Abstract:
Postoje studentů k jejich odlišně orientovaným nebo genderově nestereotypním vrstevníkům jsou tématem celé řady cizojazyčných studií. Nejčastěji však byl řešen kontext terciárního vzdělávání, který poukázal nejen na nutnost se ostrakizací odlišně orientovaných studentů zabývat, ale prokázal i mnohé determinanty, které se ukázaly jako významné při tvorbě negativních postojů vůči homosexuálům. Předkládaná studie se zabývá výzkumem postojů žáků nižšího sekundárního vzdělávání k homosexualitě. V teoretické části poukazujeme na historický kontext vývoje předsudků vůči homosexualitě a věnujeme se rovněž úvodem do již proběhlých studií a výzkumů postojům k homosexualitě na různých stupních vzdělávání. Následně je předkládáno výzkumné šetření, v rámci kterého bylo pomocí standardizovaného dotazníku osloveno 316 žáků 8. a 9. tříd či tercie a kvarty na víceletých gymnáziích. I když jsou výsledky v průměru pozitivní, více než 7 % žáků stále zastává vysoce až extrémně negativní postoje k homosexuálům. Statistická významnost byla prokázána pro proměnnou pohlaví (muži zastávají negativnější postoje; hladina účinku 26 %), druh homosexuality (mužská homosexualita je vnímána negativněji) či typ navštěvované školy (žáci základních škol zastávají negativnější postoje).

 Denna artikel är en undersökning av processen när skådespelaren Gustaf Fredrikson (1832–1921), populärt kallad Frippe, blev homosexuell. På 1880-talet blev han informellt outad i brev och ett decennium senare offentligt, genom teck- ningar och texter i satiriska tidskrifter. I artikeln används motsatsparet manligt och omanligt i kombination med begreppet skev som teoretiska verktyg. Denna artikel undersöker övergången från en position där en man som har en skev sexu- alitet betraktas som omanlig, till en position där han definieras som homosexuell med feminina konnotationer. Jag hävdar att en universellt accepterad mall för hur homosexuella män skulle vara, som också var homofobisk, etablerades i Sverige under 1880-talet och första hälften av 1890-talet. Artikeln har flera syften: att skapa ny kunskap om förändringen av diskursen kring homosexualitet i Sverige i slutet av 1800-talet och att skapa ny kunskap om Gustaf Fredrikson som pionjär inom en växande homosexuell subkultur i det förra sekelskiftets Stockholm.

Abstract:
Cílem studie je zhodnotit postoje studentů pedagogicky orientovaných studijních programů k homosexualitě a zjistit, čím jsou ovlivněny. V příspěvku je argumentován význam tématu v rámci pedagogiky, podán přehled závěrů vybraných českých a zahraničních výzkumů vztahujících se k problematice postojů heterosexuálů k homosexualitě. Dále jsou prezentovány cíle, metodologie a poznatky z vlastního výzkumného šetření. V závěru jsou prezentována doporučení pro pregraduální vzdělávání budoucích pedagogů a podány návrhy pro další výzkum. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit postoje studentů pedagogicky orientovaných studijních programů k homosexualitě. Použitým výzkumným nástrojem byl dotazník Kiteové a Deauxové – Homosexuality Attitude Scale (Cronbachovo alfa = 0,91). Sběr dat proběhl v říjnu a listopadu 2014. Výběrový soubor je tvořen 1 140 respondenty. Studenti pedagogických studijních programů mají v průměrném hodnocení k homosexualitě poměrně pozitivní postoje (průměrné skóre HAS = 88,77 z teoretického rozmezí 12–105, nižší hodnota indikuje negativnější postoj k homosexualitě). Signifikantně negativnější postoje k homosexualitě byly zjištěny u mužů, studentů nižších ročníků studia a příslušníků římsko-katolické či jiné církve nebo náboženské společnosti. Z poznatků vyplývá potřeba formování postojů budoucích pedagogů k homosexualitě kombinací kognitivně-afektivních intervencí v rámci formálního vzdělávání.

