En etudiant la genese de la pensee telle qu'elle s'elabore dans des groupes culturels particuliers, on cerne ainsi les modes d'organisations logiques au sein des situations correspondant a des domaines d'exercices et la comparaison interculturelle se fait entre des geneses localement identifiees. Les etudes comparatives interculturelles peuvent donc aider a mieux connaitre les facteurs determinants de la generalisation des competences puisqu'elles donnent l'opportunite d'etudier des variables ou des situations qui ne peuvent etre analysees dans un contexte monoculturel. Dans la presente recherche, nous avons estime que le contexte de jeu traditionnel favorise la conservation du nombre et que la familiarite au jeu traditionnel facilite la comprehension du nombre chez les enfants fang de 3 a 10 ans du nord-gabon (scolarises et familiarises au jeu traditionnel "dodo" et celui des osselets). Pour evaluer la conservation du nombre, nous avons compare deux situations: l'une est une adaptation de la procedure classique de greco (1985) et l'autre est inspiree du jeu traditionnel "dodo" generalement pratique par les enfants fang. L'effet de la familiarite (novice, apprenti et expert) sur la comprehension du nombre est apprecie sur le plan des resultats en mathematiques scolaires et par rapport a l'epreuve des osselets, cela pour deux niveaux scolaires (cp et cei). Globalement, nos resultats vont dans le sens de nos hypotheses: un effet du contexte (les performances cognitives sont relativement localisees a la situation familiere) et un impact de la familiarite dans la comprehension des activites numeriques, l'ensemble sous-tend une competence generale du nombre. La construction du nombre semble alors constituer un domaine unitaire du developpement operatoire mais en meme temps, son elaboration releve de l'experience contextuelle et de la pertinence culturelle<br>In studying the genesis of thought as it develops in specific cultural groups, we thus determine the mode of logical organisations within the situations corresponding to the domains of exercise. The cross-cultural comparison is made between locally identified genesis. The comparative cross-cultural studies can thus help to know better the determining factors of the generalisation of abilities since they give the opportunity to study variables or situations which cannot be analysed in a monocultural context. In the present research, we considered that the context of a traditional game favours number conservation and that familiarity with the traditional game facilitates the understanding of numbers among the fang children of north gabon, aged 3 to 10 years (schooled and familiarised with the traditional games "dodo" and "osselets"). To evaluate number conservation, we have compared two situations: one is an adaptation of greco's (1985) classic procedure and the other is inspired by the traditional game "dodo", generally played by fang children. The effect of familiarity (novice, apprentice and expert) on the understanding of numbers is assessed by school mathematic results and in respect to the "osselets" task for the two school grades (cp and ce1). Globally, our results correspond to the direction of our hypotheses: an effect of context (the cognitive performances are somewhat localised to the familiar situation) and an impact of familiarity in the understanding of numeric activities, the whole underlies a general number ability. Number construction seems to constitute an unitary domain of operatory development but at the same time, its development depends on contextual experience and cultural relevance

