Abstract:
The smart grid is a developing network of transmission lines, equipment, controls and new technologies working together to respond immediately to 21st Century demand for electricity, but the smart grid may also create much new vulnerability if not deployed with the appropriate security controls. In this paper, to evaluate the secure GOOSE message performance, we implemented the IEC 62351-6 MAC mechanism, applied it on F-IED using the IEC 61850 GOOSE stack and the HSM, built the security test environment, and obtained test results.

IBM Spectrum Protect (ISP) software, one of the leader solutions in data protection, contributes to the data management infrastructure operated at CNAF, the central computing and storage facility of INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare – Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics). It is used to manage about 55 Petabytes of scientific data produced by LHC (Large Hadron Collider at CERN) and other experiments in which INFN is involved, stored on tape resources as the highest latency storage tier within HSM (Hierarchical Space Management) environment. To accomplish this task, ISP work

Abstract:
The Highway Safety Manual (HSM) initial version provides several safety performances functions (SPFs) that can be used to predict collisions on a roadway network. The calibration of the HSM SPFs for Fatal and Injury (FI), Property Damage Only (PDO), and Total crashes for Urban Four-lane Divided Roadway Segments (U4D) in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, and the development of new SPFs were investigated in this paper. The HSM SPFs were calibrated first with the HSM methodology, and then new forms of specific SPFs were evaluated for Muscat urban roads to determine the best model using the Poisson-Gamma

Systematic reviews of moxibustion for LDH have identified ponderable evidence, especially for heat-sensitive moxibustion (HSM). Therefore, we designed and carried out the large sample trial to evaluate it. 456 patients were recruited from 4 centers in China and were randomly divided into three groups by the ratio of 1 : 1 : 1 to HSM (152) group, conventional moxibustion (152) group, and conventional drug plus acupuncture (152) group. Compared with usual care, there was a statistically significant reduction in mean M-JOA score at 2 weeks and 6 months for HSM (3.8 ± 2.6 versus 8.5 ± 2.9; 3.7 ± 2

Abstract:
High speed machining (HSM) is one of the main trends of cutting machinery and is an important development direction of advanced manufacturing technology. In our country, the relevant research of HSM database starts later, especially of the cutting of hardworking material, the actual machining and experiment on the machining technology and the machining parameters of HSM are few, the reasonable machining parameters selection scheme and the appropriate cutter choice method are lack. The paper established HSM database system of the hardworking material based on web to improve cutting efficiency.

In this study, numerical analysis of an embankment dam was carried out to predict settlement behavior with the use of the Mohr-Coulomb Model (MCM) and of the Hardening Soil Model (HSM). The MCM was applied to all material zones of the dam and the HSM was used for four major material zones that occupied significant volume. The settlement response of the dam was similar for MCM and HSM for three material zones (clay core, sandy gravel and random fill), each having a modulus of elasticity (MOE) in the range of 25000 to 50000kPa. However, it was found that after the end of the construction, the MC
