Abstract The Romanian-born European writer Vintilă Horia - whose birth centenary is celebrated this year - was a genuine searcher of truth. His entire work pleads for transgressive-integrating knowledge, in opposition to binary logic and scientism; it is the privileged space of articulation between cognition, creation and gnosis, between the apophatism of science, mystic apofatism and artistic apofatism. Although much less known than the trilogy of exile - Dieu est né en exil (1960), Le chevalier de la résignation (1961) and ¡Perseguid a Boecio! (1983) - the small-sized novel Le voyage à San Marcos (1972) acts as an exemplary attestation to this pompous conjunction. The current article focuses especially on the text’s trans-temporal valence

In his novel, “The Deadline”, Horia Liman depicts the history of an authentic world governed by unwritten laws belonging to the morality of the common man, especially to the honour code. In a poor isolated community from Oaș, placed on a rocky hill, where only the nettles grow, the knapsack and the knife are held in high esteem. The atmosphere of the novel, its characters and their features, the difficult life and the unwritten laws are gradually unveiled through significant events.

Este artículo explora un aspecto de la obra de Vintilă Horia no estudiado hasta ahora: su filo- sofía de los derechos humanos. A pesar de que la primera formación universitaria de Horia fue jurídica, su trabajo se decantó por la vía de la literatura y de la filosofía mayormente. La idea de libertad será central en la primera etapa de su obra enfocada desde la perspectiva de las “ciencias humanas”. En su segunda etapa, “holística”, la libertad seguirá siendo el eje de su reflexión, pero desde una mirada que integra también las “ciencias naturales”. Su aproximación “holística” a la cuestión de la libertad desembocará en una reflexión sobre los derechos humanos de acuerdo con la cual el verdadero “defensor” de los mismos no es el Estado, sino alguien que está fuera y tiene una especial capacidad para captar la esencia de lo humano y los peligros que la amenazan: el novelista.

A passagem do tempo e o desenvolvimento em etapas, assegurado ao ser humano, não costuma ser um atributo do monstro. Imagem perene que não se altera e que obedece outra possibilidade temporal, encarnação de estereótipos ancestrais ou visão delirante de uma continuidade ameaçadora, o monstro quando encarnado no processo histórico deve, necessariamente, abandonar sua infância. Contudo, há variedade nesse processo; analisaremos, neste artigo, duas dessas variedades, ambas leituras inspiradas da narrativo do Golem: o Golem de Gustav Meyrink e a "Sarpele cu Ochelari" de Horia Bonciu.

