This article examines Utkir Hoshimov’s “Inscriptions in the Frame of the Notebook” in terms of form and content, the balance of man, society, time and space, the interdependence, and the philosophical issues raised by the author. This study explores the interface between grammar and pragmatics using a passage from Utkir Hoshimov’s short story “A Stork (Laylak)” from his book “Notes for a Rainy Day (Daftar hoshiyasidagi bitiklar),” originally published in Uzbek and translated into English by F. This article analyzes the comparative study of the works of the famous Uzbek writer Utkir Hoshimov in Uzbek literature. At the same time, it is analyzed that writer’s stories and novels have shifted from traditional realism to a new narrative style, i.e., the depiction of an event by several protagonists, and sometimes the absence of a single protagonist.
