Zusammenfassung In diesem Bericht wird ein erwartungstreues Filter mit endlicher Impulsantwort (Unbiased Finite Impulse Response/UFIR) zur Systemidentifikation mittels Parameterschätzung verwendet. Dieses entspricht einem Least-Squares-Verfahren auf bewegtem Horizont (Receding Horizon Least Squares/RHLS) ohne die Verwendung von Anfangsbedingungen und mit optimaler Horizontlänge für eine minimale Schätzfehlerkovarianz in Gegenwart von Parameter- und Messrauschen. Die Messwerte des Ausgangssignals werden von der Strecke über ein Netzwerk [basierend auf dem Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)] zum Parameterschätzer übertragen. Die dabei stochastisch auftretenden Paketverluste werden mit Hilfe multipler Imputationen kompensiert. Der Einfluss des Netzwerks auf die Schätzgüte wird untersucht und an einem numerischen Beispiel erläutert.

ZusammenfassungKonfessionelle Kooperation im Religionsunterricht wird in Deutschland immer relevanter. In verschiedenen Bundesländern finden sich gegenwärtig unterschiedliche Umsetzungen dieser Kooperation, die von einer intensiven Zusammenarbeit evangelischer und katholischer Religionslehrkräfte bis zu einem Religionsunterricht in gemischt-konfessionellen Lerngruppen, den eine Lehrkraft allein verantwortet, reichen. Ein fachlich und didaktisch verantworteter konfessionell-kooperativer Religionsunterricht, der den unterschiedlichen Umsetzungsvarianten gerecht wird, bedarf entsprechend professionalisierter Religionslehrerinnen und Religionslehrer. Beide Aspekte – die unterschiedlichen Manifestationen konfessioneller Kooperation und die damit einhergehenden Erfordernisse an die Religionslehrerinnen- und Religionslehrerbildung – werden in vorliegendem Beitrag konturiert. Ein Überblick über existierende Formate einer kooperativ angelegten universitären Religionslehrkräftebildung und ein abschließendes Plädoyer für deren ökumenische Profilierung runden die Ausführungen ab.

Der Beitrag möchte die derzeitige Krise der katholischen Kirche einem an Organisationsentwicklung und Konfliktdynamiken interessierten Publikum erschließen. Dabei werden die aktuellen Krisenerfahrungen in den größeren Horizont der mit Modernisierungs und Globalisierungsprozessen verbundenen Polarisierungen eingeordnet, wie sie religiöse Gemeinschaften und die Gesellschaft selbst prägen. Diese Konflikte sind in der katholischen Kirche eng mit ihrer Organisationsstruktur verbunden, die theologisch gedeutet und begründet wird. Die verschiedenen Dialogprozesse in der katholischen Kirche lassen sich als Prozesse einer komplexen Organisationsentwicklung verstehen, welche nicht nur Organisationsstrukturen, sondern zugleich die Glaubenskultur und theologische Grundüberzeugungen betreffen. An den Erfahrungen mit der Synode im Bistum Trier werden Merkmale solcher Verständigungsprozesse dargestellt. In der Verschränkung von politischer Arena, Strategieentwicklung und einem Prozess geistlicher Verständigung und Umkehr liegt ihr Spezifikum.

Abstract:

A hazai városok „smart city”-vé alakulásának támogatása a kormányzat kiemelt célja, és ezzel összehangban több hazai város is zászlajára tűzte az okosvárosprogramot. A cél elérése érdekében az elmúlt években számos település kapcsolódott nemzetközi együttműködésekhez, egyrészt a programhoz szükséges hazai forrás hiánya miatt, másrészt a nemzetközi jó gyakorlatok megismerése és alkalmazása céljából. Elsősorban a megyei jogú városok és a fővárosi kerületek indítottak ilyen tevékenységeket, de vajon csak a nagyvárosok kiváltsága a „smart”-ság? Kutatásunk egyik célja annak a hipotézisnek az alátámasztása, hogy az „okosság” a vidéki, elmaradott kistelepülések esetében is értelmezhető. Igaz, más megközelítés és módszertan alkalmazásával. Fentiek illusztrálására két nemzetközi kutatási projekt eddigi tapasztalatait vizsgáljuk: az országban egyedülálló Horizont 2020-as projektet, amely egy hazai nagyváros részvételével zajlik; valamint egy alapvetően más koncepcióval megvalósuló projektet, amely a határ menti, hátrányos helyzetű kistelepülések összefogására épül. Az esettanulmányok segítségével igyekszünk választ kapni arra, hogy a smart programok megvalósulásának – különböző típusú települések esetében – milyen realitása van hazánkban. A téma aktualitása a következő (2021–2027) európai uniós programozási időszak tervezésekor kiemelkedő lesz, mivel a megfogalmazott tanulságok, tapasztalatok a szakpolitika számára fontos kiindulási alapot jelenthetnek.