Cette thèse se propose d’analyser la relation entre l’exil, la création littéraire et leslangues d’écritures dans l’oeuvre de Vintila Horia. Les méthodes que nous avons utilisées – lacomparaison de quelques exemples célèbres d’exils, l’analyse thématique et psychanalytiquedes romans, l’application aux textes de Horia des nouvelles théories concernant le personnageet l’écrivain comme personnage, tout cela signale l’interdisciplinarité et désigne la pluralité denotre domaine d’étude, à savoir la littérature de l’exil. Le corpus comprend les romans Dieuest né en exil, Le Chevalier de la résignation, Persécutez Boèce !, Une Femme pourl’Apocalypse, Les Impossibles, Le Voyage à San Marcos, La Septième lettre et Les Clefs ducrépuscule. Nous y avons ajouté des textes non fictionnels tels le Journal d’un paysan duDanube et des fragments de la correspondance de l’auteur avec son frère, de même que desarticles de presse, et des textes fictionnels qui ne s’inscrivaient pas du point de vuelinguistique à notre démarche, mais qui révèlent l’unité de l’oeuvre.Le fil conducteur de notre thèse est l’exil, étudié dans ses aspects multiples ; enparticulier nous avons surtout insisté sur le fait que l’exil déclenche et stimule la création. Deplus, l’exil apparaît comme un élément diffus, insinué dans les oeuvres, au point que saprésence ne se révèle pas toujours de la même manière.Dans la première partie, l’exil est présenté comme concept qui nécessite unedéfinition ou une redéfinition, selon plusieurs perspectives. L’analyse de l’exil (considérécomme réalité objective sociopolitique, psychologique et littéraire) procède d’une certainetradition européenne de l’exil ; elle est représentée par les Russes et par les Allemands. Cesdeux exemples se distinguent non seulement du point de vue quantitatif, mais aussi du pointde vue qualitatif. Aussi ont-ils servi de base à une démarche inductive qui tache de construireune théorie de l’exil en littérature, susceptible ensuite de s’appliquer, de manière déductive,au cas roumain, en particulier au cas de Vintila Horia.La deuxième partie est l’étude de cas induite précédemment. Le « portrait » de Horiaest réalisé à partir de ses propres textes, ce qui évite l’introduction d’une biographietraditionnelle dans la thèse et rend compte de la direction de recherche adoptée. L’intérêt decette partie est d’observer l’évolution identitaire et linguistique de l’individu Vintila Horiadans sa vie personnelle et surtout dans sa vie d’écrivain. Le plurilinguisme de sa création y estconçu comme un intermédiaire entre sa brève existence monolingue et sa francophoniepotentielle.La dernière partie s’appuie davantage sur les textes de Horia. Le roman Dieu est néen exil y occupe une place centrale, mais son analyse n’occulte pas l’importance d’autrestextes de l’écrivain et qui relèvent de sa préoccupation pour les problèmes théoriques de lacréation romanesque. Le dernier chapitre (qui propose une lecture nouvelle de l’oeuvre deHoria) est constitué de deux parties entre lesquelles l’analyse des romans se fait de manièrecontinue mais selon des perspectives différentes. Le point de départ de la première partieréside dans l’observation des pouvoirs bénéfiques de l’écriture sur l’existence de l’exilé. Acette occasion sont pris en compte d’autres moyens à travers lesquels l’exilé se défend contrela peine résultant de sa nouvelle condition. Le fonctionnement de ces moyens est suivi au6niveau des textes littéraires. Dans la seconde partie du chapitre les questions de l’écriture et del’écrivain deviennent centrales. Par les thèmes abordés – celui du personnage-écrivain et celuide la présence de l’auteur au niveau de son texte – Horia se révèle comme un auteur moderne,malgré l’air archaïque de son oeuvre
The objective of this study is to analyze the connection between exile, literarycreation and the languages used by Vintila Horia in his works. The methodology of thepresent study – based on the comparison of several famous exile cases, the thematic andpsychoanalytic analysis of the novels, the application of the new theories about the writer as acharacter to Horia’s work – indicates the interdisciplinary and plural nature of our field ofstudy, which is the literature of exile. The corpus consists of the following novels: Dieu est néen exil, Le Chevalier de la résignation, Persécutez Boèce !, Une Femme pour l’Apocalypse,Les Impossibles, Le Voyage à San Marcos, La Septième lettre and Les Clefs du crépuscule. Tothese, we have added some non fictional texts such as Journal d’un paysan du Danube, somepassages of the correspondence between the author and this brother, some press articles andfinally some fictional texts that were linguistically separated from the rest of our corpus, butwere chosen for their capacity of proving the unity of the work.Our study was built around the concept of exile, studied in its multiple forms, ofwhich we chose to insist on the one that represents this phenomenon as an initiator and animpulse of the human creative attitude. The exile is conceived in our research as an elementdiffused into the works in various manners, thus requiring different approaches.In the first section exile appears as a concept in search of its own definition,approached from different perspectives. The analysis of the exile (as an objective,sociopolitical, psychological and literary reality) was based on the existence of a tradition ofexile in Europe, best represented by the Russian and the German case. These two exampleswere distinguished not only quantitatively but also qualitatively. That is why they were usedin the developing of an inductive approach that was aimed at the discovery of a theory on theliterature of exile, to be subsequently used for the description of the Romanian exile,especially that of Vintila Horia.The second section is the case study previously announced. The „portrait” of Horia iscreated on the basis of his own texts, which gives us the opportunity to offer a less traditionalform of biography. It also indicates the direction of our research. This section has focused onthe development of Vintila Horia – as a man and as a writer – seen under the aspects oflanguage and identity. The plurilingualism of his creation is designed as an intermediarybetween his short monolingual existence and his potential Francophony.7The third and last section is based even to a greater extent on the author’s texts. Dieuest né en exil helds a central position in this process, yet its analysis does not reduce theimportance of other texts, that refer to the author’s interest in theoretical matters of the literarycreation, especially that of the novel. The last chapter is composed by two parts connected bythe analysis of the novels undertaken from different perspectives. The starting point of thefirst part is the observation of the positive effects of writing on the exile. On this occasion westudied some means of defense used by the exile in order to face his new existence. Wesearched and examined these elements at text’s level. The second part of the chapter focusedon the matters of writing and writer. The topics present in Horia’s novels – the writer as acharacter and the presence of the author in the text itself – reveal a modern writer, in spite ofthe archaic appearance of his work