Abstract:
In 1999, Lola und Bilidikid emerged as the creative product of Turkish-born director, Kutluğ Ataman, and provided a rare example and highly nuanced exploration of homosexuality in a Turkish-German context. This article explores the film’s representation of a group of characters marginalised not only on the level of their cultural background, but also on the level of sexual identity. Through a close analysis of the film, various demonstrations of and responses to homosexuality as a sub-culture within a patriarchal, migrant (and therefore already marginalised) group will also be explored, including particularly the notions of drag and performance. These responses will be analysed from the perspective of the protagonists, who are themselves not only both gay and of Turkish origin, but also demonstrate almost fundamentally conflicting approaches to homosexuality. This is particularly evident in the varying degrees to which they either accept or reject their own homosexuality. The article will also explore the consequences of the acceptance and rejection of their respective homosexualities and the extent to which this informs the construction and/or perpetuation of a particular performance of masculinity.

Christopher Isherwood’s engagement with Vedanta falls outside the frame of conventional readings, confronting the assumption that religion and homosexuality are mutually exclusive. Isherwood was a committed follower of Vedanta’s nondualistic philosophy (advaita), which provided a nonjudgmental basis for his spiritual aspirations. This approach was crucial for Isherwood since his acceptance of a spiritual ideal and practice was critically dependent upon how his homosexuality was accepted. Pivotal in Isherwood’s life was his relationship with Swami Prabhavananda, whose influence was as profound as that of E.M. Forster. Isherwood produced a considerable output of religious writings in his career, yet he has been neglected as a religious writer. This paper interrogates colonialist condescension towards Isherwood as a “Hindu,” typically opposing Western “reason” against Hindu “superstition.” The paper concludes by suggesting that Isherwood’s interpretation of Ramakrishna was not based upon a homosexualist hermeneutic, but rather one based on the freedom found in Guru Bhakti.

I wish that I could commend William Stacy Johnson's book, A Time to Embrace, as a rigorous and fair assessment of Christianity and homosexuality from a homosexualist perspective. Unfortunately, Johnson so regularly violates scholarly standards for honesty and accuracy in representing secondary literature, conceals from readers the most important counter-arguments to his position and shows gaps in logic, that I cannot embrace A Time to Embrace. Given space constraints, it is impossible to give a systematic presentation of the book's errors in fact or argumentation. Abstract:
The article is devoted to the literary heritage of Oles Ulianenko, who was virtually the only national author addressing LGBTQIA+ subject matter. The corporal-mimetic method was applied to analyze fiction works, which enabled us to draw a number of meaningful conclusions. On the one hand, LGBTQIA+ themes are typologically represented by a variety of images which are characterized by both an ironic dimension and dramatic pathos, interpreted not in ethical but in aesthetic terms. On the other hand, Oles Ulianenko was the first to shift homosexuality into the visible realm, and to represent the “splendors and miseries” (H. de Balzac) of homoeroticism to Ukrainian society; who, with his sexualized, homosexualized and lesbian narrative of his literary works attempted to speak of a future when his country would overcome the lack of social and sexual freedom.

