The acid and base catalyzed simultaneous twin polymerization (STP) of various 2,2′-disubstituted 4H-1,3,2-benzodioxasiline derivatives 2a–d with 2,2′-spirobi[4H-1,3,2-benzodioxasiline] (1) are presented in this paper. The products are nanostructured ternary organic–inorganic hybrid materials consisting of a cross-linked organic polymer, silica and a disubstituted polysiloxane. Die Synthese erfolgt dabei durch die Zwillingspolymerisation der siliziumhaltigen Zwillingsmonomere 2,2’Spirobi[4H-1,3,2-benzodioxasilin] sowie Tetrafurfuryloxysilan. Abstract:

In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Synthese und die Charakterisierung neuer Titan-oxo-Monomere beschrieben. Ein weiterer Teil beschäftigt sich mit dem kationischen Polymerisationsverhalten dieser Verbindungen, welche dem Typ der „Zwillingspolymerisationen“ zugeordnet werden kann. Die Charakterisierung der dabei entstehenden nanostrukturierten Hybridmaterialien aus Titandioxid und organischen Polymeren wird beschrieben. Als Vergleich dienen Simultanpolymerisationen von Titanalkoxiden und polymerisierbaren organischen Alkoholen.

Partielle Hydrolyse der Zinn(II)alkoxide führt zur Bildung von fünf- und sechskernigen Zinnoxidoclustern, die eine gute Löslichkeit in organischen polaren Lösungsmitteln besitzen.
