The building Norra Djurgården 43:12 on the main campus of the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH)  in Stockholm will be retrofitted as students from the exter- nal campus Haninge will be moved there. This occasion is supposed to be used to improve the facility’s energy efficiency. Potential for this exists for both the space and the water heating system. The effect of decreasing the supply temperature to the radiators was examined  based on equations for the heat transfer. It was calcu- lated that lowering the supply temperature by 5 K would reduce the space heating demand by 25 %, i.e. 94.25

The thesis develops a high-volume water heater parallel system to cope with this problem. First, multiple cool water storage tanks are employed to store enough cool water. Next, the control valve is activated to heat cool water, when heated is to a setting temperature, the water is then transported to the hot water tank for storage. Finally, the needed heated water is delivered to the faucet or shower nozzle

Through proper operation a water resources system achieve to satisfy various types of water demand. Due to the inherent hydrologic uncertainty and others, it is impossible and economically impractical to design a water resources project having a sufficient capacity for all demands. Therefore, to determine a reliable yield with an allowable shortage is a key issue for assessing in the performance of a water resources projects. Furthermore the issue on the toler

abstract: Testing was conducted for a solar assisted water heater and conventional all electric water heater for the purpose of investigating the advantages of utilizing solar energy to heat up water. The testing conducted simulated a four person household living in the Phoenix, Arizona region. With sensors and a weather station, data was gathered and analyzed for the water heaters. Performance patterns were observed that correlated to ambient conditions and functionality of the solar assisted water heater. This helped better understand how the solar water heater functioned and how it may cont

Typhoon Aere, striking northern Taiwan in 2004, caused high turbidity of inflow into the reservoir, and forced water purification plants to shut down. This resulted in suspension of the water supply in Taoyuan for over 2 weeks. In order to solve the water deficit dilemma, Water Resources Agency formulated project “Implementation Plan of Shihmen Reservoir and Its Catchment Management Project”.