Abstract:
This essay treats the subject of homosexuality in Young Adult literature, this is done by a comparative book-study from the British author Aidan Chambers book Dance on my grave (1982) and the Swedish author Anna Ahlunds book Du, bara (2016). Both books have a homosexual protagonist as their main character. Through these writers, this essay provides an insight of how the view of homosexuality is in young adult’s literature and the importance of the anti-oppressive pedagogy use in education for upper secondary school. These two books have been assayed on an anti-oppressive perspective based on homosexuality. The heteronormativity that are found around us are presented differently in the books. In Ahlund's book, the heteronormativity is created as non-existent in an alternate world, while in Chambers's book it shines through in different meetings with society and the prevailing norms. The different ways of dealing with homosexuality in relation to the outside world's norms also become interesting from a historical perspective where the acceptance and rights of gay men differ greatly. This is evidenced by the choice of words as well as the way in which homosexuality is presented. One conclusion of the essay is that conscious anti-oppressive pedagogy is important in teaching to promote equal treatment work where students are accepted for their independence from sexual orientation. By consciously using books, book reviews and work from books that raise the issue of the world’s norm critical views of homosexuals in the education. By doing so we’re able to raise the awareness of the anti-oppressive view of homosexuals and thus affecting the norm to something more positive in school and hopefully in the young adult’s everyday life after school.<br>Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet homosexualitet i ungdomslitteraturen genom en komparativ litteraturstudie som gjorts på böckerna Du, bara av svenska författaren Anna Ahlund och Dansa på min grav av brittiska Aidan Chambers. Båda böckerna behandlar protagonister som är homosexuella och uppsatsen syftar till att visa hur homosexualiteten framställs ur ett normkritiskt perspektiv. Syftet med uppsatsen är också att lyfta vikten av ett normkritiskt perspektiv i undervisningen ur ett didaktiskt perspektiv främst på gymnasienivå. Dessa två böcker har granskats utifrån ett normkritiskt perspektiv med utgångspunkt från homosexualiteten. Heteronormen som finns runt omkring oss presenteras i böckerna olika. I Ahlunds bok är heteronormen skapad som icke-existerande i en alternativ värld medan den i Chambers bok lyser igenom vid olika möten med samhället och de rådande normerna. Böckernas olika sätt att bemöta homosexualiteten i relation till omvärldens normer blir även intressant ur ett historiskt perspektiv där acceptansen och rättigheterna för homosexuella skiljer sig mycket. Detta syns såväl genom ordval som sättet homosexualiteten presenteras. En slutsats av uppsatsen är att ett medvetet normkritiskt perspektiv är viktigt i undervisningen för att främja likabehandlingsarbete där elever blir accepterade för den de är oberoende av sexuell läggning. Genom att medvetet använda böcker som lyfter normkritiska aspekter kan man genom boksamtal och arbete med böcker och texter arbeta normkritiskt och på så sätt påverka de rådande normerna till något mer positivt i skolan och förhoppningsvis även i det livslånga lärandet och livet.

Gay sexuality is seen as a great sin and consequently punishable in several countries in parts of the Muslim community’s. Homosexual persons are being subjected to related violence and dignity because of the expression of their gender, sexuality or honorary norms. The purpose of this paper is to find out how homosexual Muslims living in the city of Umeå unite their sexual orientation with their beliefs and see if they believe Islam as a religious obstacle   or if there are other cultural phenomena that prevent them from ”coming out”   The result of this study shows that the majority of the interviewed people do not see religion as an obstacle to their sexual orientation, by questioning the hadith statements of trust. Respondents argue that Hadith literature came a long way after the death of Prophet Muhammad. The majority of the interviewed claims that the Hadith literature is human constructions that were written down long after the death of Prophet Muhammad.

<p>Ett av mina syften med denna uppsats var att titta på var dagens fördomar mot homosexuella kommer ifrån och om kyrkan fanns med någonstans i bakgrunden. Och se, det var den. Många av dagens fördomar mot homosexualitet härstammar från kyrkans straffinförande mot detta på 500-talet. Vid denna tid dog många människor i pest och krig och för att hindra mänskligheten från att dö ut så blev det endast tillåtet med sex mellan man och kvinna, inom äktenskapet, eftersom detta kunde leda till ökat antal födslar. Dagens församlingar förhåller sig olika till homosexualitet: alltifrån totalt avståndstagande till accepterande, det vanligaste är nog ett accepterande av personen men endast om han/hon inte alltför öppet visar sin läggning. Det har tagit tusentals år att etablera dessa fördomar så de går inte att riva ner över en natt.</p><p>Mitt andra syfte var att titta på hur kyrkan förhåller sig till homosexuella personer och förhållanden och om kyrkans förhållningssätt mildrats. De homosexuella som vågar visa sig öppet strävar efter att kunna leva sina liv i en normal vardag, precis som heterosexuella kan. Helt enkelt att leva tillsammans, med allt den grå vardagen medför, utan att hela tiden ifrågasättas i alla möjliga och omöjliga situationer. Det verkar som om kyrkan börjar inse detta. Tidigare har kyrkan medverkat till förtrycket av homosexuella personer. Nu verkar det som om kyrkan börjat ta intryck av hur dagens samhälle ser ut genom att ha ett lite öppnare förhållningssätt till homosexuella personer och förhållanden. Det verkar i stort sett handla om en tolkningsfråga: Kan de aktuella bibeltexterna verkligen sägas handla om det som i nutid kallas genuin homosexualitet?</p><p>Det verkar dock ta tid innan man lyckas komma fram till en gemensam kyrklig åsikt. Den ena arbetsgruppen efter den andra tillsätts för att diskutera frågan om kyrkan och homosexualitet men deras arbete drar ut alldeles för långt i tid, ofta åratal, innan man slutligen kommer till en slutsats. Slutsatsen ger för det mesta inga klara besked utan går ofta ut på att ”mångfald av åsikter berikar” och att de i gruppen inte kommit fram till några raka svar. Tyvärr så verkar denna process ta lång tid men man kan i alla fall se att utvecklingen går framåt mot en större öppenhet. Kyrkans hållning är inte längre lika negativt inställd till homosexuella förhållanden och det finns nu t.o.m. präster inom Svenska kyrkan som lever öppet i partnerskap. Även K G Hammar har del i den öppnare attityden. Han är stark nog att våga stå för sina åsikter trots att han vet att han riskerar att få mycket kritik från andra personer inom kyrkan.</p>

