Abstract:
Coastal areas are often seen as marginalized areas, tending to be the focus of poverty. In East Java, coastal areas experience poverty rates 9-10% higher than the average for other regions. This research aims to analyze factors such as economic growth, labor force participation, human development, and access to clean water that influence poverty in the coastal region of East Java, as well as designing poverty reduction scenarios using a dynamic systems approach. The analysis method uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach, including regression analysis using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and System Dynamics. Panel data from 22 districts/cities in the coastal region of East Java from 2013 to 2022 were used in this research. The results of the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) test show that GDP per capita has a negative and significant impact on poverty in the coastal region of East Java. The labor force participation rate and regional spending have a positive but not significant influence. The Human Development Index influences poverty negatively and significantly, while access to clean water influences it positively and significantly. Dynamic system simulations show that by involving several variables simultaneously with the assumption that each increase in GRDP per capita is 4% and TPAK, HDI, and AAB is 1 percent, there will be a decrease in the number of poor people in the coastal areas of East Java Province by 1 percent.

Abstract:
In a three-year experiment, three types of soil conservation techniques were tested in the legumes cultivation systems. Our treatment types were no-till, standard tillage to the depth of 8 cm and deep tillage to 20 cm. The study evaluated winter pea (cv. Enduro), spring pea (cv. Eso), white lupine (cv. Amiga), narrow-leaved lupine (cv. Boregine) and soybean (cv. Merlin) in two autumn terms (winter pea only) and in spring term (all legume species). In no-till technology, the average yield of all legumes was 2.24 t/ha. For standard tillage (2.58 t/ha) and deep tillage (2.62 t/ha), yields were significantly higher than in no-till technology. From the monitored parameters, deep tillage appeared as the best soil treatment. Although the yield was similar to standard tillage, the soil was less stiffened, resulting in a higher content of nitrogen in the seed and a better use of the pre-crop value of the legumes. In the experiment, winter pea spring sowing term (2.93 t/ha) was better than both autumn sowings (2.68 t/ha and 2.65 t/ha).

Abstract:
We studied the effect of different plant growth regulators on in vitro regeneration and plant growth of three cultivars of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) from explants derived from hypocotyls and cotyledons of aseptically grown seedlings. The regeneration capacity was significantly influenced by cultivar and explant type. The highest number of shoots regenerated in both types of explants was recorded on MS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/dm3 zeatin and 0.1 mg/dm3 IAA. The cultivar UC 82 showed the best regeneration capacity on all types of used media. The most responsive explants were hypocotyls with 90–92% regeneration in dependence on the used cultivars and mean production from 0.18 to 0.38 shoots per explant.

Abstract:
Existing results suggest that entrepreneurs vary considerably in their intentions to grow their businesses; that men have more success in pursuing growth than women. Prior investigations on entrepreneurship also suggest female business owners might deliberately choose to keep their business from growing. However, these studies have been conducted in developed countries. Diversity in context and theories could vary by gender, business sectors, and regions of the world. Scholars maintain that feminist perspectives theories are necessary to provide some insights into understanding the phenomena. The goal of this paper is to analyze research findings on the growth aspirations of the female entrepreneurs and offer alternative views of understanding, by employing feminist theories, in explaining why women behave differently in their adaptation of reduced growth intentions. In an attempt to understand the tendencies that might lead to reduced growth intentions in female entrepreneurship, literature was extensively reviewed on female entrepreneurship and growth intentions. The study uses a desk research approach to data collection. An overview of the main issues concerning female entrepreneurs’ growth intentions is presented. The conclusions drawn from the literature provide foundations for policy measures assisting women to overcome their low growth aspirations and measures required to encourage women to grow their businesses. The paper identifies research gaps that continue to exist in female entrepreneurs’ growth intentions research with the aim of encouraging further research in this field.

