O objetivo deste artigo é descrever o disclosure voluntário socioambiental em cooperativas agropecuárias brasileiras. A fim de atingir o objetivo traçado, foram analisados os relatórios anuais presentes nos websites de uma amostra não-probabilística das maiores cooperativas agropecuárias brasileiras, referentes ao período de 2015. Para a análise dos dados, foram utilizadas as médias por subcategoria e três índices de avalição de disclosure: Índice de Disclosure (ID), Índice de Disclosure das Empresas (IDE) e Índice Geral de Disclosure das Empresas (IGDE), Índice Geral de Disclosure social (IGDs). Além disso, foi desenvolvido um quinto índice de avaliação do disclosure: o Índice Geral de Disclosure ambiental (IGDa). Os resultados obtidos permitem afirmar que há mais divulgações de informações sociais do que ambientais, com destaque para, relação com empregados, preocupação com a comunidade e com educação, e que ainda falta muito para alcançar uma boa aderência de disclosure voluntário socioambiental pelas cooperativas agropecuárias analisadas.

Although the IGD amino acid motif (iso-gly-asp) is a highly conserved feature of the fibronectin type I module, no biological activity has as yet been ascribed to it. We have previously reported that the gelatin-binding domain of fibronectin stimulates the migration of human skin fibroblasts into native, but not denatured, type I collagen substrata. Two IGD-containing type I modules are present within the gelatin-binding domain. The object of this study was to ascertain whether soluble synthetic peptides containing the IGD motif stimulate fibroblast migration. We found that IGD peptides stimulated fibroblast migration in the following order of activity: IGDS (as present in the ninth type I module) > IGDQ (as present in the seventh type I module) > IGD. The scrambled SDGI peptide and the well-characterised RGDS peptide were devoid of motogenic activity. The migratory response of fibroblasts to IGD-containing peptides consisted of two distinct phases: an initial period of peptide-mediated cell activation and a subsequent period of enhanced migration manifest in the absence of further IGD peptide. Cell activation was substratum-independent (occurring equally well on both native and denatured type I collagen substrata), whilst the manifestation of enhanced migration was persistent and substratum-dependent (being evident only by cells adherent to a native collagen substratum). Our data further indicated that cell activation (1) is elicited by a signal transduction cascade occurring within minutes of cell exposure to IGD-containing peptides, (2) is dependent upon integrin alphavbeta3 functionality, (3) involves the tyrosine phosphorylation of focal adhesion kinase (ppFAK125) and (4) is inhibited by signalling mediated through integrin alpha5beta1. The expression of migration stimulating activity by soluble IGD-containing peptides clearly distinguishes them from their RGD counterparts. This is the first identified biological activity of the highly conserved IGD motif and provides a rational platform for the development of a novel family of therapeutic compounds designed to stimulate cell migration in relevant clinical situations, such as impaired wound healing.

Despite the increasing research attention being paid to gaming disorder globally, a screening tool developed specifically for the Chinese population is still lacking. This study aims to address this gap by constructing a screening tool to assess Internet gaming disorder (IGD) symptomology, defined by the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), among Chinese gamers. Based on expert interviews and consultations, a focus group of gamers, a background literature review, and the IGD criteria proposed by the DSM-5, we developed the Chinese Internet Gaming Disorder Checklist (C-IGDC). This study evaluated its dimensional structure, reliability, validity, and screening efficacy with 464 Chinese past-year gamers (53% female; mean age = 19.84). The two-level structure of the 27-item C-IGDC showed a satisfactory model fit, acceptable reliability, as well as good validity via expected associations with Internet addiction, gameplay frequency, and depressive symptoms. The optimal screening cutoff score (≥20) was proposed to detect probable IGD cases. The C-IGDC is the first DSM-5-based, multidimensional IGD screening tool designed specifically for Chinese gamers. Further evaluation of the C-IGDC in epidemiological studies and clinical settings is recommended.

Background: IgA nephropathy (IgAN) is most common primary glomerulopathy. There are variations in prevalence of IgAN and its clinical features in different studies from India.
 Aim: To summarize overall scenario of IgAN in India.
 Methods: In this systematic review, studies related to IgAN and related renal disease were included. Data searched were PubMed, EMBASE, Google scholar, and Cochrane Database from inception to 31st January 2019.
 Results: Total 49 studies (N=2480) were included: 21studies (N=2309) of primary IgAN; 19 studies (N=21) of Secondary IgAN; four studies (N=133) of IgA vasculitis nephropathy (IgAVN); and five studies (N=17) of IgA dominant nephropathy (IgADN). Prevalence of IgAN was 16.5% in India. Age of affected persons was ranging from 27.2±16.7 to 48.6±21.3 years . Male female ratio was 1.8:1. Clinical features of Primary IgAN, IgAVN, IgADN & Secondary IgAN were microscopic hematuria (49.6%, 44.4%, 15.6% & 59.5%), macroscopic hematuria (5.1%, 0.4%,40.9%,& 35.7%), Subnephrotic proteinuria (42.1%, 29.4%, 23.2%, & 52.3%), nephrotic proteinuria (16.0%, 4.4%, 76.8%,& 47.6%), and hypertension (25.8%,18.3%, 35.5%,& 47.6%).. The 24 hours proteinuria was ranging from 2.6±1.5 to 4.7±2.3 gm/day and serum creatinine (mg/dl) was ranging from 0.9±0 to 3.5±3.9 mg/dl. Histolomorphologically, all type of IgAN showed mesangial hypercellularity and Immunofluorescence revealed IgA deposition.
 Conclusion: The overall prevalence of primary IgAN in India was 16.5%. The subnephrotic proteinuria and microscopic hematuria were common clinical features.

