Este trabajo busca las conexiones almohades entre al-Andalus y el Magreb. Para ello se ha seleccionado un nuevo tipo de candil, de tradición diferente a la andalusí, que se produjo en los talleres alfareros cordobeses durante la segunda mitad del siglo XII, y se ha comparado con los realizados en áreas alfareras del Magreb occidental, para detectar posibles influencias. En concreto, con producciones de Fez y Salé, donde se fabricó el mismo tipo de candil de cazoleta abierta y pedúnculo central. Así se ha podido establecer una nueva conexión entre ambas regiones.

This paper analyzes medieval onomastics in the Romanian historical province of Transylvania (11th–14th centuries), a multicultural area, corresponding to the ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity of the population. The different ethnic communities are ruled by a unique administrative authority, but the multicultural environment exercises a major influence on the personal names of each ethnic group by distinguishing the names according to several aspects: ethnic criteria, the manifestation of unilateral or reciprocal onomastic influences, the adaptation of borrowed names to the specificity

This paper introduces initial results from the study of medieval pottery (7th –14th centuries AD), deriving from recent archaeological surveys and excavations in the Upper Vjosa valley. After a significant drop in ceramic numbers during the 7th to first half of 9th centuries, there is an evident increase from the second half of the 9th and 10th centuries. This upturn is associated with the introduction of a new typology of pots, probably influenced by byzantine productions.