Neste contexto, o desenvolvimento de uma ferramenta para inovação representa a maneira de como uma organização cria, captura e distribui valor. Esta dissertação tem o propósito de responder se é possível estruturar uma ferramenta para gerar inovação a partir dos estudos de design. Abrangendo assim, representações, características e o seu processo metodológico, bem como destacar os principais métodos e técnicas que podem ser utilizados no processo de desenvolvimento de inovação. Como procedimento metodológico utilizado, foi a pesquisa bibliográfica para a revisão da literatura. Ao longo do trabalho são relacionados conceitos de inovação, design, organizações, geração de ideia, formação de equipe, liderança, investimento, metodologia, teoria, prática, marginalidade, co-criação, empatia e cultura. Para o aprimoramento e complementaridade dos resultados, envolveu-se também um meio de avaliação: a verificação da consistência da ferramenta por meio de dois workshops. A finalidade dos workshops são de verificar a aplicação da ferramenta em equipes, com o intuito de verificar sua eficácia. Constatou-se, com essa aplicação que apesar de existirem variações entre as respostas dadas pelos integrantes das equipes nas avaliações feitas, foi possível concluir que, o design esta intrínseco no processo de inovação e que as respostas geradas a partir da aplicação da ferramenta obtiveram resultados satisfatórios.<br><br>Abstract : Innovations has benefited agility derive from new technologies, materials, concepts, providing the development of new forms of value creation and competitiveness for organizations who see their boundaries been expanded and enlarged. In this context, the development of a tool for innovation is the way how an organization creates, captures and distributes value. This dissertation aims to answer whether it is possible to devolop a tool to generate innovation from design studies. Thus encompassing representations, characteristics and the methodological process, as well as highlighting the main methods and techniques that can be used in the development of the innovation process. As a methodological procedure used was the literature and the literature search. Throughout the work are related concepts of innovation, design, organization, idea generation, team building, leadership, investment, methodology, theory, practice, marginality, co - creation, empathy and culture. To improve and complement the results, also were involved a means of evaluation: consistency checking tool through two workshops. The purpose of the workshops is to verify the application of the tool in teams, in order to verify its effectiveness. We found that, with this application though there variations between the responses given by the team members in assessments, it was concluded that this intrinsic design in the innovation process and the responses generated from the application of the tool results obtained satisfactory.

Das Unternehmen ist verantwortlich für die Brigitte-Reimann-Stadtbibliothek, die Musikschule Hoyerswerda, die Volkshochschule Hoyerswerda, das Stadtmuseum im Schloss und den Zoo Hoyerswerda. Am 1. April 2014 trat Carmen Lötsch in ihrer Heimat Offenburg die Stelle der Kulturchefin an. Vorher traf sie sich noch mit Matthias Barthel, um für BIS ein Interview zur Einführung der Onleihe in der Oberlausitz zu geben.

Abstract:
In this thesis, I explore the works of Kenneth Grahame in light of what some critics have deemed “literary paganism”. I argue that Grahame employs certain “pagan” tropes in order to launch a critique of modern culture. Grahame upholds a classical vision of leisure that rejects the ideology inherent to urbanization. His critique of modernity relies on a literary persona indicative of an alternative attitude to that of the middle class fin de siècle urban culture. His short stories add to this critique in their presentation of childhood as a pre-converted pagan existence which en-kindles a sense of disappointment with routinized adult life in the modern city. The Wind in the Willows embodies Grahame's vision of true leisure which is depicted in both the River Bank animals and their wetland ecosystem itself. By paying close attention to the pagan themes in Grahame’s writing, we gain a comprehensive view of his often misunderstood body of work.