Abstract PECAM-1 is a 130 kDa member of the immunoglobulin gene (Ig) superfamily that is present on the surface of circulating platelets and leukocytes, and highly expressed at the junctions of confluent endothelial cell monolayers. PECAM-1-mediated homophilic interactions, known to be mediated by its two amino-terminal Ig homology domains, are essential for concentrating PECAM-1 at endothelial cell intercellular junctions, where it functions to sense flow, regulate leukocyte transendothelial migration, maintain vascular integrity, and transmit survival signals into the cell. Mutagenesis studies have implicated amino acids on either side of the face of IgD1 in homophilic binding, however the spatial orientation of this domain, the role that IgD2 plays in positioning IgD1 to participate in PECAM-1 homophilic interactions, and the contribution of its sialylated glycans to homophilic PECAM-1/PECAM-1 interactions remain to be critically explored. Complicating things further, PECAM-1 forms dimers and oligomers within the plane of the plasma membrane. The structural features of PECAM-1 responsible for maintaining the PECAM-1/PECAM-1 homophilic contacts necessary for carrying out these activities, however, have heretofore remained unresolved. Given the importance of PECAM-1-mediated homophilic interactions in mediating each of these cell physiological events, and to reveal the nature and orientation of the PECAM-1-PECAM-1 homophilic binding interface, we undertook studies aimed at determining the crystal structure of the PECAM-1 homophilic binding domain. The structure of IgD1-D2 was determined by multi-crystal anomalous diffraction and refined at 2.8 Å resolution. Interestingly, PECAM-1 crystallized as a strand-swapped dimer, a feature that has been seen in the crystal structures of many other members of the Ig superfamily, including cadherins, NCAM2, CTLA-4, and CD47. The homophilic interface between adjacent IgD1 domains was large, with a total buried interface of 1608 Å2. In addition to the large IgD1/IgD1 interface, interdomain contacts were found between IgD1/IgD2, and IgD2/IgD2 that likely reinforce the PECAM-1/PECAM-1 homophilic interactions that form as a consequence of the large number of PECAM-1 molecules that become concentrated at endothelial cell-cell borders as a result of diffusion trapping. Taken together, these results provide atomic-level detail to the unique architecture of the interface that forms the most abundant component of the endothelial cell intercellular junction. Over the last decade, internet gaming has been a fast-growing recreational activity. Gamers risk their leisure activity becoming an addiction. In the present study, we aimed to measure the prevalence of Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) in an adult population of video game players and to investigate the association between demographic variables, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) traits, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) severity, and IGD in adults. Through an online survey, we recruited 4260 individuals aged between 18 and 55 years old, who were members of online communities of video gamers. We collected demographic data and administered three questionnaires: the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form (IGD9-SF), the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ), and the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS). Of the overall sample, 29.67% scored above the cut-off of 21 points for the IGD9-SF. Multiple linear regression models showed that daily spare time, autistic traits, and ADHD symptoms were positively associated with the severity of IGD in adults, after controlling for demographic variables. Future studies are required in order to explore factors linked to IGD in adults.

Idiopathic gastroduodenal ulcers (IGD) are stomach and duodenal ulcers not associated with Helicobacter pylori infection or with the administration of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Their relative frequency ranges from 1.6 to 35%, and is likely to be overestimated due to frequent false negative test results. The etiology and pathogenesis of IGDH remain poorly understood. Factors contributing to their development can serve as old age, hereditary predisposition, disorders of gastric mucus, mesenteric ischemia. Compared to the positive peptic ulcer disease, PYLORI is characterized by less favorable course, higher frequency of gastrointestinal bleeding (including repeated), slow healing, more frequent recurrence. Treatment of IGD involves long-term use of proton pump inhibitors (PPI).

