We present an inflow-driven, long-term estimation of material stocks for the United Kingdom, covering 12 major materials from 1800 to 2017. We find the trajectory of the UK's stocks characterized by slow increases during the 19th century, followed by rapid growth and a slowdown in recent years. After a slump following the 2007/8 financial crisis, stock growth again accelerated to currently ∼1% per year. Per capita stocks barely increased during the 19

Combining with the mindset of sustainable stocks and resources, this exercise of cleaner production provides advantages of minimum toxic wastes and residues. In this study, we prioritize this practice to be applied in the aluminum industry, of which cleaner production action has not yet been employed. This study aimed to assess the application of cleaner production in the aluminum industry. The

The role coal in power industry is predicted to be increased in future that is caused by its large stocks and depletion of oil and gas fields. Due to production growth, deterioration in mining and geological conditions and broad mechanization of production, the quality characteristics of coals as ash content, particle-size distribution, humidity and sulfur content worsen. Therefore, practically all mined coal requires enriching. The smallgrade and fine concentrates received after enrichment often happen to be unsuitable because of their fineness for further processing or direct use. Therefore
