Abstract:
Firstly, we deal with the verification of normality and other necessary prerequisites needed in this thesis. We also introduce transformations to converse non-normally distributed data to normal and continue with capability analysis. We describe the design of control charts, useful tools to assess process stability. They help us to eliminate assignable causes and leave only chance causes in process. We obtain process in control state. Finally, we introduce both capability and performance ratios for both normal and non-normal data, and analyse some of their properties. At the end of the thesis, we prove acquired knowledge by performing capability analysis of real process.

Using statistical methods to evaluate quality, it is possible to discover cases of non-accidental variances in quality-evaluating parameters and to analyse the reasons for their occurrence. The identification of these reasons enables their removal and the improvement of product quality. Routine evaluation of quality levels is facilitated by the employment of computer technology.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with production system monitoring using the SPC method. The reason for the introduction of the SPC system is in an effort to improve the quality consistantcy.This master thesis consists of three parts: Teoretic part: to solve the basic access and process for the aplication of SPC methodics. Practical part: includes the descripton of comtemporary quality control and propositions for the SPC method. Conclution:Conclusions and recommendations are made on the basis of the data evaluation.

Diplomová práce pojednává o způsobilosti procesu tepelného zpracování. Hlavním cílem je zhodnotit způsobilost procesu, který se uskutečňuje ve strojírenském podniku. Byly sledovány hodnoty tvrdosti, které se zavedly do regulačních diagramů a z nich byly vypočteny indexy způsobilosti. Po zhodnocení způsobilosti procesu tepelného zpracování byla navržena napravná opatření.

This diploma thesis named “The Proposal of the System of Regular Monitoring of the Suppliers’ Process Capability Indices” is divided into two sections. There is a theory about statistical process control with emphasized process capability analysis in the first section. The content of the second section is starting point, procedure and the outcome of the project I worked on in Robert Bosch Company, České Budějovice. The aim of the project is the improvement of input quality via the evaluation of suppliers based on their outcomes of SPC.

Abstract:
This thesis aims to evaluate a new manufacturing process by using statistical methods SPC. In the theoretical part provides the basic methods and rules applied in the assessment of control charts. The next part evaluates the current state of the company Hanhart Morkovice s.r.o. analysis and production of coils. The analytical part deals with control charts for reference and quality characters using statistical software process capability indexes and control charts. Based on information from the analytical part, conclusions are drawn and designed for long-term steps using established methods of SPC for quality characters.
