Abstract:
The use of internet connections to develop Virtual Private Network (VPN) lines in companies has been massively applied. An example is the use of Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) technology from Cisco, which can connect Spoke or branch offices through HUB or data centers. Besides requiring a secure network, companies also need high network availability. One of them is by using the redundancy method in order to minimize downtime when device damage occurs. In this research, the spoke router will apply two redundancy methods by Cisco, which are Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) and Gateway Load Balancing (GLBP). This research aims to compare the QoS performances and downtime between the two protocols in order to discover the suitable method for DMVPN networks at branch offices. The test scenario is conducted on the GNS-3 simulator using the File Trasnfer Protocol (FTP) service. The obtained test result shows that the HSRP throughput value is smaller from the GLBP with a difference of 0.20%, the increase in the average delay of the HSRP is smaller from the GLBP with a difference of 1.07%. The HSRP data transfer time is faster than GLBP with a difference of 1.49%, and HSRP downtime is 4.13% faster than GLBP. The conclusion is that a suitable redundancy solution for spoke router using the HSRP method

Abstract:
ABSTRAKDalam perancangan jaringan, yang terpenting adalah faktor ketersediaan, mengurangi kegagalan, dan mengatasi beban lalu lintas yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan dan mengevaluasi sistem First Hop Redundancy Protocol (FHRP) pada jaringan topologi star dengan menggunakan routing EIGRP. Hasil dari pengujian kinerja rata-rata delay menunjukkan selisih antara router master dan backup pada protokol Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) lebih baik yaitu hanya 0,003 detik, sedangkan pada protokol Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) 0,076 detik dan protokol Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) 0,075 detik. Pada pengujian rata-rata packet loss protokol GLBP menunjukkan selisih yang cukup besar antara router master dan backup yaitu 12,07 %, sedangkan pada protokol VRRP 0,07 % dan protokol HSRP 5,06 %. Namun pada hasil pengujian rata-rata throughtput protokol HSRP lebih stabil yaitu 0,60 Kbps pada router master dan 0,90 Kbps pada router backup, sedangkan protokol VRRP paling tidak stabil karena mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan yaitu 0,458 Kbps pada router master dan 1,11 Kbps pada router backup.Kata kunci: FHRP, VRRP, GLBP, HSRP, Routing, EIGRP, Protokol ABSTRACTThere are several important considerations in designing a network, including availability, minimizing failure, and handling high traffic data. The current research aims to implement and evaluate the First Hop Redundancy Protocol (FHRP) system on star topology networks using EIGRP routing. The result shows the average performance difference of the master and the backup router in Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) protocol is 0,003 second, while in Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) protocol is 0,076 second, and Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) protocol is 0,075 second. The test in GLBP protocol shows a significant difference in packet loss between master and backup router about 12,07%, while in VRRP protocol is 0,07%, and HSRP protocol is 5,06%. The average throughput in HSRP protocol is stable with 0,60 Kbps in the master router and 0,90 in the backup router, while in VRRP protocol is not stable with 0,458 Kbps in the master router and 1,11 Kbps in the backup router. Abstract:
With the increase of internet user today, if it only has one router, when the router experiencing a network failure, then the internet cannot be used. To overcome this problem, the HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol) method by creating one active link and one backup link has been applied in the previous research. In this research will be applying the HSRP, VTP (Vlan Trunking Protocol), InterVLAN, and VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) as a comparison. The testing parameter in this research will be using packet loss and throughput. From the result of testing that has been done, it shows that by applying the HSRP method, it gives a network availability with the packet loss of only 0,32%, and throughput of 1,159Mb/s (95,58%) from using 100 PC.

Abstract:
Realtime (streaming) data communication has become a major requirement for companies and government institutions. Communication that occurs is not only limited to one particular local area but covers other areas so as to form a broad network (WAN). In building network infrastructure, one of the most important things is how networks can deal with failure (failure) on a computer network consists of failure of devices (devices) that affect Quality of Services (QoS). In every internet network design process, a redundant line is always added to complete the main line. So that if the main line is disrupted, data traffic can be transferred to the backup path, this process is called network redundancy. So that if one gateway dies, another gateway will immediately replace the dead gateway. There are two protocols included in the FHRP, namely Hot Standby Routing Protocol (HSRP), and Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP), these two protocols that can overcome this problem. So from that this study will discuss which protocol between the two protocols has the best performance in overcoming the problem. Methods of data collection with literature studies and literature studies, simulations carried out with 8 stages (problem formulation, conceptual models, input & output data, modeling, simulation, verification & validation, experimentation, and output analysis). The results of this study provide the best QoS value for the delay value is the HSRP ROUTER protocol, and for the value of packet loss is HSRP, and for throughput value is HSRP and the routing protocol that is appropriate for the network for video streaming services is HSRP