Internet addiction is currently considered a worldwide problem, with a possible impact on mental health. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of internet gaming disorder (IGD) among Italian young adults and to explore its association with psychopathological symptoms. Our sample included 566 young adults (324 males/242 females; age: 22.74 ± 4.83 years). Participants were asked to state their favorite games and complete the following questionnaires: the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale Short Form (IGD9-SF); the APA symptom checklist, based on DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for IGD; the Symptom Checklist-90 Revised (SCL-90 R); and the Social Adaptation Self Evaluation Scale (SASS). Use of video games was common among study participants (95% of the sample). Thirty subjects (5.3% of the sample) matched criteria for a clinical diagnosis of IGD. Data showed a positive correlation between higher use of online games and higher levels of depression (r = 0.501), anxiety (r = 0.361) and psychoticism (r = 0.431), and lower family and extra-family relationships (r = −0.383). At linear regression analysis, somatization (p = 0.002), depression (p = 0.001) and sleep disturbances (p = 0.003) were predictors of IGD diagnosis. IGD was significantly associated to mental health distress. Healthcare professionals should be aware of the problematic consequences of online gaming.

Abstract Endothelial integrity is a critical parameter of hemostasis, and loss of barrier function contributes to the etiology and pathogenesis of both autoimmune and infectious disease. PECAM-1 is a cellular adhesion and signaling receptor comprised of six extracellular immunoglobulin (Ig) – like homology domains, a short transmembrane domain, and a 118 amino acid cytoplasmic domain that becomes serine and tyrosine phosphorylated upon activation. PECAM-1 is a major constituent of the endothelial cell intercellular junction, where up to 2 x 106 molecules concentrate upon cell-cell contact. Previous studies have shown that PECAM-1–PECAM-1 homophilic interactions mediated by N-terminal Ig domain 1 (IgD1) are required for border localization, and contribute importantly to steady-state endothelial cell barrier stability as well as the ability of the vascular endothelium to recover, both in vitro and in vivo, following inflammatory or hemostatic challenge. To examine whether the homophilic adhesive properties of PECAM-1 might be subject to regulation, we prepared phospholipid bilayer nanodiscs containing purified, full-length PECAM-1 and examined their ability to bind intact PECAM-1-expressing cells. Preliminary transmission electron microscopy studies indicated that PECAM-1-containing nanodiscs harbored a single, high-density refraction shadow, suggesting the presence of a single inserted PECAM-1 protein per nanodisc. Binding of these nanodiscs to either human umbilical vein endothelial cells or to PECAM-1-transfected HEK 293 cells required IgD1, as Fab fragments of the IgD1-specific monoclonal antibody (mAb), PECAM-1.3, completely blocked their binding. Interestingly, Fab fragments of mAbs PECAM-1.2 or 4G6, which bind closely-spaced epitopes within membrane-proximal IgD6, were found to enhance PECAM-1 nanodisc binding by 200-300%, suggesting that they induced a conformational change leading to a high-affinity form of PECAM-1. In support of this notion, rotary-shadowed electron micrographs of the purified PECAM-1 ectodomain revealed an ensemble of straight and bent molecular isoforms, reminiscent of conformational isomorphs that exist among members of the integrin family of adhesion receptors. Finally, to determine whether regulatable affinity modulation of this Ig superfamily member might be exploited to enhance or reinforce endothelial cell-cell borders, endothelial cell monolayer resistance was quantitatively measured using Electric Cell-substrate Impedance Sensing (ECIS), a real-time reporter of barrier function. As predicted, IgD1-specific mAb PECAM-1.3 delayed barrier recovery following thrombin-induced disruption of the endothelial cell monolayer, while IgD6-specific mAb PECAM-1.2 markedly enhanced the rate of barrier restoration. Both antibodies were without effect on endothelial cell monolayers in which PECAM-1 had been knocked down using a lentivirally-introduced PECAM-1 siRNA. Taken together, these data demonstrate that the homophilic binding affinity of PECAM-1 can be enhanced by IgD6-specific antibodies, and suggest a novel therapeutic modality for treating vascular endothelial injury-related disorders. Purpose of the study: The main objective of this study is to examine the risk factors for internet gaming disorder (IGD). Specifically, it aims to: measure the severity of internet gaming among Filipino students; describe their internet gaming characteristic; and, identify which among the risk factors predict IGD.
 Methodology: Students who displayed five or more symptoms in the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale – Short Form (IGD9-SF) were identified. The internet gaming characteristics, Brief Self Control Scale (BSCS) to identify self-control levels, and Mini-IPIP for the personality of the participants were also collected. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and linear regression analysis to identify the significant risk factors for IGD using SPSS 17.0.
 Main Findings: Internet gaming characteristics such as time spent, money spent, and devices used were significant risk factors to IGD. Psychological factors such as self-control and personality traits (agreeableness and openness) were established and were also significant risk factors. The lower the self-control the higher the risk of developing IGD, as well as the more agreeable and open the gamers are the higher the risk to IGD.
 Applications of this study: Researchers and therapists should focus on developing intervention methods focusing on minimizing the device's exposure to lessen time and money spent in gaming as well as strengthening the self-control of the gamers. 
 Novelty/Originality of this study: This psychological inquiry contributed to the emerging psychological disorder IGD shedding light on its current debates and controversies. This established risk factors to IGD among Filipino students who are time spent, money spent, devices used, self-control, and personality factors such as agreeableness and openness.

