Abstract:
Organizational changes in which great human efforts have been invested, as well as financial resources and time, in reality often result in low or only short-term effects. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the highest possible level of communication with employees in order to proactively overcome individual resistance. The scope of the primary research for this study demonstrates the analysis of the questionnaire results which was obtained from 30 Croatian managers and their experience with individual resistance to changes. The survey showed four types of largest barriers in Croatian organizations. The main conclusion is that managers in this country lack the knowledge of operating in a challenging competitive environment.

Abstract:
Nowadays, the wood cutting process looks like a technological scheme consisting of several connected and relatively inseparable parts. Wood crosscutting is the most widespread operation in the process of forest exploitation; it is used at tree exploitation, shortening stems and assortment production. The article deals with the influence of the cutting edge geometry of circular saws on the torque and also on the cutting performance at wood crosscutting, therefore there is an influence on the whole cutting process. In the present article measurement procedure, used measuring devices and the process of result analysis are described in detailed. Knowledge of the wood crosscutting process and choice of suitable cutting conditions and cutting tools will contribute to a reduction in production costs and to energy saving.

Abstract:
This a pilot study where the study method “Autoidentification and Identification Method According to Oral Portrayals of Character”. Contemporary psychological studies show that a person’s behaviour in social context is not only simple consequences of the objective conditions having effect on him or her, it significantly depends on subjective perception and interpretation of the aggregate of external events, i.e., determination of situation carried out by an individual. Autoidentification method according to oral portrayals of character (Эйдемиллер, 1973) was used for diagnosing the personality and image of “I” accentuation types. The pilot study involved two groups of adolescents; one group included adolescents with deviant behaviour (n=60, 39 boys, 21 girl) but the second group included adolescents without actual behaviour disorders (n= 60, 35 boys, 25 girls). The study allowed determination of differences between the results presented by both groups with constituting grounds for performing further empiric study with a larger selection of study in the future.

Abstract:
Understanding human behavior can assist in the adoption of satisfactory health interventions and improved care. One of the main problems relies on the definition of human behaviors, as human activities depend on multiple variables and are of dynamic nature. Although smart homes have advanced in the latest years and contributed to unobtrusive human behavior tracking, artificial intelligence has not coped yet with the problem of variability and dynamism of these behaviors. Process mining is an emerging discipline capable of adapting to the nature of high-variate data and extract knowledge to define behavior patterns. In this study, we analyze data from 25 in-house residents acquired with indoor location sensors by means of process mining clustering techniques, which allows obtaining workflows of the human behavior inside the house. Data are clustered by adjusting two variables: the similarity index and the Euclidean distance between workflows. Thereafter, two main models are created: (1) a workflow view to analyze the characteristics of the discovered clusters and the information they reveal about human behavior and (2) a calendar view, in which common behaviors are rendered in the way of a calendar allowing to detect relevant patterns depending on the day of the week and the season of the year. Three representative patients who performed three different behaviors: stable, unstable, and complex behaviors according to the proposed approach are investigated. This approach provides human behavior details in the manner of a workflow model, discovering user paths, frequent transitions between rooms, and the time the user was in each room, in addition to showing the results into the calendar view increases readability and visual attraction of human behaviors, allowing to us detect patterns happening on special days.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the multilevel information system of advertising, it is noted that it is divided into different directions according to the nature of the tasks in various areas of human activity from political, social and commercial to individual and personal. It is proved that today in the modern world advertising is an important social institution that performs significant functions in society and influences the choice of values, norms, behavior of individuals, forms traditions, especially among the younger generation.

Abstract:
The allocation of functions and tasks to humans and machines is seldom considered as a step in system design. In those cases where function allocation is considered, it is usually based on fixed schemes for all operators; however, it is possible that the optimal allocation scheme is not the same across individuals. In this research, two studies employed a pasteurizing plant simulation to investigate the effect of gender, age, education, and experience on system performance. Results of the first study revealed individual differences between males and females. However, gender was confounded with education and age. Because this confound could not be removed with the available subject pool, a second study was conducted to separate the effects of age and education on performance. In this latter study, analyses revealed significant individual difference on performance. These data suggest that individual difference variables need to be examined more fully in the system design process.

Abstract:
This article considers the dynamic that may arise between two individuals when one of them has "unconscious shadow material" surfacing during the process of spiritual growth—a phenomenon that can occur between Yoga student or client and Yoga teacher or therapist. Individuals may experience spiritual awakening in a variety of ways. Historically it has been reported that an individual, like Gautama the Buddha, can sit alone and obtain full realization. Or one can be walking down the "road to Damascus"and be struck by the power of God and realize his or her oneness with the universe.

Abstract:
A GLR (generalized likelihood ratio) chart for Poisson distributed process with individual observations is proposed and the design procedure of the GLR chart is discussed. The performance of the GLR charts is compared to the exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) chart and the GWMA chart. The numerical experiments show that the GLR chart has comparable performance as the other two charts. However, the GLR chart is much easier to design and implement since there are more design parameters in these two charts.
