwork for sharing media freely between mobile device users in public places such as shopping centres and private spaces such as the home and the workplace. Abstract:
This paper fills the gap in the research undertaken into the entrepreneurial orientation of franchisees. The study identifies entrepreneurial orientation within a defined franchise system, using the entrepreneurial character theme matrix developed by Thompson (2002). Research methodology comprises the survey approach, using electronic media and Surveypro analysis (Dillman, 2000). Hypothesis tests highlight the absence of statistically significant entrepreneurial orientation in the franchise system, despite a significant orientation in a multiple-outlet proposition analysis. Conclusions and recommendations include mobilising and communicating the action factors associated with entrepreneurial orientation, involving all franchisees within the system. Managerial implications include the motivation of developing multiple-outlet franchise systems. Future research involves broadening the data set across industries and borders.

Abstract:
Rescuing data from inaccessible or damaged storage media for the purpose of preserving the digital data for the long term is one of the dimensions of digital archaeology. With the current pace of technological development, any system can become obsolete in a matter of years and hence the data stored in a specific storage media might not be accessible anymore due to the unavailability of the system to access the media. In order to preserve digital records residing in such storage media, it is necessary to extract the data stored in those media by some means.One early storage medium for home computers in the 1980s was audio tape. The first home computer systems allowed the use of standard cassette players to record and replay data. Audio cassettes are more durable than old home computers when properly stored. Devices playing this medium (i.e. tape recorders) can be found in working condition or can be repaired, as they are usually made out of standard components. By re-engineering the format of the waveform and the file formats, the data on such media can then be extracted from a digitised audio stream and migrated to a non-obsolete format.In this paper we present a case study on extracting the data stored on an audio tape by an early home computer system, namely the Philips Videopac+ G7400. The original data formats were re-engineered and an application was written to support the migration of the data stored on tapes without using the original system. This eliminates the necessity of keeping an obsolete system alive for enabling access to the data on the storage media meant for this system. Two different methods to interpret the data and eliminate possible errors in the tape were implemented and evaluated on original tapes, which were recorded 20 years ago. Results show that with some error correction methods, parts of the tapes are still readable even without the original system. It also implies that it is easier to build solutions while original systems are still available in a working condition.

Dengan metode ini, perangkat-perangkat elektronik rumah dapat di kontrol mengunakan sistem kendali jarak jauh tanpa harus menyetuh perangkat elektronik yang ada di rumah. Raspberry Pi digunakan sebagai pemroses untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem. Raspberry Pi merupakan mini computer yang fungsi-fungsi dasarnya sama seperti sebuah personal komputer biasa dengan ukuran sebesar kartu kredit. Raspberry Pi dapat mengontrol perangkat-perangkat elektronik yang berada di rumah dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas GPIO (General Purpose Input Output). Perangkat elektronika yang dapat di control meliputi lampu, kipas angin, suhu ruangan, kamera pengintai dan masih banyak lagi. Perancangan sistem meliputi perancangan alat untuk sistem kontrol arus di mana mengunakan Raspberry Pi untuk mengontrol 6 buah lampu, kipas sensor suhu, sensor motion dan 1 buah adaptor atau kontak saklar dengan memanfaatkan Relay 8 chanel sebagai penghubung dan juga sebagai saklar on / off. Tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan mengambungkan perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras untuk menghasilkan sistem control dengan menghubungkan web server sebagai media interface dan yang terakhir uji coba sistem yang di bangun. Sistem yang di bangun akan menjadi sistem kontrol perangkat elektronik rumah dengan implementasinya menyalakan dan mematikan lampu, mengecek suhu ruangan ,menyalakan kipas dan monitoring keadaan rumah dengaan memanfaatkan web server yang di tanam di dalam raspberry pi sebagai media interface user berupa web yang akan di akses user mengunakan smartphone atau komputer. Dengan ini sistem yang di bangun akan sangat membantu pengguna dalam melakukan pengontrolan perangkat elektronik rumah dimanapun pengguna berada dan menghemat daya listrik. Kata Kunci : Home Automation, Smarthome, Raspberry Pi.

Selling activity is conventionally run through offering the product to stores, market and also through retailer. Its affects the sale to be limited only nearby region of Malang. Promotion strategy also limited by using brochure and participating either local or national fair which is organized by goverment. Development of microprocessor technology provides new ideas for creating smart devices, one of which is in the field of smart home. Smart home is a concept of a home integrated with a smart system and supported by technology that enables all work to be more effective and efficient. Mirror is a household device that is beneficial to humans. In this paper, a research on smart mirrors is explained. A smart mirror is a mirror integrated with an intelligent system so that it can display multimedia data originating from the internet using Raspberry as a computing tool, PIR sensor as a tool to control monitors, and DC fans as a tool to control temperature system. In this paper, the mirror was able to display information about time, weather, academic calendar, lab work schedules, prayer schedules, and academic news. A PIR sensor has a good accuracy when the device is placed at 180 cm above the ground and the distance between mirror and humans when mirroring is 70 cm. A DC fan was utilized to stabilize the system temperature in a range of 40 to 50 oC.