Im nachfolgenden Beitrag wird die Frage diskutiert, welche Strukturveränderungen Städte durch klimapolitisch motivierte Stadtplanung und -gestaltung erfahren. Es wird gezeigt, dass selbst tiefgreifende Veränderungen der bestehenden Stadtstrukturen durch Resuburbanisierung und durch das Prinzip der räumlichen Konzentration von Arbeiten und Wohnen nur marginale – wenn überhaupt – Beiträge zu den sogenannten "Klimazielen" leisten, wobei diese in der Klimaforschung nicht unumstritten sind, da der kausale Zusammenhang zwischen Klimaänderung und anthropogenen Emissionen nicht eindeutig geklärt ist.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with foldable, portable and eco-friendly textile furnishing for students. Students move quite often and therefore big and heavy furniture is sometimes a problem. In this project prototypes of a hanging sofa called Idle and a hanging storage system called Hang Around are presented. These products can be pulled up to the ceiling when there is no use for them and taken down when needed. The idiom of the products communicates stability and security even though they are suitable for living in motion. The aim has been to create sustainable products that can help to maintain the feeling of home and security in the middle of a hectic and mobile life. The forms of the products and the textile patterns have been developed simultaneously. The inspiration for the pattern design comes from Northern forests. The patterns are digital printed on woollen fabric. The materials and techniques used in this project were chosen because of their limited environmental impacts. Idle and Hang Around are designed to suit the concept house Nestet, which is an eco-friendly exhibition house with solid wood construction. Cette thèse a constitué pour moi un défi largement paradoxal. En effet, ma peinture est organisée, d'une part par l'acte de peindre qui n'est pas un procédé de destruction de l'Art de peindre mais qui propose encore de nos jours, une certaine variation des formes qui vont au-delà de la peinture traditionnelle, d'autre part elle interroge ma pratique personnelle pour justifier une conception picturale dont une fraction importante de mon idée est le Signe comme Idée de Peinture qui provient du détournement du geste. Au regard de nombreuses études connues et disponibles dans les grandes bibliothèques, tant en esthétique, qu'en histoire de l'art, l'ambition de mon travail vise à élucider le débat autour du détournement: le Signe comme Idée de Peinture, tantôt la peinture accepte d'être une idée magique, tantôt elle accepte d'être une idée du sacré. Réellement, il s'agit pour moi, tout au long de cette thèse, de spécifier mon expérience picturale. Chacune de mes réalisations est d'abord une idée incarnée par la rencontre du temps et de l'espace pictural. Ma peinture dans son sens le plus ouvert, demeure ma finalité: gesticuler, cracher, marcher, danser, égoutter et installer: toutes ces actions sont les moyens qui donnent l'origine de la forme.

La première partie est centrée sur l'idée coloniale présentée comme clé de voûte du salazarisme Elle montre comment le sentiment national devient consubstantiel à l'idée coloniale, symbiose que cristallise l'intense mystique impériale orchestrée par la propagande salazariste dans les années 1930, au point de s'affirmer comme le socle intangible du régime. La deuxième partie porte sur la question de la nature du régime salazariste présenté comme plus proche d'un autoritarisme conservateur que du fascisme, soulignant notamment la figure centrale et complexe du dictateur. La troisième partie est consacrée à la postérité du salazarisme et à la mémoire de celui-ci dans le Portugal démocratique né de la Révolution des oeillets d'avril 1974. Le choix européen, conséquence à la fois de la décolonisation et de l'institutionnalisation de la démocratie, a permis aux Portugais de passer outre la disparition brutale d'un outre-mer multiséculaire, sans nourrir, pour l'heure, de véritable "guerre des mémoires"<br>The first part focuses on the colonial idea presented as the keystone of salazarism. It shows how the national sentiment becomes consubstantial of the colonial idea, throughout the intense impreial mystic orchestrated by the salazarist propaganda in the 1930s, to the extent of asserting itself as the intangible base of the regime. The second part focuses on the question of the salazarist regime nature presented as close to a conservative authoritarianism much than fascism, emphasizing the key figure, central and complex, of the dictator. The third part focuses on the posterity of salazarism and its memory in democratic Portugal, since the revolution of April 1974. The European choice, consequence both of the decolonization and of the institutionalization of the democracy, allowed the Portuguese to override the brutal disappearance of centuries-old overseas, without creating, till yet, an absolute war of memories

Abstract:
Nowadays the term "technocracy", which means the elimination of politics by the rule of scientific reasoning, is most often used with a quite negative overtone. Technocrats are described as experts without morals, able to function in any kind of political system. Nevertheless one should remember that the technocratic idea contained from the very beginning a strong ethic element: conventional political power as an instrument of repression should be replaced by the rule of sciences as an instrument to improve human life. Although the idea of eliminating politics by "science-based" decisions of an autocratic leadership has been widely used to legitimate totalitarian rule, it is obvious, that clear technocratic reasoning and decision making do not go conform with the functioning of a totalitarian system. On the contrary, technic and technologic innovation accelerated the breakdown of totalitarianism. The complex character of modern societies calls for regulation by markets and pluralistic political systems. The evolution of our technical civilization improved the conditions for democratic selforganisation.

