This thesis deals with aspects of using the common, universal relational table editor as a simple information system, which would be fully independent on the underlying database system and partially independent on the underlying's database schema. One part of this thesis deals with potential of using such universal information system to create a framework to allow fast and easy development of small and medium information systems. The practical part of this thesis is the application, which implements the basics of simple relational table editor, which is fully independent on the underlying database provider and schema and servers as the demonstrative table editor.

Vid utveckling av tyngre fordon inför man allt fler avancerade funktione. Mycket av denna funktionalitet handlar om att maskiner automatiskt ska utföra uppgifter för att assistera föraren. Detta leder till att nya risker uppstår. Och till följd av detta har man börjat skapa nya funktionella säkerhetsstandarder. ISO 26262 är en ny funktionell säkerhetsstandard som finns för vanliga personbilar men som ännu inte trätt i kraft för lastbilar. I ISO-26262 standarden ska krav kunna mappas till andra krav samt till systemarkitektur. I nuläget finns det vissa verktyg på marknaden som stödjer användaren när den skriver kravspecifikationer. Men undersökningar av verktyg ledde till att vi kommit fram till att alla hade någon brist. Och ingen hade bra stöd för mappning mellan krav och systemarkitektur. I detta examensarbete har arbetet varit att testa implementera funktionalitet för ett verktyg som assisterar användaren på olika sätt när den skriver kravspecifikationer. Baserat på kontraktteori och konceptet om portar som hjälp för att koppla samman krav med systemarkitektur ska applikationen se till att det finns en formell koppling mellan dessa. För att testa och validera att portar går att använda för att testa intressant funktionalitet har också en applikation utvecklats där mycket funktionalitet implementerats. Resultatet har varit lyckat då vi baserat på kontraktteori lyckats implementera och validera att det är möjligt att använda portar för att skapa koppling mellan krav och systemarkitektur, samt mellan krav och krav. Validering av att det valda lagringsformatet JSON också förser implementeraren med nog starkt stöd för att kunna spara dessa krav så att data i filerna kan brytas ner och lagras i temporära databasen Neo4J och på så sätt skapa ett fungerande kretslopp.<br>When developing new heavy vehicles today demands for increasingly more advanced features are asked for. A lot of the new functionality is about machines performing tasks automatically to assist the driver when driving. This leads to new risks, and as a result a new functional safety standard has been created. ISO 26262 is a functional safety standard that today exists for ordinary cars, but has not yet became a standard for trucks. According to the ISO 26262-standard requirements can be mapped to other requirements as well as to the system architecture. At present there are several tools on the market that supports the user when writing specifications. However, our research of the tools has led us to conclude that all lacked something. For example neither of the tools had good support for mapping between requirements and system architecture. In this thesis work, functionality for a tool which is supposed to support the user in various ways when writing requirements specifications was to be examined. Based on contract theory and the concept of ports that links requirements together with system architecture, an application can ensure that there is a formal link between the two. To test the suggested functionality a prototype is being developed. The result has been a successful as we based on contract theory could validate that using ports to create links between different requirements as well as between requirements and system architecture works through the implementation of the tool. Validation that the selected storage format JSON also provides the implementer with enough support to save the requirements in a way so that the data files can be decomposed and stored in the Neo4J database.

Modelica is an object-oriented equation based language to model complex physical systems containing mechanical, electrical and other types of components. It provides libraries that enable to simulate these systems. Many commercial and free simulation environments are available. It is maintained by the non-profitable organization called the “Modelica Association” containing members from different parts of the world. Many industries use Modelica for model based development. OpenModelica is an open source object-oriented equation based language based on Modelica. DrModelica is a guide to learn Modelica, and it provides a detailed tutorial for Modelica that range from beginner to expert level. OMNotebook document provides an interactive way to learn DrModelica. It provides series of tutorials that help to learn to use Modelica. It provides dynamic way to simulate models. OMSketch is a graphical editor to OMNotebook document. Its main aim is to provide shapes to OMNotebook document. The editor provides different shapes that can be drawn dynamically and also have properties such as colors, pen styles and brush properties. The shapes can be dynamically resized, translated and rotated. These operations can be performed on single shape and also on a group of shapes. Edit operations such as cut, copy and paste are supported. Keyboard shortcuts are also available to perform edit operations. The drawn shapes can be saved into different file formats such as png, bmp etc. These can also be open to edit and make changes. The OMSketch editor saves the shapes in regular graphical file formats with some information. The shape's properties are also saved into a file as text. Thus every saved shape from OMSketch contains the shape, and its coordinates and other properties. This makes it possible to edit the image when it is open in the editor. The main purpose of OMSketch is to embed shapes into OMNotebook document and also edit back from OMNotebook document to OMSketch. OMSketch is a very interactive and advance graphical editor for OMNotebook document.