<p>Att avslöja sin homosexuella läggning blir allt vanligare i dagens samhälle, dock lever negativa attityder gentemot homosexualitet och homosexuella individer kvar. I vården som i resten av samhället speglas vi av heteronormativa attityder och tankar. Det förutsätts att de flesta människor lever enligt den heterosexuella normen, vilket kan göra det svårare för homosexuella personer att komma ut och vara öppna om sin homosexuella läggning. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa patienters upplevelse av sjuksköterskans attityder och bemötande gentemot deras homosexuella läggning. Litteraturstudien utformades utifrån en induktiv ansats, där 14 vetenskapliga artiklar användes till resultatet. I resultatet framkom det att hälso- och sjukvården upplevs styras av ett heteronormativt tankesätt, där patienten antas vara heterosexuell. Bristfällig kunskap hos sjuksköterskor och annan vårdpersonal var något som upplevdes av flera informanter. Många var också rädda för att avslöja sin homosexuella läggning på grund av oro för sämre vård och negativa attityder ifrån vårdpersonal. Framtida forskning bör inriktas på vidare studier av patienter som är homosexuella och deras upplevelser av hälso- och sjukvård och dess attityder gentemot homosexualitet. Det kunde också vara intressant att studera om det fanns skillnader mellan homosexuella män och kvinnor när det gäller deras upplevelser av bemötandet inom vården. </p>

Abstract:
Denna magisteruppsats undersöker vilka strategier homosexuella män och kvinnor använder för att möta andra homosexuella. Genom att använda kvalitativ semi-strukturerad intervju som metod och samtala med 3 män födda innan år 1952, samt ytterligare 3 män och 3 kvinnor födda mellan 1979-1989, visar det sig att informanterna har och använder strategier på olika sätt. Informanterna upplever att samhället är heteronormativt och därför har processen att ”komma ut” varit en betydelsefull del i deras liv och det är i denna process av sitt identitetsbildande som strategier blir särskilt märkbara för dem själva. Resultatet framhäver att strategierna skiljer sig beroende på vilken tid i samhället de används i. Innan 1979, då homosexualitet ansågs vara en sjukdom, krävdes andra strategier. Då användes specifika mötesplatser, symboler och signaler för att locka till sig ”rätt” personer. Numera när homosexualitet är samhälleligt accepterad behövs ändå särskilda strategier användas för att undvika att bli utsatt för våld. Internet och appar används som mötesarena utöver gayklubbarna. Särskilda mötesplatser, kläder, språk och signaler i form av exempelvis gester kvarstår i det fysiska rummet, men har förändrats över tid. Slutsatserna som dragits är att det finns behov av att använda strategier för att dölja sin homosexualitet samtidigt som den framhävs för rätt personer, men att de strategier som används förändras i takt med samhällets förändring. Symboler som används för 10 år sedan behöver inte innebära samma sak idag, men i stor grad har internet och appar ersatt behovet av att använda sig av symboler.<br>This master thesis examines what strategies homosexual men and women use to meet other homosexuals. By using the method of qualitative semi-structured interview and talking with 3 men born before 1952 as well as 3 men and 3 women born between 1979 and 1989, the result shows the informants have and uses strategies in different ways. The informants experience that society is heteronormative and therefor the process of “coming out” have been a meaningful part of their life. It is in this process of their forming of identity strategies become especially noticeable to themselves. The result highlights that strategies varies depending on what time in society they are used. Before 1979 when homosexuality was considered a disease certain strategies were needed. At the time certain meeting places, symbols and signals were used to attract the “right” people. Nowadays when homosexuality is accepted by society certain strategies are still used to avoid being exposed to violence. In addition to gay clubs, internet and apps are used as meeting places. Certain meeting places, clothes, language and signals in the form of for examples gestures remain within the physical room but have changed over time. The conclusion which have been drawn is that there is a need to use strategies to hide ones homosexuality while at the same time highlight it for the right people but that the strategies varies with the changing of society. Symbols used ten years ago does not necessarily mean the same thing to day and internet and apps have replaced the need for usage of symbols to a higher degree.

