Over the years, slang expressions generally have been looked at as language of the never-do-good in the society, especially among the youths inspired by constant abuse of hard drugs and other dangerous substance. Yet, these expressions have gained wide acceptance among speakers of the language both home and abroad and even among the adults these days. Igbo slang is not left out of this revolution. However, the Igbo people in Nigeria had their own management practice and leadership styles that were peculiar to them before the emergence of the management theories, which was why the Igbos were able to survive the indirect rule and brutal economic exploitation during the colonial era, and immediately after the civil war. This study, therefore, examined the role Igbo culture played in the development of management theories. The study specifically identified some specific I

The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, or Gustavus Vassa, the African, Written by Himself is a work of autobiography first published in 1789. It is one of the first written works by an African of the diaspora and served as a model for much literature that was to follow. Equiano was a member of the Igbo (or Ibo) ethnic group in what is now Nigeria. The book details his capture and enslavement in West Africa, his horrific passage to Barbados, and his sale into slavery there. Parallel themes of the book are his adoption of Christianity and his learning to read.

Monolithically integrable detectors are defined as detectors whose fabrication is completely compatible with the design rules used in the standard integrated circuit fabrication. An interdigitated electrode geometry permits both the ready integration of these detectors into electronic IC topologies and the use of a large detection area in conjunction with a low device capacitance. The large detector area improves the signal strength available for amplification, while the low capacitance extends the high-frequency bandwidth. To date, most interdigitated detectors reported in the literature are