Le problème posé par la littérature d'exil après la chute du régime communiste, en 1989, n'est plus de la rendre familière aux lecteurs roumains. Notre but maintenant devrait être la synchronisation de cette littérature, ayant souvent des dimensions impressionnantes, avec la création artistique du pays d'origine, bref en trouver un canon littéraire commun. Les auteurs qui font l'objet de cet ouvrage - Vintilă Horia, Constantin Virgil Gheorghiu et L. M. Arcade - ont fait de l'exil le point de départ de leur œuvre, en affirmant que l'exil est par excellence la condition de l'homme au XXème siècle. Un des buts de cet ouvrage est de trouver des éléments communs dans les oeuvres, bien différentes, des trois écrivains roumains (Horia, Gheorghiu, Arcade) pour lesquels le sentiment de dépaysement est devenu le signe du tragisme existential ; l'autre vise à établir une correspondance entre l'évolution de la littérature écrite à l'étranger et celle soumise aux rigueurs communistes, ayant comme critère initial la période de création
The challenge raised by exile’s literature nowadays is not only to become familiar with it. Our main purpose should be now to synchronize this literature, impressive in size, with the artistic creation from Romania, briefly to find a common literary canon. The writers subjected to analyze -Vintilă Horia, Constantin Virgil Gheorghiu and L. M. Arcade – created their literary work based on the notion of exile. The authors applied this notion to other domains and came to the conclusion that it represents the leading feature of 20th century man. One of the main purposes of this thesis is to find common elements in the literary work of three Romanian writers (Horia, Vintila and Arcade) for whom the feeling of alienation from their own country represents a sign of tragic existence; my other goal aims to establish a connection between the evolution of the literature written abroad and the one subjected to the rigors of the communist regime, considering the criterion of the creation period

Abstract:
Notre étude porte sur la création romanesque de l'exil roumain en France a partir de 1945 a 1989 date marquant la fin de la dictature en Roumanie. Les quatre auteurs que nous avons choisis appartiennent a deux vagues d'exil distinctes. Nous avons compares ces œuvres dans le but d’établir les caractéristique de la création romanesque de cette période. Nous avons basé notre analyse sur la méthode formelle. L'observation du schéma actantiel nous a amené aux conclusions suivantes : l'exil physique ou spirituel occupe une grande place dans tous les romans. Premièrement, les romans sont traversés par un conflit essentiel opposant l'individu au pouvoir. La présence d'évènements historiques dans deux des romans, l'examen des raisons de l'exil, son évolution nous ont amené a étudier la représentation de l'histoire. Deuxièmement, l'analyse du comportement des personnages féminins surtout dans le conflit entre individus et pouvoir nous a amené a étudier leur perception dans l'espace d'origine et d'exil. Observant également que la relation amoureuse ou le mariage ne serve que de prétexte narratif, nous nous sommes interrogé sur leur représentation. En troisième lieu, nous avons remarqué que les personnages créateurs occupaient une place importante dans les schémas actantiel et social, compte tenu de la présence de l'exil et du pouvoir.

L’intérieur des bâtiments est souvent modélisé en 3D pour diverses applications de modélisation ou de simulation. Par exemple, plusieurs méthodes permettent d’étudier l’éclairage, les transferts de chaleur, la propagation d’ondes. Ces applications nécessitent dans la plupart des cas une représentation volumique de l’environnement avec des relations d’adjacence et d’incidence entre les éléments. Malheureusement, les données correspondant au bâtiment sont en général seulement disponibles en 2D et les besoins des applications 3D varient d’une utilisation à l’autre. Pour résoudre ce problème, nous proposons une description formelle d’un ensemble de contraintes de cohérence dédiées à la modélisation d’intérieur de bâtiments. Dans cette thèse nous montrons comment cette représentation est utilisée pour : (i) reconstruire un modèle 3D à partir de plans d’architecte numériques 2D ; (ii) détecter automatiquement les incohérences géométriques, topologiques et sémantiques ; (iii) développer des opérations automatiques et semi-automatiques pour corriger les plans 2D. Toutes les contraintes de cohérence sont définies en 2D et 3D et reposent sur le modèle topologique des cartes généralisées. Ces opérations sont utilisées pour éditer les scènes 2D et 3D afin d’affiner ou de modifier les modèles. Enfin, nous expliquons comment ce modèle est utilisé pour une application de visualisation par lancé de rayons
Virtual architectural (indoor) scenes are often modelled in 3D for various types of simulation systems. For instance, some authors propose methods dedicated to lighting, heat transfer, acoustic or radio wave propagation simulations. These methods rely in most cases on a volumetric representation of the environment, with adjacency and incidence relationships. Unfortunately, many buildings data are only given by 2D plans and the 3D needs varies from one application to another. To solve these problems, we propose a formal representation of consistency constraints dedicated to building interiors and associated with a topological model. We show that such a representation can be used for : (i) reconstructing a 3D model from 2D architectural plans ; (ii) detecting automatically geometrical, topological and semantical inconsistencies ; (iii) designing automatic and semi-automatic operations to correct and enrich a 2D plan. All our constraints are homogeneously defined in 2D and 3D, implemented with generalized maps and used in modeling operations. We explain how this model can be successfully used with various ray-tracing methods