Detta arbete utvärderar huruvida Netbeans RCP är en lämplig plattform att bygga en kampanjredigerare för en spelmotor på. Arbetet är en del av ett större projekt där en spelmotor för Androidtelefoner skapas. Kampanjredigeraren ska kunna skapa och redigera filer i XML-format som spelmotorn använder. Den ska även kunna skapa nytt material till spelmotorn utifrån bilder. Allt detta ska fungera på flera operativsystem. Valet att använda en plattform istället för att implementera allt manuellt skedde för att påskynda utvecklingen och höja kvaliteten på programmet. Utöver Netbeans RCP gjordes en översiktsgranskning av andra plattformar och program för att se om dessa också hade kunnat vara lämpliga. Netbeans RCP visade sig vara lämpligt för att skapa kampanjredigeraren på då den tillhandahöll funktioner relevanta för kampanjredigeraren som gick att använda på flera operativsystem och programmets implementerade funktionalitet fungerade på alla testade operativsystem.<br>This paper examines if Netbeans RCP is a suitable platform for creating a campaign editor for a game engine on. The work is part of a larger project where a game engine for Android phones is being developed. The campaign editor must be able to modify and create files in an XML-format that the engine will then use. It must also be able to create new material for the engine from images. All of this functionality must be usable on multiple operating systems. The decision to use a platform rather than implement everything manually was made to speed up the development and increase the quality of the campaign editor. Other platforms and programs were also briefly examined to see if these could have been suitable as well. Netbeans RCP was determined to be a suitable platform for creating a campaign editor because it provides functions relevant to the campaign editor that are usable on multiple operating systems, and the functionality implemented in the program was usable on every tested operating system.

There has recently been an emergence of new devices in which users can access the web. These devices have significantly smaller screen sizes than the more common desktop. This results in that the approach to designing web content has to be changed. The approach to design web content that adapts its visual layout to different screen sizes, is referred to as Responsive Web Design. Ida Infront is a company that develops systems and solutions for informationintensive businesses. They are currently examining how to design a layout editor that can be used to define responsive design for web-forms. The purpose of this project is to design and implement a prototype of such a layout editor, which will then be evaluated by Ida Infront. The project is divided into two phases, starting out with the research process, followed by the prototype design process. In the research process, the following is examined: structure of the XML file describing web-forms, Responsive Web Design techniques and technologies appropriate for the layout editor. In the prototype design process, a layout editor prototype allowing responsive design for web-form components, is designed and implemented. The responsive design configuration is added to the web-form XML file. We found that Bootstrap is a suitable technology to define responsive design of web-forms, since placement of web-form components can be translated into a Bootstrap grid system. The resulting layout editor prototype allows responsive configuration in Bootstrap. This is done by utilising the grid system as the underlying structure for placement of web-form components. The prototype also allows configuration for each of the four Bootstrap device classifications, named xs, sm, md and lg. Position and size of webform components are stored for each Bootstrap device classification. The resulting responsive configuration is added into the existing XML file for the web-form.<br>Den senaste tiden så har det uppkommit nya enheter som man kan komma åt webben med. Dessa enheter har betydligt mindre skärmar än de mer vanliga stationära enheterna. Det har resulterat i att sättet man designar webbinnehåll måste ändras. Metoden att designa webbinnehåll så det anpassar sin grafiska utformning efter olika skärmstorlekar kallas för responsiv webb design. Ida Infront är ett företag som utvecklar system och lösningar för informationsintensiva verksamheter. De undersöker just nu hur man designar en layout editor som kan användas för att definiera responsiv design för webb-formulär. Syftet med detta projekt är att designa och implementera en prototyp av en sådan layout editor, som sedan kommer utvärderas av Ida Infront. Examensarbetet är uppdelat i två faser, det inleds med forskningsfasen och efterföljs av prototypfasen. I forskningsfasen undersöks följande: strukturen i XML filen som beskriver webb-formulär, olika tekniker för responsiv webb design och lämpliga teknologier att använda i en layout editor. I prototypfasen, designas och implementeras en prototyp som gör det möjligt att definera responsiv konfiguration för webb-formulär. Konfiguration för responsiv design läggs till i den befintliga XML filen. Vi kom fram till att Bootstrap är en lämplig teknologi för att definera responsiv design för webb-formulär. Eftersom placeringen av komponenter i webb-formulär kan översättas till Bootstraps rutnät. Den resulterande layout editorn gör det möjligt att definera responsiv design i Bootstrap. Detta genom att använda Bootstraps rutnät som underliggande struktur för placering av webb-formulärets komponenter. Prototypen gör det också möjligt att konfiguera för var och en av de fyra Bootstrap enhets klasserna, namngivna som xs, sm, md och lg. Position och storlek för webb-formulärets komponenter lagras för varje Bootstrap enhets klass. Den resulterande responsiva konfigurationen läggs till i den befintliga XML filen för webb-formuläret.

