Abstract:
The number of patients with oral lichen planus (OLP) has increased due to the raise of aggressive forms of the disease (erosive, ulcerative and hyperkeratotic forms) with a possible risk of malignancy. There are isolated researches which indicate a genetic determinism to OLP, but more often these conclusions are based on insufficiently adequate and out of date methods, which make it impossible to correctly interpret the obtained data. The aim was to identify a genetical predisposition with a programmed risk to the oral lichen planus. The main group – 278 patients with the OLP (aged 26-65 years

Lichen planus is a chronic autoimmune skin-mucosal disease that often affects the oral cavity and can affect the esophagus, the mucous membrane of the genitals, the skin and its appendages. Lichenoid reactions are considered as lesions clinically similar to lichen planus erythematosus, but differing in pathogenesis, etiology and, consequently, treatment approaches. The main provoking factors of lichenoid reactions are medicines and dental materials. The aim of the study was to identify histopathological differences between lichen planus erythematosus and lichenoid reactions of the oral cavity

<strong>Abstract</strong> Lichen planus (LP) is a nodular chronic disease that occurs on the skin and visible mucous membranes. With this disease, the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and the red border of the lips are often affected. The disease is more common in women aged 40 to 65 years. The causes of lichen planus have not been fully elucidated. There are neurogenic, viral, bacterial, autoimmune theories of this disease. Recently, there has been a &quot;rejuvenation&quot; of those suffering from this disease. This is due to increased contact with a viral infection, a significant change i

It is very rare hyperkeratotic genodermatosis usually inherited in an autosomal dominant manner. Due to the marked clinical similarity of these two dermatoses crucial for the correct diagnosis is histological study of the lesion with the identification of histological feature unique for AVH - papillomatosis as a “church steeples”. Abstract:
Pigmentary disorders are frequent and more visible in patients with darker phototypes (Fitzpatrick’s IV–VI). They also have an important psychological impact and are the cause of inappropriate cosmetic practices. Pigmentary disorders comprise a wide range of pathologies, and the pathophysiological mechanisms have evolved considerably in recent years. Pigment disorders vary in their clinical presentation from achromia to hyperpigmentation to hypopigmentation. Inflammatory dermatoses, such as acne, are often complicated by postinflammatory hyperpigmentation; psoriasis and lichen planus are accompanied by dyschromia. Some skin diseases, such as mycosis fungoides, have atypical presentations in the form of hypopigmented plaques. All these dyschromias have an important impact on the quality of life and are responsible for practices such as voluntary cosmetic depigmentation with products like dermocorticoids, hydroquinone and mercury salts, and various depigmenting products. This practice is at the origin of pigmentary disorders, such as exogenous ochronosis, lichen-like and lupus-like dermatoses, and periorbital hyperpigmentation. Therapeutic management is difficult and relies on chemical (peeling), physical (laser), and medicinal means (tranexamic acid); hence, the interest is in prevention through early diagnosis and the avoidance of favorable factors.

Abstract:
The paper deals with neural networks for decision support in diagnosing in dermatology. There were several iterations during development. We classified six diseases using ANN: (1) Psoriasis, (2) Seborrheic dermatitis, (3) Lichen planus, (4) Pityriasis rosea, (5) Cronic dermatitis, (6) Pityriasis rubra pilaris. At first, we used all 35 attributes to conclude skin disease diagnosis with the accuracy of 96.9%. Then, we reduced the set of analyzed attributes by Pearson correlation approach to eight attributes and increased the accuracy to 98.64%. Data collection time was reduced. Thereby, the speed of the diagnosing process was increased and, as a result, it was possible to form a treatment plan more effectively. The tools used for neural network development were the Python language, Keras library and PyCharm platform.

The dynamics of the levels of biological markers in the oral fluid is closely related to the degree of severity of inflammatory phenomena of the oral mucosa. The concentration of squamous cell carcinoma antigen &gt;500 mcg/ml (527 mcg/ml) is characteristic of erosive-ulcerative form, &gt;1000 mcg/ml (985 mcg/ml) should be considered as a predictor of exacerbation or recurrence of lichen planus after 90 days of follow-up.

Abstract:
In modern views on the etiopathogenesis of lichen planus (LP), the leading role is given to disturbances in the immune status. The level of cytokines in the oral fluid correlates with the concentration of the squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) antigen. In 80% of patients with the erosive-ulcerative form of LP, with an increase in the SCC level in mixed saliva after treatment, clinical manifestation of the disease was diagnosed after 90 days.
