Abstract:
In conditions of national economy’s unstable development, the primary task of the enterprise internal management is to timely assess and predict the effects of external fluctuations on the state of the enterprise and to develop effective management decisions. The article aims to develop the methodological approach, which, based on a set of models for recognizing an artificial crisis or localizing a natural crisis, allows the crisis management of an enterprise considering its resource capabilities and stage of the life cycle as the interaction of system-forming spheres of life, namely production, financial, and labor. The practical value of the approach consists in developing a system of econometric and cognitive modeling models that allows developing a set of managerial decisions that are adaptive to external and internal fluctuations for localizing a natural crisis or recognizing an artificial crisis. The methodological approach was implemented at Ukrainian industrial enterprises. As the results of the study, several different scenarios of solutions for crisis management of the enterprise were obtained.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the nature of conflicts and their classification. The typology of creative employees according to Isaksen and Dorval is presented. It is revealed that the conflict is an important form of interaction between people and serves as a means of solving many problems. It is proved that for the choice of an adequate method of influence and management of the corresponding conflict it is expedient to carry out classification depending on the basic signs: a way of the decision; spheres of manifestation; direction of influence; degree of expressiveness; number of participants; impaired needs. The causes of destructive conflicts at the industrial enterprise are determined. Methods of conflict management in the labor collective of an industrial enterprise are presented, as well as the main technologies of conflict management are considered.

Abstract:
This article is aimed at studying the problem of risk management at industrial corporations. It examines the nature of risk and its impact on the way the modern corporations operate. The main types of risks are analyzed on the example of their classification, developed and applied by the leading German insurance company Allianz. It among them are 10 main types of risks, including risks associated with IT systems in enterprises (in particular, cyber-crimes, failures of IT systems, leakage and loss of data), production and supply chain risks, risks of changes in legislation and regulatory policy (in particular, duties, trade wars, sanctions, protectionism), force majeure and natural disasters, changes in markets (increased competition, new competitors, fluctuations, stagnation and fall of markets), fires and explosions, climate changes, reputational risks, risks of new technologies and macroeconomic factors such as monetary policy, government austerity programs, inflation, changes in resource prices, etc. The examples of occurrence of such risks in real enterprises are given. The role and the importance of risk management at industrial corporations is determined. The model of three "lines of defense" in risk management of industrial enterprises is described, where the "first line" includes operational management and internal control mechanisms, the "second line" – the services of enterprises, responsible for management and control of risks on the ground, in particular, financial control, security service, services of quality control, compliance with standards and others, and the "third line" is internal audit. The practical aspects of its application are defined. The role and function of internal audit in risk management of companies is determined. The differences in scope and goals of internal audit as compared to other corporate compliance and governance functions are highlighted.

Abstract:
Employee’s innovative behavior is an impulse that initiates a range of organizational processes, owing to which the enterprise forms its competitive advantage. In the article, the determinative factors of influence on the innovative behavior in the context of separate age groups were defined. According to the results of multifactor regression analysis, the determinative types of trust include institutional, horizontal and vertical, stress resistance to innovations, managerial support and innovative work environment. It was proved that the employee’s age does not affect the innovative activity of industrial enterprises. When forming the main components of the management model of innovative behavior, the focus is on personal and professional characteristics of managers, which help to form the innovative type of behavior of the employees; a system for stimulating the real results of such behavior; ways of promotion of new developments via the innovation platforms and creation of the special structural unit with the aim to implement the proposed measures.

Abstract:
Bearing in mind the world research study whose results show that today the industrial concept of corporations is exposed to constant processes of change, and accordingly, production processes and at the same time improvement processes should begin at the very beginning in everyday work, both in the organization of production and production. and in strategic business planning and management decision-making in the entire business system. Practice shows, that if the implementation of a change is not perceived as primary by all employees, however, the accepted change determined by the implementation of this method of improvement only in their minds, is not enough. If everything goes according to plan for all activities of employees and the team, then these changes lead to acceptable and stable improvements. It is the starting point for ensuring the long-term success of industrial production and is an important generator or engine for motivating employees. The implemented RE changes are the driving force that certainly leads to the achievement of new goals and the success of the strategic business of companies. The advantages of applying reengineering techniques in business systems in the world are reflected in the improvement of quality and sophistication of management and all employees to successfully eliminate harmful production and business processes related to the overall organization, and thus greater product placement on the world market. High managerial creativity is important for the industrial business sustainability of high market success, today and in the future. That is why efficient methods of redesigning and reorganizing certain industrial processes are being implemented in developed companies around the world. Abstract:
Low lying coastal areas have always been preferred settlement areas as well as trading and industrial areas. Unfortunately, those areas are strongly endangered by extreme storm surges. In the event of a flood defence failure, protected areas are flooded and damages have to be expected. For the assessment and management of flood risk, the European Union approved the “Directive of the European Parliament and the Council on the assessment and management of flood risk”.
As one part of a risk and damage analysis the risk of flooding - being the product of failure probability of a certain flood defence and the damages resulting from a failure of this flood defence - has to be determined. One possibility for the assessment of the failure probability is provided by fragility curves. A method for the derivation of fragility curves for flood defence dunes is described. Hence, the applied dune erosion model as well as the method for the derivation of the required input data is explained. Furthermore, first results of the calculation of failure probabilities and fragility curves are presented.

Abstract:
The 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami was one of the strongest earthquakes which generated a major tsunami in
modern history. The tsunami disaster had an estimated cost of 16.9 trillion yen (US$ 217.3 billion) and affected the Coastal
buildings, services, infrastructure and industrial sectors. Approximately 61% of damaged cost was from the building sector. A
practical predictive scour depth model at seaward face was developed to highlight the scour failure of Coastal buildings in Miyagi,
Fukushima and Iwate prefectures affected by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The predictive model for
representative scour depth was developed in terms of various hydraulic, geometrical and soil properties affecting Coastal buildings.
An analysis was undertaken to investigate the effectiveness of the authors’ predictive scour model against the existing models. The
results of the authors’ proposed model suggested that the tsunami velocity played a significant role on tsunami-induced scour, other
scour models such as Tonkin et al.’s model (2003) is reliant on the accuracy of sub models and hydrodynamic forces while the
Colorado State University model as modified by Nadal et al. (2010) is reliant on the geometric parameter of the structure.