Genom fotbollshistorien har endast åtta herrfotbollsspelare kommit ut som öppet homosexuella. Den här studien ämnar belysa denna problematik genom att undersöka svenska fotbollssupportrars attityder gentemot homosexualitet, samt jämföra resultaten med hur Sveriges befolknings attityder gentemot homosexualitet. Studiens teoretiska ramverk består av R.W. Connells teori om hegemonisk maskulinitet, som kan skapa förståelse för den heteronormativa kulturen, samt Ronald Ingleharts socialisations- och knapphetshypotes, som kan förklara hur attityder formas. Tidigare forskning gällande homosexualitet och fotboll redogörs för och beskriver hur det heteronormativa fotbollsklimatet ser ut utanför Sverige. Studien använde sig av en internetenkät, vilken 633 fotbollssupportrar i åldrarna 14 till 77 år besvarade. Studiens resultat visade att fotbollssupportrar har positiva attityder till homosexualitet utifrån studiens operationalisering, samt att det finns en negativ korrelation mellan ålder och attityder till homosexualitet. Därtill fann studien att erkännandet av machokultur inom fotbollen innebär mer positiva attityder till homosexualitet, samt att det finns en distinktion mellan attityder och agerande. Resultatet diskuteras ingående i förhållande till de valda teorierna och tidigare forskning.

Bakgrund: Flera rapporter visar en   särskild utsatthet bland homosexuella patienter inom vården och livskvalitén   för denna grupp anses generellt försämrad jämfört med personer som definierar sig som heterosexuella. Äldre homosexuella har levt under en tid då   homosexualitet var mer tabubelagt vilket kan medföra en svår komma-ut-process. I vårdsammanhang finns inte tillräcklig förståelse för äldre homosexuellas historia och upplevelse vilket kan försvåra bemötandet och leda till ett vårdlidande för patienten. Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva äldre homosexuella personers upplevelse av att leva under en tid då deras sexuella läggning   sjukdomsklassades. Metod:Semistrukturerade intervjuer ägde rum med sju personer över 65 år som alla tidigt blivit klara över sin homosexuella läggning.   Analysen genomfördes med kvallitativ innehållsanalys. Resultat:Övergripande beskrev informanterna en problematik kring bemötande och diskriminering från omgivningen. Erfarenheter av negativa känslor kring sin sexualitet uttrycktes, vilket kunde resultera i ett eget ifrågasättande kring sin situation. Det framkom en historisk och pågående problematik kring samhällets syn på homosexuella och hur detta påverkade informanterna. Diskussion:I diskussionen problematiseras företeelserna ”Att inte   leva öppet”, ”Negativa erfarenheter av sin sexuella läggning” och ”Att   existera som normbrytare”. Resonemangen byggs utifrån en argumentation kring stigmatisering och heteronormativitet. En vårdsituation kan medföra ett ökat lidande bland äldre homosexuella om sjukvårdspersonalens förhållningssätt och bemötande medför ett exkluderande. Sjuksköterskan kan minska detta lidande genom en ökad förståelse för äldre homosexuellas situation och utsatthet.<br>Background:Several studies   reports vulnerability amongst homosexual patients in the healthcare and the quality of life for this group is generally considered reduced when compared with people who define themselves as heterosexual. Older gay people have lived during a time when homosexuality was unthinkable which may cause a difficult coming-out process. In care settings, there is insufficient   understanding of older gay people’s experience and history, which can affect nursing quality and increase the suffering for the patient. Aim:The aim is to describe older gay people’s experience of living in a time when their sexual orientation was classified as a disease. Methods:Semi-structured interviews were held with seven people above 65 years of age, all who became aware of their homosexual orientation at young age. The data was analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. Results:The informants described a general problem regarding negative response and discriminating surroundings. Negative experiences were expressed with about their sexuality, which could result in a questioning about their own situation. The interviews showed a historical and ongoing problem concerning society's view of homosexuality and how this affected the informants. Discussions:The discussion problematizes the phenomena of "Not livening openly," "Negative experiences of your sexual orientation" and "Your bare existence is breaking the norms". The argument is backed-up around stigma and heteronormativity. A health care situation can lead to increased suffering among older gay people if hospital staffs have negative attitudes towards homosexuals and   the patient’s feelings are excluded. The nurse can reduce this suffering through an increased understanding of older gay people’s situation and vulnerability.