Abstract:
Penggunaan jaringan TCP/IP pada masa ini sangat krusial, dimana hampir semua perusahaan dan instansi pemerintah maupun swasta tergantung pada jaringan ini demi memperlancar bisnis dan komunikasi agar terus berkelanjutan. Kegagalan jaringan yang disebabkan link failure ataupun devices failure sangat tidak bisa ditoleransi karena akan menganggu aktifitas bisnis dan komunikasi yang berlangsung 24 sehari, 7 hari seminggu. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan kegagalan jaringan tersebut dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas tiga metode yaitu VRRP, HSRP dan GLBP diharapkan dengan penggunaan tiga metode tersebut bisa memberi solusi untuk mengatasi kegagalan jaringan demi lancarnya aktifitas bisnis dan komunikasi. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan secara keseluruhan metode GLBP terlihat lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan metode VRRP dan HSRP, terutama pada pengujian packet loss dan throughput.

A series of phosphinegold(I) thionucleobase analogues, [R3PAu(SRx)] (R = Et, Ph or chexyl; HSR1 = 2-mercaptobenzoic acid, HSR2 = 2-thiouracil, HSR3 = 6-mercaptopurine and HSR4 = 6-thioguanine) have been examined for their in vitro cytotoxicity in L1210 murine leukemia cells in culture. The range of ID50 values (continuous 48 h exposure) for the complexes is 0.041 - 0.131 μM. The complexes with SR3 and SR4 are generally the most active; however, there is no clear trend associated with the phosphine ligands.

Pengalokasi IP Address versi 4 (IPv4) yang mulai menipis berjalan secara beriringan dengan semakin meningkatnya kebu-tuhan dunia teknologi informasi. Untuk memenuhi permintaan dari penggunaan IP Address, maka diterapkanlah Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). Hadirnya IPv6 diharapkan menjadi sebuah solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh IPv4 seperti permasalahan terbatasnya alokasi IP Address dan keamanan jaringan komputer. Pengimplementasian IP Address didalam jaringan komputer tidak lepas dari adanya protokol routing. Routing protocol Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) pun ikut berkembang dengan adanya penggunaan IPv6 menjadi EIGRP for IPv6 (EIGRPv6). Perkem-bangan jaringan haruslah mempertimbangkan faktor Quality of Service (QoS) di dalamnya. Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) IPv6 hadir untuk memastikan layanan jaringan dapat berjalan dengan maximal dan stabil saat terjadinya link failure pada layanan jaringan. Banyaknya transaksi di bidang perbankan seperti E-Banking, M-Banking dan SMS-Banking secara terus menerus dan dapat seringkali menyebabkan overload pada salah satu jaringan koneksi yang berujung pada terputusnya koneksi jaringan. Pada jaringan komputer dengan fasilitas-fasilitas perbankan pertu adanya sebuah protokol yang dapat membuat jalur “cadangan” sebagai jalur yang beroperasi dan mengambil alih jalur utama apabila terjadi kesalahan atau kegagalan pada jalur yang ditetapkan sebagai jalur utama. Implementasi protokol high availability atau selalu adanya ketersediaan dalam jaringan komputer pada penyedia jasa perbankan dapat selalu terjamin. Tahapan proses dimulai dengan perencanaan konsep topologi jaringan komputer, perancangan topologi jaringan komputer, cara dan penerapan protokol FHRP hingga ke teknik konfigurasi dan simulasinya. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan HSRP proses backup berangsur lebih cepat akan tetapi tidak adanya pemberitahuan dalam pergantian jalur. Protokol HSRP ini pun hanya dapat digunakan pada router Cisco. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menemukan karakteristik dari protokol FHRP, menemukan kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam protokol FHRP serta memberikan saran dan masukkan bagi penyedia fasilitas perbankan untuk koneksi jaringan yang tentunya lebih baik.