<p>Denna uppsats handlar om en undersökning jag gjorde där 39 personer gickigenom en virtuell miljö jag byggt i Unreal Editor 3.Den virtuella miljön bestod av 5 korsningar där spelaren gjorde ett val omvilket håll han skulle gå.Baserat på statistik och intervjusvar från de 39 personerna har jag sedandragit en slutsats i form av en rangordning av beteenden som styr enspelare genom en nivå i ett dataspel.</p><br><p>This paper concerns a study I did in which 39 people went through a virtual environment I built in Unreal Editor 3.The virtual environment consisted of five intersections where the playermade a choice about which direction he should go. Based on statistics and interview responses from the 39 people I have since come to a conclusion in the form of a hierarchy of behaviours that control a player through a level in a computer game.</p>

An interactive tool is developed for the purpose of rapid exploration ofdiverse traffic scenario. The focus is on rapidity of design and evaluation rather thenon physical realism. Core aspects are the ability to define the essential elements fora traffic scenario such as a road network and vehicles. Cubic Bezier curves are usedto design the roads and vehicle trajectory. A prediction algorithm is used to visualizevehicle future poses and collisions and thus provide means for evaluation of saidscenario. Such a program was created using C++ with the help of Qt libraries.

A presente dissertação de mestrado discorre sobre uma pesquisa referente à inserção de recursos tecnológicos colaborativos em processos de ensino e de aprendizagem para favorecer o desenvolvimento da Presença Social (PS). O objetivo principal é mapear alguns indicadores de PS em Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC), especificamente, nas funcionalidades de interação e colaboração do Editor de Texto Coletivo (ETC). Nesse sentido, verificaram-se as interações dos sujeitos em espaços do ETC como nos fóruns, no editor de texto online e por meio de trocas de mensagens virtuais. Tal proposta está ancorada na concepção de que a tecnologia pode oferecer variadas possibilidades à educação. Inicialmente, busca-se compilar os conceitos da PS e sua relevância na educação online. Em seguida, apresenta-se um embasamento para a inserção de recursos tecnológicos como as TIC em processos educacionais. Posteriormente, faz-se uma reflexão sobre Formação de Professores e se abordam as características do uso de TIC em práticas pedagógicas. Além disso, são aprofundadas questões acerca da PS e sugerem-se algumas TIC com potenciais de inserção na educação. Logo após, é apresentado o ETC, com sua contextualização histórica e detalhes acerca das suas ferramentas e funcionalidades. Por fim, vislumbra-se identificar os elementos constituintes da metodologia planejada para a realização deste estudo. Para tal, escolheu-se como metodologia desenvolver uma pesquisa qualitativa tendo como método estudo de caso exploratório, sendo que a primeira etapa do seu desenvolvimento foi a construção do Objeto de Aprendizagem PSAVA. A análise dos dados foi realizada através de categorias, partindo das produções dos sujeitos que participaram de um curso de extensão, cujo objetivo foi observar os indícios de PS nas interações que os participantes estabeleceram por meio dos recursos de uso colaborativos digitais do ETC. Entre essas, destacam-se o fórum e as trocas de mensagens no editor de texto do ETC. Assim, através de um mapeamento de PS, verifica-se quais são alguns indicadores de Presença Social dos sujeitos que interagem nas funcionalidades do Editor em questão. Nesse sentido, constata-se a relevância de se considerar tais elementos para uma ação docente em meio virtual mais eficaz.<br>This master’s thesis considers research on the insertion of collaborative technological resources in teaching and learning processes to favour the development of Social Presence (SP). The principal objective is to map out indicators of SP in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), specifically in the functionalities of interaction and collaboration associated with the Collective Text Editor (CTE). To this end, interactions of individuals were verified in CTE spaces such as in forums, in the online text editor and through the exchange of virtual messages. Such a proposal is anchored in the idea that technology can offer a range of opportunities for education. To begin with, SP concepts and their relevance to online education are compiled. Next, a foundation is presented for the insertion of technological resources, such as ICT, in educational processes. Finally, a reflection is made on Teacher Training while the characteristics of the use of ICT in pedagogical practices are also dealt with. In addition to this, questions surrounding SP are deepened and ICT with the potential for insertion in education is highlighted. Following this, the CTE is presented within its historical context and with details of its tools and functionalities. Finally, the thesis seeks to identify the constituent elements of the methodology planned for this study. In pursuit of this, a qualitative study with an explorative case study method was selected as methodology – the first stage being the construction of the Learning Object PSAVA. Data analysis was carried out by category, starting with the work of individuals participating in an extension course aimed at observing the indicators of SP in interactions established through the digital collaborative use resources of the CTE. The forum and the exchange of messages in the text editor of the CTE are at the forefront amongst these resources. In this context, through SP mapping, it is possible to verify indicators of Social Presence in individuals who interact using the functionalities of the Editor in question. One is thus able to note the relevance of considering such elements in order to produce more efficient teaching in the virtual environment.