Este estudo está focado no conjunto teórico do imaginário proposto por Durand. Apresenta como objetivo compreender de que forma se constrói, na narrativa, "Operários de Primeira Hora. A épica da migração italiana no sul de Santa Catarina" de Valdemar Muraro Mazzurana, o imaginário do imigrante italiano no sul de Santa Catarina. Para empreender a análise construímos um referencial teórico, fundamentando a teoria durandiana e os desdobramentos dos regimes diurno e noturno da imagem. Estes regimes fazem parte do que o teórico chamou o trajeto antropológico do imaginário. Também estudamos brevemente a questão da narrativa e do narrador, guiados por Benjamin. Na sequência situamos o autor Mazzurana e sua trajetória bem como a questão da ocupação das terras do sul catarinense pelas correntes imigratórias italianas. Como metodologia de trabalho, elegemos a mitocrítica e mitanálise, métodos desenvolvidos também por Durand para analisar de que forma se construiu a narrativa e de que forma a busca pela cocanha se constituiu como um mito norteador dos primeiros imigrantes que chegaram à região sul de Santa Catarina. Fazemos também algumas reflexões sobre a imagem de diaolim, como entidade representativa do mal que acompanhou um dos imigrantes desde a longínqua Itália e se fez presente até o desaparecimento da personagem. Assim, constatamos que as modificações do espaço geográfico (a grande floresta) são indissociáveis das transformações no espaço privado e do ser humano que transita neste espaço. O drama da imigração italiana que serve de pano de fundo da narrativa são focos privilegiados para recuperar o cotidiano de um território- Brentano- uma cidade imaginal. A experiência vivida aparece dota de múltiplos sentidos, sedimentados sob o jugo da conquista pela cocanha e pelas agruras de uma vida difícil, envolvida em dores e alegrias, na espera de um devir de fama e fartura para o imigrante.
This study is focused in the theoretical group of the imaginary proposed by Durand. It presents as objective understands that it forms if it builds, in the narrative, "Operários de Primeira Hora. A épica da migração italiana no sul de Santa Catarina" of Valdemar Muraro Mazzurana, the imaginary of the Italian immigrant in the south of Santa Catarina. To undertake the analysis we built a theoretical referencial, basing the theory durandiana and the unfolding of the regimes of the day and night of the image. These regimes are part of which the theoretical called the anthropological itinerary of the imaginary. We also studied shortly the subject of the narrative and of the narrator, guided by Benjamin. In the sequence we placed the author Mazzurana and his path as well as the subject of the occupation of the lands of the south Santa Catarina for the immigrant Italian currents. As work methodology, we chose the myth criticism and analysis of myth, methods also developed by Durand to analyze that it forms if it built the narrative and that it forms the search for the cocanha was constituted as a guiding myth of the first immigrants that arrived to the south area of Santa Catarina. The drama of the Italian immigration that serves as backdrop of the narrative is privileged focuses to recover the daily of a territory - Brentanothe imaginal city . The lived experience appears endows of multiples senses, silted up under the yoke of the conquest by the cocanha and for the bitterness of a difficult life, involved in pains and happiness, in the wait of a future of fame and abundance for the immigrant.