Abstract:
Signal recognition particle (SRP) is a universally conserved targeting machine that mediates the targeted delivery of ∼30% of the proteome. The molecular mechanism by which eukaryotic SRP achieves efficient and selective protein targeting remains elusive. Here, we describe quantitative analyses of completely reconstituted human SRP (hSRP) and SRP receptor (SR). Enzymatic and fluorescence analyses showed that the ribosome, together with a functional signal sequence on the nascent polypeptide, are required to activate SRP for rapid recruitment of the SR, thereby delivering translating ribosomes to the endoplasmic reticulum. Single-molecule fluorescence spectroscopy combined with cross-complementation analyses reveal a sequential mechanism of activation whereby the ribosome unlocks the hSRP from an autoinhibited state and primes SRP to sample a variety of conformations. The signal sequence further preorganizes the mammalian SRP into the optimal conformation for efficient recruitment of the SR. Finally, the use of a signal sequence to activate SRP for receptor recruitment is a universally conserved feature to enable efficient and selective protein targeting, and the eukaryote-specific components confer upon the mammalian SRP the ability to sense and respond to ribosomes.

Abstract:
Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sebagai sekolah menengah berbasis vokasi mendapatkan manfaat sebagai pengembangan teaching factory. Teaching factory adalah konsep pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada produksi dan bisnis untuk menjawab tantangan perkembangan industri. Namun, di tengah pandemi, pengelolaan teaching factory mendapatkan hambatan dari sisi kinerja jaringan yang tidak andal. Kondisi yang sudah ada menggunakan protokol jaringan static routing dan tidak memiliki jalur cadangan pada jaringan. Oleh karena itu, diusulkan penggunaan dynamic routing OSPF dan BGP dengan metode pembebanan kinerja VRRP, HSRP, dan GLBP sebagai jalur cadangan, yang diukur melalui parameter throughput, delay, dan packet loss untuk Quality of Service. Tahapan skenario penelitian menerapkan masing-masing dynamic routing protocol pada ketiga metode pembebanan kinerja agar mampu diukur dan memperoleh hasil QoS yang diharapkan di end user. Hasil terbaik yang direkomendasikan yaitu dynamic routing OSPF dengan metode pembebanan kinerja VRRP karena memberikan perbandingan waktu kurang dari 1 detik saat terjadi kegagalan jalur pada jaringan internet. Hal ini terbukti dari QoS sebesar 3,96 dengan kategori sangat memuaskan, lebih baik dibandingkan lainnya.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with theoretical analysis of First Hop Redundancy Protocols. It describes Hot Standby Router Protocol, Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol and Gateway Load Balancing Protocol. It also shows examples of configuration of each protocol on Cisco devices with supported version of the Cisco IOS. Furthermore, this thesis includes design of two of these protocols, Hot Standby Router Protocol and Gateway Load Balancing Protocol, and their implementation in discrete event simulator OMNeT++ and Automated Network Simulation and Analysis library. Finally, the thesis presents results of testing of the implementations in comparison with actual Cisco devices.

<p>This thesis puts forward a new solution to provide the reliable network to the Internet Service Provider (ISP). This study mainly focuses on the ISPs network to provide reliability and the load balancing. It offers a guide line for the best reliable solution to the ISPs, individual organizations or other types of service providers which are engaged in providing reliable communications to their subscribers. These reliable services may be real time communications which include weather forecasts, tracking systems, online Internet protocol TV (IPTV) programs and many other ISPs services which are totally depend on the reliable network.</p><p>With the appearance and expansion of Internet subscribers all over the world, ISPs services are becoming more popular. The rapid increase of connection-demand and highly traffic network is the main reason behind the need to scale reliable network. To offer better solutions, a new theoretical and practical approach should be considered that can cover the reliable network.</p><p>The suggested network structure monitors the links, spreads the network traffic with multiple devices and takes a backup (redundant) link automatically when changes occur in the network topology. In order to support the redundancy, load balancing and reduce the failover time, the hot standby routing protocol (HSRP) is implemented on the suggested network. As we have analyzed that in any network, scalability bringing to raised the network traffic broadcast issue. Broadcast storms can be prevented by setting threshold values of traffic-filters. The threshold level helps to control broadcast traffic in networks.</p><p>With regard to suggested solutions, it is necessary to observe the limitations and advantages of the recommended reliable network structure. Therefore, this research will include the advantages and limitations of the techniques used to offer ISP services such as scalability, security and IPv6.</p>

