Abstract:
We present a genome assembly from an individual Rhytidiadelphus loreus gametophyte (the little shaggy moss; Bryophyta; Bryopsida; Hypnales; Hylocomiaceae). The genome sequence is 407.2 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 5 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The organelle genomes have also been assembled, and the mitochondrial genome is 104.81 kilobases and the plastid genome 124.83 kilobases in length.