In a public government inquiry that was released in March 2008 a proposal about reintroducing a final degree in upper secondary school was presented. A final degree has not been a part of the upper secondary school science 1968. Why was the system with a final degree abounded and why do the government want to reintroduce it?</p><p>Research in pedagogy has through the years presented numbers of theories about assessment. In last decades a great part of the discussion has been focused on formative assessment. In formative assessment the assessment is used as a pedagogy tool. The purpose is to help the student develop their learning process and to learn to work independently. The contrary to formative assessment is assessment which only purpose is to summarise and control the level of knowledge a student possesses.</p><p>The public government inquiry that led to abolish of a final degree in upper secondary school in 1968 shared many thoughts with theories about formative assessment. Forty years later the government has grown sick of all the formative assessment, which they think has led to a “muddled” school. The public government inquiry presented in 2008 wants to reintroduce a final degree and create a school where the student’s knowledge is orderly controlled and summarised.</p></p>

Studien avser att belysa dels ett historiskt perspektiv hos MKB Fastighets AB:s organisationsförändring under Allan Karlssons ledning på 1990-talet, dels avser studien att undersöka hur dagens organisationskultur yttrar sig och dels hur den rådande kulturen förmodas integrera med en leanimplementering. Syftet är att utifrån dessa tre perspektiv skildra den rådande organisationskulturen samt genomföra en tolkning om organisationskulturen är enhetlig eller splittrad med existerande subkulturer. Frågeställningarna berör kulturen på 1990-talet, hur förvaltningsområdena framställs, respondenternas skildring av samhörighet och konsensus i organisationen, hur respondenterna ser på organisationsförändringen samt respondenternas syns på ledningen. Den teoretiska referensramen i studien lyfter fram vikten av att en organisationsförändring påverkar flera organisatoriska dimensioner. Organisationskulturen har makten att påverka organisationsförändringar och skapa inkonsekvenser som utvecklar subkulturer. Förändringsledarskapet lyfts fram som en viktig del i att kontrollera motståndet och påverka både organisationsförändring och organisationskulturen. Leanfilosofin innebär att införa en ny organisationskultur som genererar tydligare struktur och ökad delaktighet.Undersökningen är en kvalitativ fallstudie med en hermeneutikisk och en fenomenologisk ansats. Datainsamlingen grundades i ett strategiskt urval av elva respondenter, varav tio förvaltare och en styrgruppsmedlem. Det empiriska materialet sammanställdes utifrån intervjuer med respondenterna, resultatet bygger även på projektbeskrivningen, årsredovisningen och MKB Vågade (Aunér, 2001). Analysen av empirin gav insikt om att det fanns en stark självbestämmande kultur, bristande vetskap om leanimplementeringen, stora meningsskiljaktigheter mellan ledning och operativ personal samt att ett nätverkande kommunikationssystem i form av lobbyverksamhet som existerar i organisationen.

<p>Kvinnan kan du sälja igen -och- igen -och- igen, tills hon är död.</p><p>Så säger Iluta Laca, ordförande i Martacenter i Riga och en av deltagarna på Palmedagarna i Västerås under hösten 2005. Laca arbetar med att hindra att flickor hamnar i trafficking men även med att rehabilitera redan utsatta.</p><p>Trafficking är inget nytt fenomen, redan under 1800-talets senare hälft fanns det prostituerade från Europa i Buenos Aires och i Indien. Detta kallas för den ”vita slavhandeln”. Den ersattes senare av den ”svarta slavhandeln” som kan delas in i fyra vågor och handlar om kvinnor som kommit till västvärlden. I den första vågen kom kvinnorna från Asien, i den andra från Sydamerika och i den tredje från Afrika. Nu i den fjärde vågen kommer kvinnorna från Central- och Östeuropa. Det fanns knappast några kvinnor från dessa länder före 1992. Enligt FN kan så många som 2 miljoner människor per år falla offer för trafficking. Uppskattningsvis tjänar de kriminella grupperna 7 miljarder dollar per år på verksamheten. Då handlar det inte bara om trafficking för sexuella syften utan t.ex. även arbetskraftsexploatering. Vinsterna i trafficking är jämförbara med smuggling av droger och vapen. Den stora förtjänsten med trafficking, både den i sexuellt syfte och arbetskraftsexploatering, ligger bland annat i att människor kan säljas om och om igen.</p><p>Den här uppsatsen handlar om hur fem olika organisationer i Sverige diskuterar fenomenet trafficking av kvinnor för sexuella ändamål. Det empiriska materialet i studien består av intervjuer med representanter från organisationerna Kvinna Till Kvinna, Kvinnoforum, Palmecentret, Riksförbundet för sexuell upplysning (RFSU) och Riksorganisationen för kvinnojourer och tjejjourer i Sverige (ROKS). Även tryckt material från organisationerna som tar upp fenomenet finns med i empirin.</p>

