Industry- Academia relationship is an essential element to generate innovation and employability. Systematic and coordinated approaches are absent in most industry and academy relationships which brings unsuccessful collaboration among them. Current trend of relationship between industry and academia failed to impact revenue generation hence could not create employment opportunities. Identifying the gaps between industry and academy will allow more outcome based research and innovation. The values that underlie industry are different from, indeed incommensurable with, those of both science and universities. Consequently, serious problems can arise during collaborative research. These include prevention of the free publication of results and the influence by financial interests of the direction of research agenda and of the conclusions drawn from the results. The unavoidable tension implicit in research collaboration between industry and academy should be explicitly recognized. Abstract:
Many key factors driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) are to construct industrial robots to become increasingly intelligent, multi-functional, flexible, and efficient, as well as a complementing platform for collaboration with people. The latest generation of intelligent robots, known as Cobots (collaborative robots), can now cooperate and stand side-by-side with humans in a safe way and perform many tasks that require the same skills as humans. This paper firstly overviews the new generation of Cobots used for manufacturing and other applications to see forward into the fut

Writing in Urban History in the spring of 1991, Peter Borsay considered how the gap between the ‘popular presentations of the urban past’ produced by the growing heritage industry and ‘the booming academic study of urban history’ might be bridged. Heritage, he argued, was ‘deeply bound up with the meanings and functions of towns’ and urban historians should play a crucial role within communities ‘engaged in a complex discourse with the past . . . that for many was fundamental to their livelihood and identity’.