Abstract:
The French composer Francis Poulenc had a profound admiration and empathy for the writings of the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca. That empathy was rooted in shared aspects of the artistic temperament of the two figures but was also undoubtedly reinforced by Poulenc’s fellow-feeling on a human level. As someone who wrestled with his own homosexuality and who kept his orientation and his relationships apart from his public persona, Poulenc would have felt an instinctive affinity for a figure who endured similar internal conflicts but who, especially in his later life and poetry, was more open about his sexuality. Lorca paid a heavy price for this refusal to dissimulate; his arrest in August 1936 and his assassination the following day, probably by Nationalist militia, was accompanied by taunts from his killers about his sexuality. Everything about the Spanish poet’s life, his artistic affinities, his personal predilections and even the relationship between these and his death made him someone to whom Poulenc would be naturally drawn and whose untimely demise he would feel keenly and might wish to commemorate musically. Starting with the death of both his parents while he was still in his teens, reinforced by the sudden loss in 1930 of an especially close friend, confidante and kindred spirit, and continuing throughout the remainder of his life with the periodic loss of close friends, companions and fellow-artists, Poulenc’s life was marked by a succession of bereavements. Significantly, many of the dedications that head up his compositions are ‘to the memory of’ the individual named. As Poulenc grew older, and the list of those whom he had outlived lengthened inexorably, his natural tendency towards the nostalgic and the elegiac fused with a growing sense of what might be termed a ‘survivor’s anguish’, part of which he sublimated into his musical works. It should therefore come as no surprise that, during the 1940s, and in fulfilment of a desire that he had felt since the poet’s death, he should turn to Lorca for inspiration and, in the process, attempt his own act of homage in two separate works: the Violin Sonata and the ‘Trois Chansons de Federico García Lorca’. This exposition attempts to unfold aspects of the two men’s aesthetic pre-occupations and to show how the parallels uncovered cast reciprocal light upon their respective approaches to the creative process. It also examines the network of enfolded associations, musical and autobiographical, which link Poulenc’s two compositions commemorating Lorca, not only to one another but also to a wider circle of the composer’s works, especially his cycle setting poems of Guillaume Apollinaire: ‘Calligrammes’. Composed a year after the ‘Trois Chansons de Federico García Lorca’, this intricately wrought collection of seven mélodies, which Poulenc saw as the culmination of an intensive phase in his activity in this genre, revisits some of ‘unheard voices’ and ‘unseen shadows’ enfolded in its predecessor. It may be viewed, in part, as an attempt to bring to fuller resolution the veiled but keenly-felt anguish invoked by these paradoxical properties.