Abstract:
In this thesis the idle speed control problem in gasoline, port fuel injected engines is examined. A new nonlinear engine model is suggested which evolves in the discrete, (combustion) event based, domain and while it is intuitively sensible, it nevertheless accurately captures the behaviour of the engine whilst in the idle mode. As a logical consequence of this model, a new linearising framework is suggested which takes account of the nature of the combustion system and allows a single linear controller to control the idle speed throughout the idle speed/load envelope. Of particular significance and novelty is the second output from the new framework which is the torque reserve of the engine. This not only creates a 'square' system but also enables the engine controller to affect on ine the trade-off between disturbance rejection effectiveness and engine operating efficiency. The nature of the framework means that the high fidelity representation of the engine system is achieved with significantly less calibration effort than traditional representations. The base controller for the idle control system in the new framework is designed using the <I>H</I><SUB>∞</SUB> loop shaping synthesis technique. Effective anti-windup and bumpless transfer functionality is motivated and successfully implemented with demonstrable benefits. Logical enhancements to the system involving feedforward knowledge and anticipation of loads are incorporated in a transparent way. The model, controller and all enhancements are validated in the engine test cell. The final controller shows a drastic improvement in performance <I>and</I> fuel economy over conventional idle speed control techniques.

Abstract:
En questionnant l’Architecture à travers différents exemples et périodes jusqu’à notre monde contemporain, nous obtenons beaucoup de réponses à des interrogations existentielles qui nous semblent énigmatiques. Le phénomène de communication ou d’expression par l’architecture, n’est pas indépendant de l’antagonisme qui a abouti au clash des civilisations. Par sa « Présence » l’architecture configure le monde de l’homme, répondant à ses besoins matériels mais aussi à ses aspirations, rêves et idéaux. Elle porte en elle ses « Idées » reflète sa « vision » et communique ses « Messages ». Elle seule peut l’enchanter par l’édification d’un monde nouveau. Mais elle peut aussi le détruire en agressant ses sens et en polluant ses esprits par les idées qu’elle reflète. L’œuvre architecturale marque aussi le lieu par sa présence, elle le poinçonne et devient « symbole » ou « image », repère, jalon dans un parcours international qui revêt l’aspect d’un défi, voire une nouvelle guerre de puissance au travers de bâtiments emblématiques. Cette architecture que nous appelons « Landmark » devient un paradigme essentiel de « présence » et de mutation. Sa mission essentielle est d’être au-delà de l’instrument, un précepte de communication toujours plus innovateur. L’architecture, par cette nouvelle dimension, devient un facteur inéluctable de stabilité et de continuation du monde. Un convoyeur de l’avenir non seulement un miroir du passé. The phenomenon of communication or expression through architecture is somehow related to antagonism that led to the clash of civilizations. By its “presence”, the architecture configures the world of man, satisfying his material needs, as well as their dreams but also his dreams and ideals. Architecture carries his “Ideas” reflects his “vision” and communicates his “Messages”. More than anything else, it can enchant him by building e new world. However, it can also destroy him by violating his senses, polluting his spirit by the ideas it conveys. The architectural world also marks the place by its presence, it becomes a “symbol” or “image”, a landmark in the international journey which presents itself as a challenge, or even a new conflict of power through emblematic buildings. This architectural that we call “Landmark” becomes an essential paradigm of “presence” and mutation. Its essential mission is to go beyond the instrumental, an inevitable factor of stability and continuity of the world. A path towards the future, not only a reflexion of the past. This debate, in relation with a new dimension of architecture, combines itself with the fourth dimension and goes even further, looking for the true reason of the world’s survival through architecture and time. This aspect, in relation with communication, and which is present in the sociological and historical discourse, deserves to be studies more thoroughly by us architects. Différentes questions sont passées en revue, les caractéristiques de l'idée esthétique, les contraintes du matériau verbal, le rôle de la situation d'énonciation spécifique au discours romanesque dans le fonctionnement de l'interprétation et de la référence et la portée de l'idée romanesque comme alternative à la signification. De cet examen résulte la mise au jour de certains traits caractéristiques de l'écriture romanesque de Victor Hugo : la mise en avant du travail matériel de l'écriture sur l'abstraction du concept, de l'impression sensible sur la démonstration logique, le travail de l'hétérogène, la mise en place d'un espace implicite fonde sur l'agencement contextuel de séries et une forte dimension polyphonique qui fait une place importante à la réception. Ce travail est né du constat de l’absence d’une histoire, fondée et argumentée, de la prospective. Le débat, parfois vif, sur l’existence ou non d’une École française de prospective nous a semblé révélateur de cette carence. Aussi, dans une perspective épistémologique, nous sommes nous attachés à jeter les bases de cette histoire, et plus particulièrement à en décrire la genèse : de la naissance de l’idée dans la pensée d’un philosophe, Gaston Berger, à l’émergence d’un nouveau paradigme de la décision publique dans la société française, entre 1955 et 1975. Ce travail montre que l’idée de prospective s’inscrit dans la pensée originale d’un homme, nourrie de savoirs pluriels, de la philosophie à la psychologie, en passant par les sciences politiques. Il montre également comment, grâce à la participation active d’un certain nombre d’acteurs du pouvoir économique et politique, cette idée s’est transformée en une méthode, puis s’est diffusée dans la société française. Cette histoire fait ainsi apparaître la prospective comme une réflexion concrète, consacrée à rendre l’action efficace pour l’homme. Appuyée sur une critique de la raison historique et de la décision publique, elle va chercher à donner du sens au présent à partir de l’avenir, en réconciliant la sagesse, réflexion sur les finalités, et la puissance, élaboration de moyens<br>This work arose from the observation that there was no established, debated history of foresight (la prospective). Although fierce at times, debate on the very existence of a French School of foresight confirmed this void. Also, from an epistemological perspective, we opted to lay the groundwork for the history, especially its evolution, from the embryonic idea of philosopher Gaston Berger, to the emergence of a new paradigm of public decision-making in French society between 1955 and 1975. This thesis shows how the idea of foresight fits in the original thinking of one man with broad knowledge ranging from philosophy to psychology to political science. It also shows how the active participation of a number of actors within the spheres of political and economic power enabled this idea to grow into a method which then spread throughout French society. This history also reveals foresight, or prospective, as a concrete form of reflection, devoted to making action efficient for mankind. Based on a critical review of historical reason and public decision-making, this thesis seeks to give sense to the present using the future by bringing together wisdom, reflection upon endpoints, power and the creation of means