The topic of the diploma thesis BUT Area Kravi hora is a strategic study of the BUT area at Kravi hora from the previous semester to a scale of 1:200. The subject is the elaboration of the concept in order to bring together the interests of BUT and Brno city in this extraordinary territory for the benefit of both subjects. This work deals in detail with newly proposed objects in the BUT territory. A number of regulations have been issued in the territory limiting the subsequent use of the area, but the current area does not suit the existing potential of the site. The main concept was a creation of a set of buildings that will serve the University for representation and public activities, while allowing the access and use of the general public by the inhabitants of the city of Brno. The whole site will be set up in a newly-built city-wide park and other park areas that will create an attractive part of the now-inaccessible and unspoilt area connecting Veveri with Kravi hora. There will also be added additional features inspired by the existing features in the area, namely the Art Colony with ateliers, then Business Units and spacious Public Workshops. The entire Kravi hora area will be interwoven with a number of services serving both adults and children. The new proposal will also lead to the diversion of car traffic from the whole territory in order to ensure the safest relaxed movement of visitors. There will be numerous parking spaces located on the outskirts of the area. The main goal is to create a strong concept focusing on relaxation, health, education and sport, which should result in the overall opening and attractiveness of the territory.

Since the early 1960s, an interdisciplinary field of environmental perception has been developed, withal earlier urban researches have focused on how people perceive their urban environment. Our study aims to assess the environmental quality through user’s perception, so to explore the way people perceive the outdoor spaces in Guelma we have conducted a survey questionnaire in three outdoor spaces, Martyr’s square, El Horia public garden, and Bou El mokh square. The assessment is based on a set of scientifically valid assessment criteria and indicators linked to the principles of sustainable development. The results of this study indicate that the outdoor spaces must play several roles in cities dynamics and functioning, depending on the local context and on the neighbourhood. The intensity of use and the frequency of outdoor spaces differs from one place to another, so it is necessary to avoid generic assumptions and to encourage local perceptual assessments.

Introdução: A temática ambiental deve ser incluída no contexto escolar visando sempre novas metodologias e estímulos que empreguem práticas simples e interdisciplinares, como por exemplo a implantação de uma horta. As ações desenvolvidas em uma horta escolar favorecem a mudança de hábitos e atitudes dos alunos quanto à percepção que eles possuem acerca do meio ambiente, ampliando a construção do conhecimento bem como a ação reflexiva da prática docente. Objetivo: Portanto, este trabalho objetivou relatar as atividades realizadas com a inserção de um projeto intitulado HORTIM, utilizando a horta como recurso didático, visando a formação de cidadãos conscientes e críticos com as questões ambientais, além do estímulo ao cultivo e consumo de hortaliças, bem como também a reutilização de embalagens descartáveis do dia a dia. Material e Métodos: O projeto HORTIM, foi desenvolvido na Escola Municipal Mércia Cardoso Coimbra, situada no bairro de Palmares da cidade de Parintins/AM, juntamente com os alunos das turmas do 4º ano B e 5º ano B vespertino, com faixa etária entre 8 a 12 anos. Contou-se ainda com a colaboração voluntária dos acadêmicos do curso de Licenciatura em Química do Centro de Estudo Superiores de Parintins (CESP) da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA), que por hora faziam estágio na referida escola. Resultados: A implantação de uma horta no ambiente escolar mostrou-se como uma alternativa que ressignifica o fazer pedagógico, possibilitando o estudo da Educação Ambiental encantador aos olhos dos alunos, motivando a curiosidade em relação ao tema, compreendendo o seu conceito e a sua importância. O contato com a natureza desde o início da vida escolar faz com que as crianças vejam as consequências das ações do homem no meio ambiente e adquiram uma postura ecologicamente correta, pois a construção de valores críticos deve estar presente ao longo de todo o processo educativo para que assim estabeleçam desde cedo relações saudáveis com o meio ambiente e busquem soluções para as problemáticas sociais e ambientais. Conclusão: Vale ressaltar que a escolha do nome HORTIM, provém da junção das palavras “horta” e “jardim”, visto que na escola estes se encontravam num só espaço.

La aparición del COVID-19 va a acelerar un fenómeno que ya estaba presente en la región, y que tiene que ver con una reconfiguración a nivel global del sistema productivo, de las formas de trabajar, de los roles, tareas y ocupaciones, y del modo en que las personas interactúan entre sí en diversos ámbitos. Así, resulta de vital importancia contar con información granular y oportuna de cuáles son los requerimientos del sector productivo en cuanto a la fuerza de trabajo. No obstante, a nivel regional es sumamente escasa la información de la que se dispone acerca de la demanda laboral. La proliferación reciente de portales de empleo on line ofrecen una fuente alternativa de información relativamente abundante, de frecuente actualización, fácil acceso y bajo costo de generación, que puede informar sobre tendencias recientes en el mercado de trabajo. Los datos que se emplean en la presente investigación se generaron a partir de la consolidación de información sobre vacantes publicadas entre septiembre de 2018 y septiembre de 2019 en tres portales de empleo de relevancia en Uruguay. El análisis a partir de las vacantes on line sugiere que Uruguay enfrenta retos en cuanto a la formación y capacitación de sus recursos humanos. Los datos muestran la importancia de la culminación del ciclo de educación media como requisito para participar de las oportunidades que se presentan en el mercado laboral. También existiría espacio para darle mayor impulso a la educación técnico-profesional. Además, el estudio muestra que, a la hora de contratar personal, los empleadores valoran mucho que éstos cuenten con alguna experiencia laboral previa, lo cual es un dato relevante a la hora de diseñar programas y políticas de formación y capacitación laboral.