Eine wichtige Rolle spielt dabei die Frage nach dem Metapherngebrauch in der Beschreibungssprache molekularer Reproduktionsvorgänge: ‚Transkription‘ (Umschrift) der DNA in RNA, ‚Translation‘ (Übersetzung) der RNA in Proteine (Ribosome), ‚Replikation‘ (Rückbiegung) der DNA in neue Stränge. Diese Metaphorizität wird im Horizont geistes- und naturwissenschaftlicher Konzepte diskutiert, die bisher kaum in Zusammenhängen gesehen wurden, aber eine mitunter überraschende Nähe aufweisen: Zur Sprache kommen Hans Blumenbergs metapherngeschichtlicher Ansatz von der ‚Lesbarkeit der Welt‘, die in den Naturwissenschaften verbreitete Kautel „The price of metaphor is eternal vigilance“ (Lewontin u.a.), Jean Claude Ameisens implikationsreiche These vom Zelltod als Gestaltungsprinzip des Lebens (‚La sculpture du vivant‘) und die Annahme einer zirkulären Kausalität in der jüngeren Krebstherapie (u.a. bei Michael Hendrickson in Auseinandersetzung mit Erwin Schrödinger). In diesem Kontext tendieren die Naturwissenschaften im Gegensatz zu den sprachskeptischen Geisteswissenschaften dazu, Begriffen wie ‚Transkription‘ und ‚Translation‘ ein wörtliches Substrat vor jeder metaphorischen Bedeutung zuzugestehen. Dieses Editorial leitet in ein Schwerpunktheft ein, das mit seinen Beiträgen auf das nicht selten mit dem Schlagwort »Bilderflut« bezeichnete Phänomen der Omnipräsenz von Bildern in unterschiedlichen Bereichen menschlichen Lebens interdisziplinär Bezug nimmt und dabei immer auch auf die psychosoziale Rolle von Bildern und den mit ihnen verbundenen Bildpraktiken fokussiert. In den Geistes-, Kulturund Sozialwissenschaften haben Bilder in dramatischer Unterschätzung ihrer ganz eigenen Potenzialität lange Zeit vorwiegend zur Illustration von Texten gedient, ein Defizit, auf das dieses Heft reagiert. Für eine weitere Kontextualisierung der Beiträge wird zunächst die viel bemühte Metapher der »Bilderflut« diskutiert, sodann auf die ikonische Verfasstheit des Menschen und die Rolle von Bildern für dessen Selbstund Weltverständnis hingewiesen, sowie auf die Potenzialität ikonischer Kommunikation und (Selbst‑)Artikulation. Rosa-Luxemburg-Konferenz 2020 in Berlin: Vor den schwarzweißen Porträts von Marx, Engels, Lenin, Zetkin, Che Guevara und Ho Chi Minh liest der 85-jährige Schauspieler Rolf Becker begleitet von vier Jazz-MusikerInnen aus einem Libretto, das Ernst Schnabel im Epochenjahr 1968 für das Oratorium Das Floß der Medusa von Hans Werner Henze geschrieben hatte. Vor einem weitgehend ergrauten Publikum wird «der Mulatte Jean- Charles» zur Zentralfigur der Lesung, der einen «roten Fetzen» schwenkte, als er am Horizont das rettende Schiff zu sehen vermeint. Zu der musikalischen Akzentuierung von Beckers Lesung tritt das Bild hinzu: Der Blick auf Théodore Géricaults epochales Gemälde Le radeau de la Méduse verdichtet das Gehörte zu einem nachhaltigen Eindruck von Hoffnung, Leiden, Entbehrungen und Tod der Unterdrückten und Verdammten. Im Rahmen der Konferenz lässt die Deutung des Schiffbruchs der französischen Fregatte Méduse 1816 keinen Zweifel zu: Der Untergang der Méduse vor Afrika ist ein weiteres Fanal in der Geschichte der Klassenkämpfe.