L’objectif fondamental de cette thèse consistait, après avoir relevé la complexité du lien entre l’économie et l’environnement, à mettre en évidence d’une part, les différents travaux et analyses sur la théorie des havres de pollution ainsi que les théories concurrentes et d’autre part, à apporter une contribution empirique à cette théorie. Ainsi, en évaluant empiriquement l’attractivité de l’Amérique latine et de l’Europe pour les entreprises manufacturières espagnoles appartenant auxsecteurs réputés polluants, on s’est évertué à montrer que les déterminants de cet attrait vers ces deux régions ne suivent pas la même trajectoire. Pour ce faire, nous utilisons un modèle gravitaire développé au moyen de l’économétrie des données de panel. C’est autour de ces points centraux que se sont articulés les quatre chapitres de notre thèse. Nos résultats valident l’existence d’effets de havres de pollution en Amérique latine, renforçant ainsi les conclusions tirées par les défenseurs de cette théorie. Ainsi, les localisations des industries polluantes espagnoles dans cetterégion sont déterminées par la présence simultanée des économies d’agglomération, d’une main d’oeuvre qualifiée et un engagement environnemental faible conjugué à un climat institutionnel douteux caractérisé par une présence massive de l’Etat dans l’économie et une banalisation de la corruption. Il convient de préciser que cette présence espagnole semble moins concernée par les libertés politiques et civiles dans la région, par les niveaux d’imposition et par la taille du marché domestique. Concernant la présence espagnole dans les pays européens, ce sont plutôt lesstratégies horizontales qui paraissent dominer les politiques d’internationalisation des entreprises polluantes espagnoles. Ces dernières semblent prêter bien plus d’attention à des facteurs tels que la qualité de la main-d’oeuvre, la performance des infrastructures, les économies d’agglomération et l’accès au marché qu’à la sévérité de la politique environnementale locale<br>We have plotted a complex link between Economy and Environment, consequently we could determined the main objective of this thesis which was on one hand to highlight various papers and studies about the theory of contamination havens and about others competitive theories, and on another hand, to propose an empirical contribution to these theories. Thus, by evaluating the attractiveness of Latin America and Europe for Spanish manufacturing corporations involved in sectors known as contaminated, we focused on the fact that the determinants of this attract to both regions don’t follow the same way. In order to fulfill this specific study, we have used a gravity model developed using econometric panel data. Indeed, we have built our four main chapters of the thesis around these major points. The results obtained can argue that effects of contamination havens effectively exist in Latin America, strengthening conclusions put out by the defenders of this theory. Moreover, the place where are located Spanish contaminating manufacturing in thisregion are determined by the existence of agglomeration economies, skilled labor market, a weak engagement in environment issues united to a high level of corruption governmental institutions.In consequence, we can add that the Spanish government in this zone feels less concerned by the quality of way of life and liberty of citizens than by levels of taxes and size of domestic market. Concerning the Spanish implementation of strategies in these Europeans countries, the most relevant are horizontal strategies which seem to dominate internationalization process in Spanish contaminating manufacturing. These ones seem to pay attention to the quality of skilled labor forces, strength of infrastructure, agglomeration economies and access to the market more than the control of environmental local policies

