Abstract:
There are many inflationary models compatible with observational data. One can investigate inflationary models by looking at their general features, which are common in most of the models. Here we have investigated some of the single-field models without considering their origin in order to find the phenomenology of them. We have shown how to adjust the simple harmonic oscillator model in order to be in good agreement with observational data.

Due to the accelerated expansion of the universe, the possibilities for the formation of singularities has changed from the classical Big Bang and Big Crunch singularities to include a number of new scenarios. In this paper we enlarge the analysis of singularities in scalar field cosmological models by the use of generalised power expansions of their Hubble scalars and their scalar fields in order to describe all possible models leading to a

The 4D low-energy limit of string compactifications is characterised by the ubiquitous presence of string moduli which are new gravitationally coupled scalar fields which develop mass via supersymmetry breaking effects. During inflation it is generically expected that these fields receive large contributions to their mass of order the Hubble constant. They are therefore shifted from their minimum and after the end of inflation start oscillating around it behaving as non-relativistic matter. Our study of such instabilities is, in part, motivated by attempts to embed inflation into string theory. We will argue that the study of string theory models of inflation is well-
