<p>This study outlines the research methods and findings of an assessment performed to evaluate an organization?s diversity and inclusion climate. A survey was conducted with 67 of 81 of the organization?s employees, followed by 15 interviews, and six focus groups. The study found this organization to be very diverse and to place a high value on the importance of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) to its performance. Addressing issues with sensitivity and specificity in TBI assessment this study compared the performance on neuropsychological tests and results from qEEG assessment between a heterogeneous TBI (N=20) group and a matched normal control group (N=20). Traumatic brain injury (TBI) incidence rates are increasing among the U.S. population and represent substantial acute and chronic care costs. A confounding factor in TBI treatment is the incidence rates of concomitant mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Clinical data establish that the prevalence of any of these 3 diagnoses complicates the treatment of TBI regardless of whether the diagnosis was pre-existing or occurred because of the TBI, such that prognosis and recovery are negatively impacted.