A fejlődő országok fenntartható gazdasági fejlődéséhez jelentősen hozzájárulhat a tudományba, technológiába és innovációba történő befektetés, ami történhet saját (pénzügyi és humán) forrásaik felhasználásával, vagy kívülről érkező forrásokból (például: külföldi tőke, hitelek, segélyek, technikai segítségnyújtás, ösztöndíjak). A technológia fejlődésben betöltött szerepére a nemzetközi fejlesztési együttműködés (segélyezés) keretét meghatározó Millenniumi és a Fenntartható fejlesztési célok egyaránt kiterjednek, ezáltal az innovációs segélyezésre is felhívják a figyelmet. Az Európai Unió a világ egyik legnagyobb donorszervezeteként is prioritásként kezeli az afrikai fejlődő országok technológiai fejlesztését, eddigi szoros kereskedelmi-segélyezési kapcsolatuk kutatás-fejlesztési együttműködéssel is kiegészült. E feltáró cikk célja az EU és Afrika közötti kutatás-fejlesztési együttműködés elemzése. A 2002–2016 közötti időszakot felölelő, az innovációs segélyeket és a Horizont 2020 projektjeit elemző kutatásunk több jelenségre is rávilágított: 1. az összes Afrikába irányuló innovációs segély csaknem háromnegyede az Európai Unióból származik, bár a bilaterális támogatások körülbelül 1 százalékát teszik ki és jelentős ingadozást mutatnak; 2.az innovációs segély fogadó országok szerinti megoszlása koncentrált, de időben változékony; 3. a leginkább támogatott területek a mezőgazdasági kutatás, a kutatási/tudományos intézetek, az orvosi és a környezeti kutatás; 4. a H2020-projektek esetén is erőteljes koncentráció tapasztalható a részt vevő országokat tekintve, és a projektek szektorok szerinti prioritása meglehetősen hasonlít az innovációs segélyekére.

Horizons of black holes or cosmologies are peculiar loci of spacetime, where interesting physical effects take place, some of which are probed by recent (EHT and LIGO) and future experiments (ET and LISA). We discuss that there are boundary degrees of freedom residing at the horizon. We describe their symmetries and their interactions with gravitational waves. This fits into a larger picture of boundary plus bulk degrees of freedom and their interactions in gauge theories. Existence and dynamics of the near horizon degrees of freedom could be crucial to address fundamental questions and apparent paradoxes in black holes physics.

Abstract:

The article discusses the results of determining the concentration of wear products in oil of marine diesel gearbox units on fishing vessels in order to use them for in-place diagnostics without dismantling. It was stated that the ultimate goal of diagnostics of wear products consists of identifying the increased wear rate, taking appropriate measures and predicting a possible accident. There has been brought the statistics for several years of monitoring different gearbox types: TKG2-0350 unit of Atlantic-335 type ships, SL2×3000 unit of Horizont type ships, gearbox of Atlantic-488 type ship, main gearbox of Kiev type ship, gearbox of Alpinist type ship. A formula for theoretical determination of the wear product concentration in lubricating oil is given, and a curve of the changing concentration of wear products has been illustrated. Conclusions are made about the information content and reliability of using the wear product concentration as a diagnostic parameter to determine the technical condition of the gearbox. The main reasons for the low information content of the method for determining the wear products in oil are provided. High metal concentrations in wear products in lubricating oil do not necessarily confirm the fact of accidental wear of gearbox parts. Instead of disassembling the gearbox, which leads to decreasing its resources, it is necessary to carry out diagnostics using various methods. It is recommended to analyze the wear degree of gearbox parts at least twice a year (after every six months of operation). There have been offered the reliable ways for improving the wear product diagnostic method.