Malmö är en av många kommuner i Sverige som planerar att införa ett system för insamling och hantering av det matavfall som uppstår inom kommunen. När det gäller villahushållen inom kommunen så är målet att minst 32 procent av dem frivilligt ska välja att sortera ut sitt matavfall fr.o.m. år 2009. Att deltagandet ska vara frivilligt ställer höga krav på den initiala informationskampanj som VA SYD, kommunalbolaget som ansvarar för insamlingen, avser att genomföra i syfte att få med så många villahushåll som möjligt. Denna undersökning har avsett att utifrån tre fokusgruppsintervjuer med villaägare från områdena Djupadal, Kastanjegården och Riseberga i Malmö identifiera vilka faktorer det är som påverkar deras vilja och möjligheter att sortera ut sitt matavfall. Efter detta har vi undersökt vilka hinder och möjligheter dessa faktorer kan medföra om man genom kommunikation avser att på lång sikt influera Malmös villahushåll till att frivilligt sortera ut sitt matavfall. Ur undersökningens resultat kan man bl.a. utläsa att en miljöstyrande avfallstaxa med en lägre avgift för de villahushåll som sorterar ut sitt matavfall är ett starkt incitament. Hur mycket lägre avgiften blir är oväsentligt utan det är principen som är viktig. Feedback i form av konkreta och reella exempel om vad det insamlade matavfallet används till och vilken nytta det gör för miljön är viktigt att ge frekvent till villahushållen. Kärlen upplevs som fula och något som tar plats. Ett sätt att skapa positiv uppmärksamhet kring kärlen kan vara att erbjuda tryck på dem. Det är väldigt viktigt att kommunen ger så goda förutsättningar som möjligt för villahushållen att sortera ut sitt matavfall. Om systemets tekniska aspekter fungerar bra så signalerar det trovärdighet och seriositet och blir en motivation för hushållen att göra sin del, dvs. sortera ut sitt matavfall. För att omvända negativa attityder hos hushållen bör man hänvisa till erfarenheter från andra kommuner som samlar in matavfall från villahushåll. Genom bilder och reportage kan dessa utgöra förebilder för Malmös villahushåll.<br>Malmö is one of many municipalities in Sweden that are planning to adopt a system for collecting and handling the food waste generated within it. The goal is that at least 32 percent of the house owners within the municipality will choose to volunteer to sort out their food waste from 2009. To make their participation voluntary demands a high standard on the initial information campaign that VA SYD, the municipal corporation that is responsible for the collection, is planning to carry out with the purpose of getting as many house owners as possible to participate. This study has intended to, based on three focus group interviews with house owners from the districts of Djupadal, Kastanjegården and Riseberga in Malmö, identify what factors are influencing their willingness and opportunity to sort out their food waste. We then studied what barriers and opportunities those factors may involve if you by communicational means intend to influence Malmö’s house owners to voluntarily sort out their food waste long term. From our studies results you can deduce that an environmentally controlled waste tax with a lower fee for those who sort out their food waste is a strong incentive. How much lower is not important since it’s the principle that matters. It is important to give frequent feedback to the house owners in the form of substantial and intrinsic examples about what the collected food waste is used for, and what good it does for the environment. The containers are believed to be ugly and something that seizes up space. One way to create positive attention around the containers is to offer print on them. It is very important that the municipal council gives as good prerequisites as possible for the house owners to sort out their food waste. If the technical aspects of the system work well it signals credibility and seriousity and can motivate the house owners to do their part that is, sorting out their food waste. To convert negative attitudes within the house owners you should refer to experiences from other municipalities that are collecting food waste from house owners. By pictures and coverage’s with their house owners they can act as role models for Malmö’s house owners.

<p>Likviditetsfällan är en ekonomisk anomali där expansiv penningpolitik blir verkningslös för att transmissionsmekanismen genom vilken penningmängdsökningar påverkar produktionen inte fungerar normalt. Makroteorin tenderar att bortse från de delar av teorin som krävs för att analysera likviditetsfällan. Det handlar främst om elasticiteten i efterfrågan på realbalans och hur den påverkar LM-kurvans lutning. Klassisk IS-LM-analys tenderar dessutom att inte betona den intertemporala dimensionen i konsumtions- och investeringsbeslut, vilket kan ha en avgörande betydelse vid en likviditetsfälla.</p><p>Mycket tyder på att den amerikanska ekonomin är på väg att fastna i en likviditetsfälla som – om den inte neutraliseras av en framgångsrik stabiliseringspolitik – kommer ha negativa effekter för hela världsekonomin.</p>

