Abstract:
Today human need for electrical energy is very high. For that we need to find an alternative power plant renewable energy, especially environmentally friendly. One type of an environmenttally friendly power plant is a generator which is harnessing human-generated energy when exercising by using a static bike. This equipment is used on average 6 hours per day at 5.00-8.00 hours and 17:00 to 20:00 hours. In this research, a power plant system by utilizing human motion exercising from wheel rotary mechanics, generators, BCU (Battery Control Unit), and battery will be designed. The rider can see from the LCD when the battery condition is full, the battery is charge, the battery does not get energy from the generator, inverter on, inverter off, battery voltage and generator voltage. At the testing stage, 14 participants cycling for 15 minutes produced electrical energy on average of 594 Joules, with an age range of 20-23 years old. The resulting energy can turn on the light 3 Watt between 160 -251 seconds or 198 seconds on average. When accumulated 14 cycled samples with 15 minutes each (total 210 minutes) can generate 8313 Joule electric energy and can turn on 3 Watt lamp for 46 minutes 11 seconds.

Abstract:
Eco-city was researched from the basic characteristics and compared with existence form of life in this article. An eco-city shall form a living organism system as a complex organization of green building working as the main ecological circle in human society and civilization, demonstrating its nature of life as well. This paper analyzed the human as the most important part of a city, with both material and spiritual leading properties, elaborated that eco-city was similar to organism in the field of structure and composition, operation and control, development and evolution. It is concluded that human is the core energy and power of urban development in modern civilization.

Abstract:
Eco-civilization of water and human-water harmony supplement each other and advance each other. Constructing eco-civilization of water is an important way of promoting the development of modern water conservancy. It is necessary to establish national notion of saving water, handle the relationship between water conservancy project construction and water ecology, and improve conservation system of water ecology to strengthen the construction of eco-civilization of water and realize the harmonious development of human and water.

Abstract:
The city is a high-density human settlement. The contradiction in the city between human activity and ecological environment is particularly serious. In order to introduce eco-civilization into the city construction, it is inevitable to construct eco-civilization city. This article analyzes the connotation and characteristics of eco-civilization city, the main theoretical framework of urban eco-civilization construction including eco-civilization city construction planning, environmental protection, ecological economy/industry, ecological security, ecological concept/act, ecological culture, ecological politics/government, ecological law/system/policy, and ecological and livable city, which is expected to provide a reference for realizing the coordinated development of regional economic and environment.

Abstract:

With constant development of urbanization, urban traffic has become the most urgent problem in the contemporary metropolis. Therefore, it is an inevitable trend to positively improve the human-oriented sustainable urban eco-friendly traffic system. The urban branch road constitutes a part of urban road that will be mostly neglected while it plays a positive supportive role to the eco-friendly traffic. This article makes a contrast and analysis to the coordinated relationship between branch road network and eco-friendly traffic in same areas of Germany and Dalian City and concludes the branch road network’s assurance role to the eco-friendly traffic, points out deficiency of branch road network and low density in China. The development of eco-friendly traffic, raises a series of improvement measures to the urban branch road system.

Abstract:
As an ideal place of residence, eco-city makes a very important role in human life. The residents' production and life and eco-city’s construction and development are closely linked. Research on the main parts and their functions of an eco-city system is very essential to the study of eco-city. In this paper, we propose a four-dimensional model of eco-city that includes non-governmental organizations, government, business and residents. Based on this model, we analyze the importance and functions of the four main parts, and describe the evolution of the model in eco-city’s every stage of development.

Abstract:
This research sought to establish an eco-driving training system based on a driving simulator. The eco-driving training system contained five modules: human machine interface, data management, scene management, mode management, and evaluation algorithm management. It was proposed to base the new eco-driving training system on drivers’ individual characteristics. This system first asked drivers to conduct a diagnostic drive on a stretch of roadway in a driving simulator. The data on each driver’s non-ecological driving behaviors under different events were collected. Then each driver was given a customized training course based on an evaluation of his/her driving behaviors during the diagnostic drive. This training process is called eco-driving training based on individual characteristics (EDTIC). Eighty taxi drivers were recruited and divided into two groups for eco-driving training. One group was trained by watching videos, and the other was trained by the EDTIC training. An analysis of results shows that the EDTIC training was significantly more effective than traditional video training. Under the EDTIC training, all driving behaviors improved and emissions and fuel consumption were greatly reduced; the reduction was as great as 8.3–8.4%. The EDTIC training was proven effective at improving the eco-driving behavior of taxi drivers (i.e., professional drivers), and it could also be employed to train other professional drivers (bus and truck drivers) and non-professional drivers.