En un contexto de alta incertidumbre interna que se ha agravado por el complejo ambiente económico, político (y ahora de salud) mundial, se hace un análisis numérico proveniente de simulaciones estocásticas dinámicas derivadas de Eudoxio: modelo macroeconométrico de la economía mexicana (Loría, 2019a) que genera dos escenarios macroeconómicos para México (inercial y pesimista) en sus principales variables de actividad económica para el horizonte 2020-2024. El escenario inercial arroja un crecimiento medio del PIB y del empleo de 1.27% y 1.6% contra 0.64% y 1.04% del escenario pesimista, respectivamente. No se visualiza un escenario optimista debido a la ausencia de articulación de políticas y hechos que fomenten el crecimiento económico mediante el fortalecimiento de la seguridad y, por tanto, de la confianza empresarial. Para considerar un escenario optimista se necesitaría de un verdadero cambio de políticas y del discurso oficial para recuperar aspectos fundamentales de la reforma energética y atender los enormes desafíos que están presentado la criminalidad los aspectos fiscales sobre el crecimiento económico.

Many current curricula, in going beyond traditional goals, increasingly foster creativity in science classrooms, declaring creativity a core skill of the 21st century. For enhancing creativity in science classrooms, the subject Arts is considered to offer a potential way from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to STEAM (STEM with Arts)). The Horizont-2020 project Creations prepared more than 100 creativity-enhancing STEAM modules based on the 5E instructional model. STEM subjects were mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry or technology, and often interdisciplinary for different school and class levels between the ages of nine and nineteen. All modules provided a social environment fostering creativity where students imagine, explore, experiment, test, manipulate, and speculate. Exemplarily, five modules including physics, math, and biology, were selected, for monitoring motivation and creativity. The first was measured on the level of career-motivation and self-efficacy, the latter focused on two sub-constructs: active cognition such as idea processing (Act), and a mental state of creative immersion (Flow). Subjects were a sample of 995 students (9–18 years). In summary, no gender impact or age effect appeared in any of the monitored variables. Participation intervened with Self-Efficacy and Act, while Career Motivation or Flow did not. Act as a cognitive variable associated with creativity might be more sensitive to changes, whereas Flow as a parameter measuring a state of mind related to emotion appears more stable. Path analysis supported the role of creativity for Career-Motivation by promoting Self-Efficacy. Conclusions for appropriate educational settings to foster STEAM environments are discussed.

This special issue points to the necessity to continue actively working on biological invasions, as invasive species remain a main and global threat for biodiversity through a global homogenization process. This issue includes six research papers, covering a large range of taxa, studying new invasive processes and proposing innovative management solutions. The way forward will be to continue working in close relation with other stakeholders and decision-makers, increase communication efforts, solicit societal feedback, and quickly implement consistent legislation.

Abstract:

Horizon 2020 is the name of the European Union’s research and innovation programme. In the first three years of the programme (2014-2016) over 100,000 proposals were received. 10,456 proposals were selected for funding. This success rate (11%) sounds very low and can discourage researchers from applying to the programme. This article argues that this success rate is not a reliable indicator for researchers. This article will show that a more realistic success rate is 29%. In one sub-programme (Energy) a success rate of 47% was measured. The message from this paper is that the chances of success in Horizon 2020 depends on two main criteria: a) having an excellent scientific idea; and b) having a thorough understanding of the evaluation process.

Resumo Este trabalho visa avaliar o poder preditivo que séries macroeconômicas têm sobre o índice de preços ao consumidor amplo brasileiro (IPCA) utilizando técnicas de séries de tempo. As previsões são realizadas para um horizonte de até 12 períodos à frente e comparadas com um processo autoregressivo como referência. O período vai de janeiro de 2000 até agosto de 2015. Utilizou-se um conjunto amplo de informação de 1170 séries. Para cada momento e horizonte de tempo selecionou-se um novo modelo utilizando o algoritmo Autometrics desenvolvido por Hendry e Doornik (2014). O desempenho preditivo dos modelos foi comparado utilizando o Model Confidence Set, desenvolvido por Hansen, Lunde and Nason (2010). Os resultados sugerem que há ganhos expressivos de previsão principalmente para os horizontes mais longos.