Bakgrund: Antalet överviktiga och personer med fetma ökar ständigt och därmed även de olika viktminskningsoperationerna. Dessa operationer har visats sig vara effektiva för att reducera olika hälsorisker och dödligheten som är förknippat med övervikt. Individer som väljer att genomgå denna operation har ofta höga förväntningar på att uppnå en efterlängtad kropp, samt ett förbättrat psykiskt välmående. Syfte: Att beskriva hur personer som genomgått en viktminskningsoperation upplever sin kropp. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt där 8 artiklar inkluderades. Dessa analyserades utifrån en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultat: Kroppsuppfattningen visade sig vara både positiv och negativ efter operationen. En avgörande faktor som bidrog till den negativa kroppsuppfattningen var den överflödiga huden. Den skapade känslor av att vara oattraktiv och att personerna inte passade in i samhället och dess normer. Det uppstod också en konflikt mellan bilden de hade av sig själva i sinnet och den de kunde se i spegeln. Slutsats: De fysiska fördelarna med denna operation är många men den bidrar även till många negativa psykiska problem. Det krävs många fysiska och psykiska förändringar under transitionen och det är därför viktigt som sjuksköterska att vara en stöttande del i denna process. På fastigheten Nornan 13 i Tingsryd, Kronobergs län, finns idag en mangårdsbyggnad från mitten av 1800-talet. Då ett flertal ekonomibyggnader på fastigheten tidigare förstörts i en brand, funderar fastighetsägaren på att komplettera tomten med nya byggnader i form av flerbostadshus. Denna rapport utreder möjligheterna och förutsättningarna för nybyggnation på Nornan 13, samt ger utifrån dessa villkor förslag på hur sådan byggnation bör och kan utformas. Förslaget presenteras med hjälp av ritningar, illustrationer och beskrivningar. Eftersom samtliga byggnader på Nornan 13 och närliggande fastigheter är av äldre karaktär bedöms området som känsligt för ny modern bebyggelse. Av den anledningen genomförs en områdesanalys för att kunna identifiera områdets kulturhistoriska värden, samt undersöka hur nybyggnation kan tillvarata dessa. Områdesanalysen genomförs med stöd av DIVE-metoden.

Denna studie handlar om på vilka sätt som sociala medier kan ge uttryck för bekräftelsebehov hos användare. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer på fem användare av sociala medier samt användning av teorier inom självrepresentation, behaviorism och Uses and Gratification, blev det möjligt att finna flera typer av bekräftelsebehov. Det gick dels att urskilja tre strategier inom självrepresentation som användes för att uppnå bekräftelsebehov; en strategi till direkt uppmärksamhet, en strategi till specifik målgrupp och en strategi för generellt bekräftelsebehov. Vidare gavs också information på hur användare uppfattar och använder sig av sociala mediers mediala mekanismer, till att nå bekräftelsebehov. Slutligen blev det också möjligt att uppfatta användares känslor efter detta behov.<br>This study is about social media and in what ways it can give expression for a need ofconfirmation, by the individuals who are using it. By using qualitative interviews on five users of social media, combined with exploiting theories in self-representation, behaviourism and Uses and Gratifications, it was possible to discover several kinds of need for confirmation. Thus, three strategies in self-representation was being used: a strategy mainly for attention, a strategy to reach a specific target group, and a strategy for general need of confirmation. Furthermore, information on how the users are aware of the mechanisms from social media is being showed and also how they make the most out of it. Eventually, after their need for confirmation had been examined, the users’ feelings were presented.

AbstractTitel: När det är rast så leker vi igen!Författare: Anna Thufvesson och Izabella KolodziejDetta examensarbete handlar om hur lek och lärande gestaltas i en förskoleklass i en mindre kommun i Skåne. Barngruppen består av tjugoen barn. Klassen har två lärare. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka två lärares uppfattningar om lekens betydelse för barnens lärande samt deras tankar om hur lek och lärande kommer till uttryck i den pedagogiska verksamheten. Syftet med undersökningen var även att ta reda på hur barnen själva uppfattar lek och lärande i förskoleklassen. I vår undersökning valde vi att använda oss av kvalitativa metoder, dels samtalsintervjuer med två lärare och sexton barn, dels observationer av styrda aktiviteter och den fria leken. De frågor som vi har utgått från är: På vilket sätt kommer lek och lärande till uttryck i en förskoleklass? Vilka uppfattningar har lärare om lek och lärande i en förskoleklass? Vilken syn har barn på lek och lärande under sin vardag i förskoleklassen? samt Hur använder sig lärare av lek i undervisningen? I detta arbete hänvisar vi till forskning och litteratur som vi har kunnat koppla till lek och lärande samt forskning kring språklekar och barns möte med matematik. Resultatet pekar mot att lärarna i den valda förskoleklassen anser att leken är viktig för barnens lärande och låter leken genomsyra verksamheten. Resultatet från intervjuerna med barnen tyder på att barnen skiljer på att lära sig saker i leken och att lära genom lek. Barnen ser lärandet i leken som något konkret, exempelvis att cykla och att klättra, medan de ser exempelvis läsvägen som en lärandesituation för att lära sig ny kunskap.