Aktivitas di dalam rumah merupakan rutinitas yang menuntut alokasi waktu yang cukup lama, banyak aktivitas yang dilakukan diruangan ini. Perkembangan teknologi memberi banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan. Perubahannya salalu memberi nilai menjadi lebih baik, seperti diantaranya adalah memberikan kemudahan dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi adalah sistem rumah pintar (smart home system) yang bisa diterapkan di kehidupan sehari-hari. Sistem rumah pintar (smart home system) adalah alat yang mampu dan bisa bekerja secara otomatis berdasarkan inputan dimana kali ini inputan diproses melalui web dan secara program tertanam juga dalam Arduino. Wifi sebagai media komunikasi untuk mengirimkan data atau masukan dari aplikasi web berfungsi sebagai alat untuk mengendalikan peralatan rumah dari jarak jauh. Secara umum, kontrol peralatan rumah saat ini masih bekerja secara manual sehingga kurang efektif, tujuan perancangan sistem rumah pintar ini adalah untuk membuat alat yang bisa membantu orang untuk melakukan aktivitas di rumah yaitu mengendalikan peralatan rumah menggunakan smartphone secara otomatis melalui aplikasi web pada O.S android dengan menerapkan Internet of Things. Internet of Things (IoT) telah berkembang dengan cepat seiring berkembangnya perangkat smartphone dan sensor cerdas. Istilah IoT mengacu pada konektivitas jaringan dengan kemampuan cerdas, bertukar dan mengkonsumsi data dengan campur tangan manusia yang sangat sedikit. Dalam tulisan ini, kami memperkenalkan desain sistem smart home IoT berdasarkan aplikasi web serta pada aplikasi handphone O.S android dengan menerapkan sistem prototipe berbasis Arduino.

In addition to accurate, fast, and easy information, the information conveyed must be packaged in an attractive manner. Arwana Home Industry sales system is by telephone or sms and not online, to promote it only from mouth to mouth. The sales system in this way requires a long time in the sales process, so this system is considered less effective and efficient. If you only rely on the sales system in this way, the Home Industry entrepreneur's income will not experience a significant increase. In addition, the development of this home industry is considered to be a bit slow. Therefore, an online sales system using web or internet media will be designed with the aim of minimizing the sales process time with the aim of increasing sales volume so that the income of this home industry can increase and customers can order products without having to come directly to the Arwana Home Industry. Abstrak Sistem Informasi memegang peran yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan bisnis di suatu perusahaan. Teknologi informasi mendorong banyak manusia untuk menciptakan inovasi-inovasi baru untuk membantu manusia dalam mendapatkan informasi dengan cepat dan mudah. Perkembangan usaha perdagangan yang pesat menjadikan informasi sebagai hal yang sangat penting peranannya dalam menunjang jalannya operasi-operasi demi tercapainya tujuan yang diinginkan oleh pengusaha. Teknologi internet sudah terbukti merupakan salah satu media informasi yang efektif dan efisien dalam penyebaran informasi yang dapat diakses oleh siapa saja, kapan saja dan dimana saja. Begitu halnya dengan Home Industri Arwana, sebuah Home Industri harus dapat membuat layanan informasi dan promosi dengan baik untuk menarik perhatian konsumen. Disamping informasi yang akurat, cepat, dan mudah, informasi yang disampaikan harus dikemas dengan menarik. System penjualan Home Industri Arwana adalah dengan cara telpon atau sms dan belum secara online, untuk mempromosikannya hanya dari mulut kemulut. Sistem penjualan dengan cara ini membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam proses penjualan, maka sistem ini dinilai kurang efektif dan efesien. Jika hanya mengandalkan sistem penjualan dengan cara tersebut maka pendapatan pengusaha Home Industri ini tidak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Selain itu perkembangan home industri ini terasa dinilai agak lambat. Oleh karena itu akan dirancang suatu sistem penjualan secara online dengan menggunakan media web atau internet dengan tujuan untuk meminimalkan waktu proses penjualan dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan volume penjualan sehingga pendapatan home industri ini dapat meningkat dan pelanggan dapat melalukan pemesanan produk tanpa harus datang langsung ke Home Industri Arwana

Home Industry Shoes is one of the SMEs that are engaged in the production and sale of shoes. Shoes SMEs in marketing and sales have been still relying on customers from surrounding areas of production activities. Current business competition is stringent, thus making SME shoes demanded to be more advanced in marketing and sales to be able to stay afloat. Shoes SMEs have problems with promotional media and sales, which does not yet have an independent online sales system. Therefore, the authors feel the need to help SMEs by creating an online sales information system that can be used as a promotional media as well as a media for selling independently and easy to use. In this study, the authors apply the incremental method in system development and also observation in gathering data on the needs of the system developed. Achievements in this study, the authors, produce an online sales information system for SMEs, in particular, the production of home industry shoes that can be used independently by SMEs to carry out promotions and sales online.

Smart home is a prime research interest among researchers around the globe due to the fact that it offers ample features to make people’s life effortless and efficient. People can lead their life smartly through the use of smart home technology [17]. There are numerous communication systems in both wired and wireless media exist that are used in smart home technology. However, not a single communication system itself can satisfy all the demands of secure, comfort and intelligent smart home system. Wireless communication is flexible, requires negligible number of instruments, cheap and easy to install but the key concerning issue for wireless communication system in smart home technology is the slow data rate. In contrast, wired communication provides better performance through the provision of higher data rate and uninterrupted connectivity; however, consumers have to pay substantial amount of payment for smart home services [3]. Therefore, it is essential for researchers to analyze both wired and wireless communication system in terms of data rate and area of coverage in order to find out the right communication system for right feature of smart home system. In this paper, authors reviewed and analyzed both wired and wireless communication methods that are commonly used in smart home technology. It can be seen after careful analysis that for majority of the services of smart home system can get better result through the use of wireless communication system even though wired communication system offers better data rate and greater coverage.