Weiterhin wurde untersucht, welche didaktischen Anforderungen prinzipiell an eine schulische Entwicklungsumgebung zu stellen sind. Auf Basis dieser Untersuchungen sowie durch gezielte Befragung von Fachlehrern sowie Experten sind die Anforderungen an eine solche IDE verifiziert und diese schließlich implementiert worden.

Abstract:
This interdisciplinary thesis explores the connection between mental health and lifestyle in the eighteenth century. The thesis draws upon scholarly and medical writings on melancholy, from Robert Burton‘s Anatomy of Melancholy (1622) onwards, and consider these works alongside eighteenth-century literary representations and biographical testimonies from those suffering from melancholy. The thesis provides a new perspective and understanding of the terms in which depression and other associated nervous illnesses were medicalised in the eighteenth century. I argue against recent scholarly work which regards melancholy as a label interchangeable with nervous illnesses such as vapours, spleen and hysteria. I argue that in the eighteenth century melancholy was a clearly identified medical condition in its own right and that it was a depressive illness which can be closely related to today‘s depression. The thesis argues that there is a direct link between idleness and the melancholy state of mind and that a depressed state of mind was often the result of an idle lifestyle. Melancholy is also considered in relation to gender and the idle lifestyle that many females were forced to adopt. It then focuses upon three prominent literary figures: Samuel Johnson, William Shenstone and William Cowper, all of whom suffered from depression. The thesis considers Johnson‘s preoccupation with idleness as a symptom of his melancholy, a notion that has received little critical attention. Shenstone‘s experience is used to illustrate the depressing effect that a retired lifestyle could have on the individual. I argue that his melancholy was largely caused by the conflict created between his decision to live the idle lifestyle of a country gentleman and his desire to remain amongst society. Finally I re-evaluate the account of the mental turmoil expressed by Cowper in his spiritual autobiography Adelphi and provide evidence that suggests Cowper may have feigned the symptoms of religious melancholy in an attempt to resist the pressures placed upon him to follow a profession. Ultimately the thesis reveals that, in the eighteenth century, idleness was regarded as a major cause of, and symptom of, melancholy. Idleness was also seen as an obstruction to one of the most widely prescribed methods of cure for melancholy: occupation.
