This chapter describes subjects’ views on their research experiences. Subjects have their own opinions about research ethics. For example, a study staff’s kind or rude behavior strongly influences whether subjects feel respected in the research process. Subjects also describe study burdens that researchers and other outsiders don’t always recognize.