Abstract:

The content and distribution of organic and inorganic carbon along the profile in the soils of the Rostov agglomeration are considered. The results obtained on a TOC-L CPN Shimadzu carbon analyzer are evaluated using Student&#x27;s t-test. The groups of some horizons of native soils AU rz, AU, BCA, C, as well as their buried analogues [AU], [BCA], [C] were compared. The analysis of the urbic horizons was carried out taking into account their particle size distribution, previously dividing into horizons clusters - heavy URh and light URl. In the [AU] horizon of soils buried under the anthropogenic stratum, a statistically significant decrease in the organic carbon content is observed, compared to the AU horizon of natural analogues. The middle part of the profile - the BCA and [BCA] horizons - is characterized by the greatest similarity in carbon content, both organic and inorganic, which suggests the lowest anthropogenic impact on these horizons. Significant differences in the inorganic carbon content in the comparison pair - horizons C and [C] are shown, and its content is higher in natural analogues (horizons C). The data analysis of the urbic diagnostic horizons did not reveal any significant regularities because of the high degree of variation of this indicator due to the genesis peculiarities of the anthropogenically transformed stratum.

From 23 January to 13 February 2020, 20 manned research flights were conducted over the tropical Atlantic, off the coast of Barbados (13∘30′ N, 58∘30′ W), to characterize the trade-wind clouds generated by shallow convection. These flights were conducted as part of the international EUREC4A (Elucidating the role of cloud–circulation coupling in climate) field campaign. One of the objectives of these flights was to characterize the trade-wind cumuli at their base for a range of meteorological conditions, convective mesoscale organizations and times of the day, with the help of sidewards-staring remote sensing instruments (lidar and radar). This paper presents the datasets associated with horizontal lidar measurements. The lidar sampled clouds from a lateral window of the aircraft over a range of about 8 km, with a horizontal resolution of 15 m, over a rectangle pattern of 20 km by 130 km. The measurements made possible the characterization of the size distribution of clouds near their base and the presence of dust-like aerosols within and above the marine boundary layer. This paper presents the measurements and the different levels of data processing, ranging from the raw Level 1 data (https://doi.org/10.25326/57; Chazette et al., 2020c) to the Level 2 and Level 3 processed data that include a horizontal cloud mask (https://doi.org/10.25326/58; Chazette et al., 2020b) and aerosol extinction coefficients (https://doi.org/10.25326/59; Chazette et al., 2020a). In this research work, the author focuses on the analysis of the financial instrument of the Innovation Union — Horizon 2020. Horizon 2020 is the flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness. Abstract Agricultural activity, especially agricultural mechanization, leads to acceleration of erosion in rolling and hilly country. The level of the erosion process, already during territorial observations, may be assessed by the thickness of the humus horizon. In the vicinity of Bytów, the deluvial humus horizons have even achieved thickness of 100 cm. These horizons are also richer in organic matter than humus horizons located on flat-topped mountains and mountain sides. Deluvial horizons are characterized by a somewhat less acid reaction, sometimes even neutral, and somewhat greater dehydration of the sorption complex by alkaline cations.

Abstract The study aimed to determine the linkage between soil exchangeable potassium (K+) concentration and stream water K+ concentration during rainfall and snowmelt events in small catchments with different land use (Carpathian Foothills, Poland). The complementary geochemical and hydrochemical approach used in the study produced new information on the role of particular soil horizons and contributing areas such as hillslope or riparian areas in K+ delivery to stream channels during events. Horizons lying above the nearly impermeable fragipan (Btx) play the most important role in the process of K+ influx to streams during most event types except snowmelts with frozen soils, in all the studied catchments. In the woodland catchment, rapid flushing of K+ from the topsoil Ah horizon with higher hydraulic conductivity (Ksat ) and higher exchangeable K+ concentrations than in the lying lower E horizon resulted in a clockwise hysteresis of K+ in stream water during most events. In agricultural catchments, changes in stream water K+ concentration during events were determined by distinct differences between soil exchangeable K+ concentrations on hillslopes and in riparian areas.
