Abstract:
In line with the times demand, nationlism changes as a dynamic of dialectics proceeds with changes in social, political, and ekonomic in the country and global levels. Based on a review of historical chronology, this paper analyzed descriptively the relationship between Islam and nationalism in Indonesia. Since the early growth of nationalism and the Dutch colonization period in Indonesia, Islam became the spirit of sacrifice of lives and property of the Indonesian people's fighting to get independence and on the Japanese colonial period and the early days of independence, Islam through the muslim leaders founction as base of departure and developer awareness of nasionalism, patriotism and unity to defend the independence. Despite the authoritarian New Order ruler cope with Islam through the establishment of the Association of Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals (ICMI), but awareness of national Muslim leaders to build Indonesia managed to push governance reforms. And in this era of reform, the spirit of nationalism and the spirit of sacrifice of the Indonesian leaders increasingly eroded by corruption. Key words: proto-nationalism, political nationalism, cultural nationalism.

Abstract:
The construction of the Tlogosari Church in Semarang, which had issued its 1998 building permit, became a polemic. The residents of Malangsari RT 06 / RW 07 disagreed with constructing a church in the area. On the other hand, the church establishment permit was issued in 1998. The construction of the Indonesian Baptist Church caused the Malangsari community as cheated by the signature of the Tlogosari Indonesian Baptist Church. So, viewed with an analysis of stages of conflict and a timeline that describes the chronology of time before the conflict occurred until, after the conflict ended, the resolution of the conflict could occur through mediation, which was carried out several times. The end of the mediation led by the head of the Semarang National Human Rights Commission was that the City Government gave a building permit (IMB) to the Tlogosari Indonesian Baptist Church to rebuild.

Abstract:
This study was conducted to map and elaborate how blasphemy was understood in social media, mainly Twitter. Beginning with the origins of the blasphemy law and some conflicts triggered by the law, this paper will explain the chronology of Ahok’s case and how it becomes popular within netizen. The questions of the study are how the Indonesian netizen in social media understand the blasphemy case of Ahok and how they try to construct discourse with it. The findings are interrelated the hashtags that led in five issues, (1) the action of defending Islam, (2) defending ulama, (3) Muslim leader, (4) national security, (5) imprisoning Ahok, (6) election of the regional head. The network of actors is exposing the complexity of reactions of netizen. Indonesian netizen in social media understands blasphemy in two ways, using religious discourse and political discourse. The first constructs blasphemy as a threat for religion and state security. The second argues the religious discourse by proving blasphemy as a tool for achieving political power. Various issues are tried to identify “blasphemy” that at the same time used to identify certain groups/actors as enemies or allies. In the process of identification, there emerges similar solidarity in interpreting the “blasphemy” based on a single interpretation of the religious source. However, there also emerges the discussion of how religious interpretation of blasphemy should not be used for political reason.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to inquire into the history of government accounting, using a well-grounded periodisation, in order to provide a chronology of government accounting development (GAD) in Indonesia from 1845 to 2015 focusing on development on accounting regulations and systems and practices in local government in Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach It collects archival data and then uses a descriptive tradition of research to capture mainly regulatory changes affecting GAD from colonial to post-colonial period. Findings The paper reports major regulatory changes, evolution in local government accounting practice, development of government accounting standards (GASt) and converging GASs with international standards. Research limitations/implications This study is important to accounting historians and other academics because it provides a detailed chronicle of accounting regulatory changes in Indonesia which can be used for future research. The limitation(s) of this study is that is data collection which was not easily accessible and as results have to rely on various sources. Practical implications The study has an important practical implication. It has produced a time series register of regulatory changes affecting GAD in Indonesia. It can be used as a reference document in the National Library of Indonesia and also by academics for future research. Originality/value A times series register, for the first time, is produced which provides a comprehensive chronology of accounting development in Indonesia.