El presente trabajo interroga un texto literario, El juguete rabioso de Roberto Arlt, publicado en Buenos Aires en 1926, entendido como un contexto de convivialidad surgido del universo de las representaciones culturales. Para ello, partimos de una constelación de conceptos procedentes de la teoría y de la crítica literaria que resultan funcionales a la hora de situar las posibles implicancias de la convivialidad en el campo de las creaciones literarias de América Latina. Los tortuosos pactos de convivialidad en la Buenos Aires de principios del siglo XX, que atañen tanto la psicología individual como las representaciones sociales, serán asediados en este artículo a partir del significado de los recorridos por el espacio urbano en transformación y de la centralidad de la literatura como instrumento de consumo y de producción.

Gran revuelo ha causado en la comunidad académica internacional la reciente publicación de la Dra. Kate Crawford, autora del libro “Atlas of AI” quien en un artículo de Nature advierte que: “la pandemia de la COVID-19 se está utilizando como pretexto para introducir herramientas de inteligencia artificial no probadas en los lugares de trabajo y las escuelas.” Por lo que, además, insiste en que es hora de regular a los sistemas de inteligencia artificial (en adelante IA) que “interpretan” emociones humanas. En efecto, esta preocupación no es algo nuevo. Desde hace algunos años la mencionada autora junto a diversos investigadores y organizaciones protectoras de derechos humanos han venido advirtiendo sobre el incremento en la comercialización y el uso de sistemas de IA que aseguran poder analizar los movimientos faciales, el tono de voz y los patrones del habla, para interpretar emociones humanas.

Este estudio presenta los resultados del análisis de dos (2) encuestas virtuales realizadas a los participantes de los cursos MOOC y seguidores de las redes sociales del BID sobre necesidades de capacitación en la región. La primera encuesta sondea el grado de necesidad de aprendizaje en competencias digitales y blandas y la segunda, el interés individual por aprender sobre algún tema en particular. Entre las necesidades formativas relacionadas con las competencias digitales, se destacan específicamente la comunicación y colaboración en entornos digitales, así como inteligencia emocional. En la segunda encuesta se observa un alto grado de consenso en cuanto al interés por aprender sobre: gestión de proyectos, ciencia o gestión de datos, big data, emprendimiento y políticas públicas. Los resultados obtenidos gracias a estas dos encuestas serán clave a la hora de orientar la estrategia y toma de decisiones del programa IDBx así como para el desarrollo o recomendación de nuevos cursos.

La desigualdad en la participación laboral de las mujeres y su menor remuneración relativa, en comparación con los hombres, representa una de las principales fuentes de inequidad de género observada en los países de América Latina, y de los países del grupo CID en particular. Si bien es cierto, las brechas en participación laboral femenina se han reducido en las últimas tres décadas, dicha reducción ha sido apenas de 7 puntos porcentuales a nivel mundial, por lo que se vuelve necesario analizar cuáles son los factores que afectan la participación laboral femenina en la región para diseñar políticas públicas que ayuden a eliminar estos obstáculos. A partir de un modelo de Heckman para las mujeres en los países CID, encontramos evidencia que sugiere que la vida conyugal se asocia con reducciones de 19% en la probabilidad de estar ocupadas y de cerca de 17% en su remuneración real por hora trabajada. La maternidad también se asocia con reducciones en ambas variables, por 5.5% y 6.3%, respectivamente. En las parejas en las que la mujer tiene mayor número de años de escolaridad aprobados, el efecto negativo de la vida conyugal sobre su participación laboral se mitiga en 0.8%. El modelo también refleja la importancia de la educación, como indicador de capital humano, para incrementar las oportunidades de participación laboral de las mujeres y su ingreso salarial.