Abstract:
Economic growth positively impacts population health, providing access to quality healthcare, environmental protection, clean water, and better preventative behavior. However, Kenya's declining growth rate affects health financing, causing many citizens to struggle with access to care due to rising medical costs. This study sought to analyse the influence of health insurance financing on economic growth in kenya. The study was guided by the Solow-Swan Exogenous Growth Model. The study was conducted in Kenya. Data used in study was longitudinal data for twenty two years. The study period was from 2000 to 2022. A descriptive and inferential analysis performed where Auto-Regressive Distributive Lag (ARDL) model was used. Analyzed data were presented in the form of tables and discussions. The health insurance financing indicated a positive and statistically significant (b=0.2935; p = 0.0280.05), implying that one unit increase in health insurance financing could result in 0.2935 units in economic growth in Kenya. The study showed that adjusted R-squared was 0.9271, implying that the model explains approximately 92.71% of the variation in the economic growth in Kenya. The study concluded that, health insurance financing, is positively related to economic growth in the long run in Kenya. The study recommends that there is need for enhancing health insurance financing sources and gradually shifting towards sustainable domestic financing sources.

Abstract:
The influence of three types of treatment on seedling survival percentage, growth and Armillaria infestation of Fagus sylvatica L. (FAGUS), Abies alba Mill. (ABIES) and Picea abies (L.) H. Karst. (PICEA) seedlings were tested in this study: (i) inoculation with the Ectovit® preparation containing ectomycorrhizal fungi (INOCUL), (ii) Ectovit® preparation + Conavit® fertilizer (INOCUL + FERTILIZ) and (iii) the untreated group (CONTROL). The selected sample contained 100 seedlings per each tree species and treatment type (900 seedlings in total). Besides that, 18 months after planting, 10 living seedlings per each species and treatment (90 seedlings in total) were sampled to evaluate root dry mass and Armillaria infestation. The data were statistically evaluated by frequency analysis, analysis of variance and Kruskal-Wallis test. The overall seedling survival percentage was very low, probably due to extreme drought and high temperatures, with significantly lower results for the ABIES INOCUL + FERTILIZ and PICEA INOCUL + FERTILIZ groups. All tested growth characteristics (seedling height increment, root collar diameter increment, seedling shoot dry weight, root dry mass) were significantly higher in PICEA seedlings. Root collar diameter increment showed significant differences within each species and inconsistent results. Armillaria was detected only in the PICEA CONTROL group as rhizomorphs identified as A. ostoyae. The results suggest that the artificial mycorrhizal preparation can be an efficient method of preventing Armillaria infestation, especially in spruce seedlings.

Abstract:
This research aims to determine the influence of financial performance, capital structure and company size on company value. This research uses a quantitative approach based on a cause-and-effect hypothesis. There are 26 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020 and 2022. Using sampling criteria, 20 companies were selected as samples, resulting in 60 companies with data value for three years. The research results show that the financial performance variable partially has a positive and significant effect on company value as shown by (t count 5.820 > t table 2.003). On the other hand, the capital structure variable (t count 1.216 < t table 2.003) and the company size variable (t count -1.130 < t table 2.003) do not have a significant effect on company value. Meanwhile, simultaneously financial performance, capital structure and company size have a positive and significant effect on company value (F count 11.511 > F table 2.77). With a standard Beta coefficient of 0.658, the financial performance variable has a dominant influence on company value.

Abstract:
The development of the business world in the current era is increasing rapidly, both in the industrial and service sectors. In fact, the existence of the sharia industry in the last decade has been increasingly widespread in various parts of the world, and is also developing in countries with a Muslim minority population. The tourism industry is of course very closely related to the accommodation business, especially the sharia hotel business, especially sharia hotels, which is one of the business sectors that offers good profits, because now modern people who go out of town for work or just for vacation really need lodging or hotel services. In this research was conducted to influence the influence of the application of Islamic values, leadership style, and organizational culture on employee performance. This study uses multiple linear regression testing. The population used is Seven Dream Syari'ah Hotel and Resto employees. As for sampling with non-probability sampling method as many as 35 respondents. The results of the partial test (t test) show that the application of Islamic values, leadership style, and organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Seven Dream Syari'ah Hotel and Resto employees.