<p>The company Västra Mälardalens Kommunalförbund, VMKF, wishes to revise and optimize their present data and IP-telephony network as of today consists of the three municipalities Köping, Arboga and Kungsör. As a municipal corporation, they seek consultation regarding internal as well as external review and investigation of the main structure of the network, its functionality and safety. By today’s increasing demands of Internet accessibility, availability of services and security far more extends the requirement of a complete network design. The foundation of networking rests on the balance between each of these necessities. Therefore, it is of grave importance to optimize a network design, use of hardware and to minimize the administrative overhead. In particular, when the municipality is short of resources and time means money. By letting an impartial investigation of the network act as a starting point it was established that several improvement could be applied. Among these a reconstructed and improved network topology that includes subjects as routing, switching, safety and security, quality of service and technical administrative overhead and the implementation of a real time monitoring of network bandwidth consumption.</p><br><p>Företaget Västra Mälardalens Kommunalförbund, VMKF, har önskemål om att granska och optimera deras befintliga data- och IP-telefoninätverk som i dagsläget spänner över de tre kommunerna Köping, Arboga och Kungsör. Som ett kommunalägt företag önskar de konsultation rörande intern såväl som extern granskning och optimering av huvuddelen av nätverkets funktionalitet samt säkerhet. I och med dagens ökade Internetanvändning och funktionalitetsbehov ställs allt högre krav på tillgänglighet, säkerhet och användarvänlighet. Nätverksteknik bygger mycket på balansen mellan dessa tre punkter. Därför gäller det att optimera nätverkets design, hårdvaruanvändning och att minimera administrativa laster. Detta i synnerhet då kommunens resurser är knappa och då tid i dagens samhälle innebär pengar. Genom att låta en granskning över nätverket som det ser ut i dag ligga till grund konstaterades att flertalet förbättringsmöjligheter kunde genomföras. Bland dessa återfinns en omstrukturerad nätverksdesign som innefattar routing, switching, säkerhet, QoS och teknisk administration samt implementeringen av en realtidsövervakning av bandbreddsanvändning.</p>

First Hop Redundancy Protocols are network protocols which are designed to protect the default gateway and also to ensure high availability in the network by using redundancy. The reader becomes familiar with protocols VRRP, HSRP and GLBP and also learn the way how to configure them to on real Cisco devices. It also describes how implement VRRP int the simulated enviroment of OMNeT++. The result of the implementation is verified in the test topologies.

Orientador: Antônio Carlos Alessi<br>Banca: Karin Werther<br>Banca: Felipe Augusto Ruiz Sueiro<br>Resumo: Os tumores de mama são a principal causa de morte em cães e isso vem despertando maior interesse no desenvolvimento de estudos relacionados a este distúrbio. A proximidade com os seres humanos, tanto na convivência quanto aos hábitos, podem influenciar o aparecimento das neoplasias. A semelhança dos tumores mamários caninos com os tumores de mama da mulher leva a um interesse no estudo da patologia comparada, estimulando o uso de modelos animais. Apesar dos muitos estudos, pouco se conhece sobre o prognóstico e as causas dos tumores mamários caninos, observando-se um esforço crescente na tentativa de acrescentar aos fatores prognósticos clássicos novos parâmetros, de natureza molecular, que auxiliem a decisão clínica, à semelhança do verificado em Medicina Humana, estando entre eles os marcadores moleculares, como a proteína P53 e as proteínas de estresse. A expressão de proteína P53 e das proteínas de estresse tem sido observada em muitas neoplasias, incluindo o câncer de mama. Nesse sentido, o objetivo do presente estudo foi investigar a imunomarcação de HSP 27, HSP 72, HSP 90 e proteína P53 em tecido mamário normal e neoplásico de cadelas e estabelecer uma relação entre a expressão destas proteínas e o grau histológico das neoplasias. Foi realizada análise estatística e o nível de significância (α) adotado foi de 5%. Dentre os tumores malignos, os carcinomas simples foram o tipo histológico predominante. Para a proteína P53, não houve diferença significativa em sua expressão entre os grupos de tumores malignos avaliados, ocorrendo o mesmo para as HSPs 27, 72 e 90. A sensibilidade do teste de imuno-histoquímica para a proteína P53, nesta amostra, foi de 67,5%, a especificidade foi de 100%, o valor preditivo positivo foi de 100%, o valor preditivo negativo foi de 25% e acurácia do teste foi de 92%. The proximity with humans, much as in living habits, may influence the onset of tumors. The similarity of canine mammary tumors with breast tumors of women take an interest in the study of comparative pathology, stimulating the use of animal models. Despite many studies, little is known about the prognosis and causes of canine mammary tumors, observing a growing effort in trying to add to the classic prognostic factors new parameters of molecular nature, that help the clinical decision, like that seen in Human Medicine, and among them the molecular markers such as P53 and stress proteins. The expression of P53 protein and the stress proteins has been observed in many cancers, including breast cancer. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to investigate the immunostaining of HSP 27, HSP 72, HSP 90 and P53 protein in normal and neoplastic breast tissue of female dogs and establish a relationship between the expression of these proteins and the histological grade of tumors. Statistical analysis was performed and significance level (α) was 5%. Among the malignant tumors, simple carcinomas were the predominant histologic type. Protein P53, presented no significant difference in expression between the evaluated groups of malignant tumors, the same occurring for HSPs 27, 72 and 90. The test sensitivity of immunohistochemistry for protein P53 in this sample was 67,5%, specificity was 100%, positive predictive value was 100%, negative predictive value was 25% and accuracy of test was 92%. Although protein P53, compared to the control group with other groups in relation to staining intensity and proportion score, there was a significant difference only between the group of simple carcinomas. Abstract:
Högkänslighet är än så länge ett relativt okänt karaktärsdrag i personligheten. Trots att 15-20 procent av befolkningen tros ha en högkänslighet, enligt tidigare studier, så är forskningen begränsad om fenomenet och dess konsekvenser på individnivå. Syftet med denna undersökning var att ta reda på upplevelsen av att leva med högkänslighet med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod. Intervjuer med nio stycken intervjupersoner med en högkänslig personlighet utfördes, spelades in, transkriberades och analyserades. Resultatet visade att överväldigande, strategier, uppvaknande och visioner var gemensamma teman för samtliga respondenter. Konsekvenserna var både negativa och positiva, såsom uttröttning, depression, lyckorus och en god empatisk förmåga. Det som kunde hjälpa en högkänslig individ var strategier för återhämtning och en förståelse från omgivningen. Undersökningen visade både gemensamma faktorer och skillnader i upplevelsen av högkänslighet. Om högkänslighet kan ses som en resurs istället för en nackdel, skulle kombinationen av högkänsliga och icke högkänsliga vara bra och till nytta för samhället.