This paper analyses the potential for the involvement of different types of stakeholders in the Implementing Geological Disposal Technology Platform (IGD-TP). This analysis was conducted as part of the InSOTEC project, a three-year (2011–2014) collaborative research project funded under the 7th Euratom Framework Programme (Grant Agreement nr. 269906). In our analysis, we consider the extent to which the IGD-TP’s practice as regards to stakeholder involvement matches its discourse, and what potential for improvement exists given its structural organisation as a European Technology Platform (ETPs). Technology Platforms (TPs) can be understood as knowledge networks, deliberately set up to influence (research) policy in a specific domain. We therefore use knowledge networks as a conceptual approach and look at the IGD-TP as a complex network which includes actors, knowledge and practices across different countries, focusing on a very specific topic (i.e. implementing geological disposal). We compare the way different stakeholders are involved in the IGD-TP to the practice of other ETPs, and explore how the IGD-TP is viewed by its members and by outsiders to the platform. Applying Callon’s framework of knowledge co-production (1999) we come to define different degrees of interaction between science, society and policy in view of defining research and development (R&D) priorities [1]. Subsequently we describe how these interactions could be conceptualised and interpreted for the IGD-TP. The current approach of the IGD-TP can be mainly understood as classical model involving mainly expert stakeholders and scientists. Where there seems to be a good representation among IGD-TP members of industry, research institutes, and some members of the academic community this is not the case for other types of stakeholders, such as public authorities or civil society. At this stage, the overall approach of the IGD-TP would seem to restrict the scope of stakeholder involvement, as it narrows participation down to uniquely technology experts, hindering socio-technical manifestations. Our analysis nevertheless shows that there is room for engaging with a broader range of stakeholders in the field of radioactive waste management, if this is the intention of the IGD-TP. However, this would require a commitment to developing a common knowledge base including other stakeholders through a process of mutual adjustment and negotiation.

In this article, Information-Gap Decision Theory (IGDT), an approach to robust decision making under severe uncertainty, is applied to decisions about a remanufacturing process. IGDT is useful when only a nominal estimate is available for an uncertain quantity; the amount that estimate differs from the quantity’s actual value is not known. The decision strategy in IGDT involves maximizing robustness to uncertainty of unknown size, while still guaranteeing no worse than some “good enough” critical level of performance, rather than optimal performance. The design scenario presented involves selecting the types of technologies and number of stations to be used in a remanufacturing process. The profitability of the process is affected by severe uncertainty in the demand for remanufactured parts. Because nothing is know about demand except an estimate based on a different product from a previous year, info-gap theory will be used to determine an appropriate tradeoff between performance and robustness to severe uncertainty. Which design is most preferred is seen to switch depending on choice of critical performance level. Implications of findings, as well as future research directions, are discussed.

Information-Gap Decision Theory (IGDT), an approach to robust decision making under severe uncertainty, is considered in the context of a simple life cycle engineering example. IGDT offers a path to a decision in the class of problems where only a nominal estimate is available for some uncertain life cycle variable that affects performance, and where there is some unknown amount of discrepancy between that estimate and the variable’s actual value. Instead of seeking maximized performance, the decision rule inherent to IGDT prefers designs with maximum immunity (info-gap robustness) to the size that the unknown discrepancy could take. This robustness aspiration is subject to a constraint of achieving better than some minimal requirement for performance. In this paper, an automotive oil filter selection design example, which involves several types of severe uncertainty, is formulated and solved using an IDGT approach. Particular attention is paid to the complexities of assessing preference for robustness to multiple severe uncertainties simultaneously. The strengths and limitations of the approach are discussed mainly in the context of environmentally benign design and manufacture.

