One approach to detecting deadlocks in a message-passing program is to perform reachability analysis, which involvesderiving possible global states of the program. The size of the RG of a message-passing program, in the worst case, is anexponential function of the number of processes in the program. This thesis introduces the Identical Code Cyclic Shift (ICCS) technology, where pilot signals are transmitted by time division to avoid pilot channel suffering from multi-user interference, for estimating channel more accurate. Additionally, data signal and pilot signal are multiplied by indiv

Abstract:
An evaluation of scheduling heuristics for non-identical parallel processors was performed. There has been limited research that has focused on scheduling of parallel processors. This research generalizes the results from prior work in this area and examines complex scheduling rules in terms of flow time, tardiness, and proportion of tardy jobs. Several factors affecting the system were examined and scheduling heuristics were developed. These heuristics combine job allocation and job sequencing functions. A number of system features were considered in developing these heuristics, including set

碩士<br>元智大學<br>工業工程與管理學系<br>93<br>ABSTRACT In PCB industries, the simple single machine scheduling problem has been fully investigated and no longer fulfills the sophisticated demands of production lines. Instead, the parallel machine type of production environment has become more popular nowadays. How to properly arrange the scheduling of jobs on parallel machines has attracted much research attention recently. The parallel machine scheduling problem is proved to be NP-Hard. Therefore, Meta-heuristics such as the focus of this research ant colony optimization has its merit on solving such com