HSRs are a complex system not only in terms of technical specifications, but also with respect to operations and maintenance over the track structure. Also, track structure is basically considered as the most important and costly railway asset. Its maintenance is vital to assure safety and operating practices are also of great importance to assure that a good level of service is provided. Considering track maintenance considerations over a new HSR line, one important and critical feature is the operational regime and the question of whether the line will be operated as mixed (passenger and freight) or dedicated only to passenger traffic. This can influence the maintenance patterns: preventive maintenance planning, maintenances scheduling and assignment issues. This will be different for the dedicated and mixed HSR traffic scenarios. In this research, the main approach is focused on the interactions between track maintenance planning and operational concerns and influences in these two scenarios. With this aim and within the current paper, a model of the preventive maintenance scheduling problem (PMSP) has been selected initially from Budai (2006) and then an upgraded revision of this model (Multi-segment assignment and scheduling of preventive maintenance problem) is introduced. Furthermore, the upgraded model of PMSP has been run over a given HSR line (Tehran-Qom HSR corridor in Iran) based on the comparison between the two scenarios of dedicated HSR and upgraded mixed HSR patterns. The main requirements, similarities and differences between these two scenarios are analyzed based on preventive maintenance scheduling and assignment requisites and interactions over the operating restrictions and considerations such as track possession patterns for maintenance activities. We conclude that decision making between these two scenarios through PMSP modeling are quite complicated and depends on the technical and operational specifications of the given HSR corridor, although some general comments on tradeoffs are possible.

Millions of dollars are involved in high-speed rail (HSR) infrastructure construction and maintenance. Large-scale projects like HSR require funding from a variety of avenues beyond those available through public monies. Although HSR serves the general public’s mobility needs, any funds (whether State or Federal) flowing from the public exchequer usually undergo strict review and scrutiny. Funds from public agencies are always limited, making such traditional financing mechanisms unsustainable for fulfilling HSR’s long-term operational and maintenance cost needs—on top of initial costs involved in construction. Therefore, any sustainable means of financing HSR projects would always be welcome. This research presents an alternate revenue generation mechanism that could be sustainable for financing HSR’s construction, operation, and maintenance. The methodology involves determining key HSR stations, which, after development and improvement, could significantly add value to businesses and real estate growth. Any form of real estate taxes levied on properties surrounding such stations could substantially support the HSR project’s funding needs. In this research, a bi-objective optimization problem is posed in conjunction with a Pareto-optimal front framework to identify those key stations. With 28 California HSR stations used as an example, it was observed that the four proposed HSR stations in Fullerton, Millbrae-SFO, San Francisco Transbay Terminal, and San Diego would be excellent candidates for development. Their development could increase the economic vitality of surrounding businesses. The findings could serve as valuable information for California HSR authorities to focus on developing key stations that would generate an alternate funding source for an HSR project facing funding challenges.