Denna rapport presenterar en studie av Vilhelmina Södra samebys erfarenheter av de konsekvenser som gruvan på Stihken fört med sig, en gruva som drevs av Boliden Mineral AB 1976–1988. Det finns i dag ett stort kunskapsglapp angående vilka de faktiska konsekvenserna är av gruvindustri på samisk markanvändning, inklusive renskötseln. Detta är så vitt vi vet första gången som forskningen empiriskt belyser konsekvenserna av gruvindustrin, och de faktiska utfallen av försöken till efterbehandling, utifrån en samebys egna erfarenheter och kunskap. Studien genomfördes 2019–2020 i ett samarbete mellan samebyn, Svenska Samernas Riksförbund och Stockholm Environment Institute. Datainsamlingen har bestått av arbetsmöten, intervjuer, workshops, dokumentanalys och kartering med stöd av RenGIS och forskning om störningszoner. Fokus i denna rapport ligger på just Vilhelmina Södra samebys erfarenheter och gruvans konsekvenser för andra samebyar eller icke-renskötande samer i området har därför inte inkluderats. Resultaten visar den omfattande påverkan som gruvan haft på samebyn, dels under driftperioden men i högsta grad också efteråt. Under drifttiden förorsakade gruvan stora direkta och indirekta markförluster, med störningar från brytningen och trafiken, damning på betet, blockering av det naturliga flyttstråket och förlust av stora delar av samebyns renar in i Norge eller in på grannbyarnas mark på svensk sida. I nutid handlar de största konsekvenserna om en omfattande störning från besöksnäringen på grund av vägen som drogs i tidigare väglöst land. Detta föranleder i sin tur stort betesbortfall; försämrad djurhälsa och kondition för renen; förhöjd arbetsbelastning, fysiska påfrestningar, och arbetsmiljörisker för renskötarna; ökade kostnader för renskötselaktiviteter; samt förlust av samiska kulturminnen, ökad psykisk påfrestning, försämrade möjligheter för samebyns unga att satsa på renskötseln, och förlust av traditionell kunskap. Dessa forskningsresultat är viktiga för att korrigera vanligt förekommande missuppfattningar i den politiska och offentliga debatten kring gruvindustrin: nämligen att gruvindustrin och renskötseln kan samexistera utan någon större påverkan på renskötseln. De visar också tydligt vem som har bäst kunskap att bedöma riskerna vid en gruvetablering: samebyn identifierade redan på 1960-talet, och det ganska så exakt, de risker som denna studie nu kunnat visa blivit verklighet medan försöken från statens representanter var långt mindre precisa. Exempelvis antog statens experter en total störningszon på 500 meter runt gruvområdet och 100 meter på bägge sidor om vägen. Detta står i stark kontrast till de störningszoner som samebyn faktiskt har upplevt, nämligen upp mot 10 kilometer för gruvan och 1,5 kilometer för vägen. Problemen härrör främst från det faktum att svensk lagstiftning inte ger tillräckligt skydd för samiska rättigheter. De hänger även ihop med statens tvetydiga roll i hanteringen av de intressekonflikter som uppstår när man både har en skyldighet att skydda samiska rättigheter och ska tillgodose olika samhälls- och företagsekonomiska intressen i utvinningen av mineraler. Denna brist på ansvarstagande, som samebyn upplever från statens sida, visar med all tydlighet att den koloniala exploateringen av naturresurserna i Sápmi inte är ett historiskt fenomen utan något som i allra högsta grad fortgår än i dag. Som ett exempel har inga ansträngningar som helst gjorts för att se över huruvida den begränsade ekonomiska ersättningen som staten genomförde under 1960–70 talet verkligen motsvarar de faktiska skador som samebyn fått uthärda. Det finns flera sätt att åtgärda problemen i området vid Stihken. Exempelvis skulle regeringen kunna ge SGU i uppdrag att återställa området från tidigare prospekteringsverksamhet och kommun och länsstyrelse skulle i sin tur kunna ingripa för att hantera besöksnäringen och friluftslivet. Vad denna studie främst belyser är dock behovet av en genomgripande strategi från statens sida för att komma till rätta med konsekvenserna av Bolidens gruvprojekt och dess följdeffekter. Utifrån senaste årens rättsutveckling torde det numera finnas goda möjligheter för staten att se över sitt ansvar för de skador som framkommit på området vid Stihken.

Denne rapport præsenterer en række centrale resultater af et forskningsprojekt med fokus på daginstitutioners indsatser og betydning for pædagogisk personale, børn og familier under COVID-19 pandemien i Danmark. Forskningsprojektet har indsamlet data i perioden april 2020 til august 2020, og særligt i perioden fra midt april til juni, hvor alle landets daginstitutioner genåbnede efter cirka en måneds nedlukning af landets offentlige institutioner som følge af regeringens retningslinjer. Der er ligeledes indsamlet data i perioden august til oktober 2020, og igen i perioden januar til februar 2021. Der er således tale om tre empiriske nedslag hen over cirka et år af pandemiens forløb i relation til daginstitutionsledere og pædagogisk personale i landets daginstitutioner. De data, der ligger til grund for denne rapport, omfatter en spørgeskemaundersøgelse rettet mod daginstitutionsledere og en spørgeskemaundersøgelse rettet mod pædagogisk personale i daginstitutioner, geografisk fordelt over hele landet. Fælles for spørgeskemaundersøgelserne er et fokus på at udforske, hvordan daginstitutioner har arbejdet under COVID-19 pandemien, dels under selve nedlukningen i marts-april, hvor flere af landets daginstitutioner har fungeret som nødpasning, særligt for forældre med kritiske samfundsfunktioner, og dels under genåbningsfaserne, der officielt blev påbegyndt i midten af april og især har forløbet hen over forår og tidlig sommer 2020. Derudover er der ad to omgange foretaget en række forskningsinterview med daginstitutionsledere. I første omgang blev der foretaget 10 forskningsinterview i perioden august til november 2020, og i anden omgang er der foretaget 8 forskningsinterview med daginstitutionsledere fordelt på landets daginstitutioner omfattende perioden januar til februar 2021. Formålet med dette forskningsprojekt har været at kortlægge og udforske, hvordan daginstitutionsledere og pædagogisk personale i en række danske daginstitutioner for 0-6-årige børn løfter den store samfundsmæssige udfordring at håndtere COVID-19 pandemien på landets daginstitutioner.
