This project developed a novel hydrophilic interaction chromatography method for the detection and identification of nucleotides. The method was validated by testing biological specimens; adult and neonatal saliva, and red and white blood cell extracts. The project discovered an interesting difference between the adult and neonatal saliva specimens. Abstract:
การศึกษาความเสถียรของ octyl methoxycinnamate (OMC) โดยใช้ C-18 HPLC บ่งชี้ว่า OMC จะสลายตัวไปเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่เมื่อถูกแสงแดด เมื่อเก็บ OMC ไว้ในที่มืดที่ 4, 20,32 และ 60 องศาเซลเซียส เป็นเวลา 1 เดือน ไม่พบการสลายตัวของ OMC การทำ online HPLC-APCI-MS ของ OMC และผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เกิดจากการสลายตัวให้ APCI mass spectra ที่เหมือนกัน ได้ทำการแยก photo-degradation product โดยวิธี semi-preparative HPLC นำสารที่แยกได้ไปตรวจสอบ NMR spectra ผลการทดลองบ่งชี้ว่ามีการเปลี่ยน configuration จาก octyl-p-methoxy-trans-cinnamate ไปเป็น octyl-p-methoxy-cis-cinnamate NMR spectra ของ OMC ที่ตากแดดและยังไม่ผ่านการแยก บ่งช

สารฟลาโวนอยด์ 10 ชนิดที่แยกได้จากเหง้ากระชายดำ (KD) เมื่อทดสอบฤทธิ์ยับยั้ง เอนไซม์อะเซทิลโคลีนเอสเตอเรส ด้วยวิธี microplate assay พบว่า สาร 6 (5,7,4’-trimethoxy-flavone) และ 7 (5,7-dimethoxyflavone) มีฤทธิ์ยับยั้งเท่ากับ 56.20 และ 44.20% ตามลำดับ ที่ระดับความเข้มข้น 1 มก. ต่อ มล. นอกจากนี้ยังได้สังเคราะห์สารฟลาโวน (11), 2’3’4’-trimethoxyflavone (12), 3,3’-dimethoxyflavone (13) และ 3-benzyloxy-3’methoxyflavone (14) พบว่าสาร 11, 13 และ 14 มีฤทธิ์ยับยั้งเอนไซม์อะเซทิลโคลีนเอสเตอเรสน้อยกว่าสาร 6 และ 7 ในการวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณสารฟลาโวนอยด์ (6 และ 7) ในสิ่งสกัดและผลิตภัณฑ์กระชายดำ ได้นำวิธีทาง HPLC แล