<p>Dagens elektroniska patientjournalsystem har begränsade möjligheter att på likartat sätt strukturera och lagra patientinformation. Det är en anledning till att det är problem med att utbyta patientjournaldata mellan olika system. Detta försvårar bland annat forskning och tillgänglighet till patientinformation. Brist på tillgänglighet minskar i sin tur möjligheten att ge en god vård oberoende av var patienten befinner sig.</p><p>Inom projektet openEHR har en idé med så kallade arketyper tagits fram som ett enhetligt sätt att strukturera utbytbar patientjournaldata för att möta framtida krav på patientjournaler och patientjournalsystem. Arketyper är formella modeller av kliniska informationsentiteter, exempelvis blodtryck. De byggs upp av restriktioner, struktur och termer med eventuella bindningar till medicinska terminologisystem. Dessutom kopplas medicinsk kunskap i arketyperna fri från journalsystemen.</p><p>Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att utveckla ett verktyg, en så kallad arketypeditor, som kan användas för att skapa och redigera arketyper. Utöver detta skulle möjligheterna undersökas att i verktyget implementera en koppling till medicinska terminologisystem. Utvecklingen har skett i en iterativ process med fokus på användbarhet och stabilitet. Det har även ingått att ta reda på syftet med en arketypeditor.</p><p>Resultatet är ett plattformsoberoende och stabilt verktyg som är utvecklat enligt användbarhetsprinciper med koppling till terminologisystemet Unified Medical Language System (UMLS). En arketypeditors syfte i ett bredare perspektiv är att lösa brister i dagens medicinska informationssystem som tas upp i denna rapport. Trots att openEHR-projektet är nytt finns det många tekniskt gångbara idéer, men det finns även problem som beror på för lite praktisk testning och tillämpning.</p><br><p>Present-day electronic health record systems have limited possibilities to structure and store patient information in a similarly manner. This causes problems with exchanging patient record data between different systems and it gives rise to problems with, among other things, research and patient information availability. Lack of availability will in turn decrease the possibility of giving good care irrespective of where the patient is located.</p><p>Within the openEHR project an idea with so called archetypes has been introduced as a uniform way to structure exchangeable patient record data in order to meet future requirements on electronic health records and systems. Archetypes are formal models of clinical information entities, for example blood pressure. They are constructed from constraints, structure and terms which may have bindings to medical terminology systems. Furthermore, medical knowledge in the archetypes is separated from the patient record systems.</p><p>The purpose of the thesis has been to develop a tool, a so called archetype editor, that can be used to create and edit archetypes. In addition, the possibilities of implementing a connection to medical terminology systems should be explored. The development has followed an iterative process with focus on stability and usability. Another task has also been to find out the purpose with an archetype editor.</p><p>The result is a platform-independent and stable tool, developed according to usability principles with a connection to the terminology system Unified Medical Language System (UMLS). An archetype editor’s purpose in a wider perspective is to solve shortcomings in medical information systems of today, which are brought up in this thesis. Although the openEHR project is new, there are many technically applicable ideas but also problems because of insufficient practical testing and application.</p>

Para expressar uma semântica formal e viabilizar esta compreensão automatizada, os conteúdos devem estar descritos com a linguagem RDF (Resource Description Framework), tendo seus significados definidos e interligados através de relações ontológicas. Neste trabalho é desenvolvida uma ferramenta que, através de uma interface Web, permite o registro de informações sobre a estrutura de um banco de dados relacional e, com isto, gera um mapa de migração que facilita a geração automática de anotações semânticas sobre os conteúdos deste banco de dados. Adicionalmente, o sistema constrói um vocabulário RDF, que formaliza e compartilha a semântica dos termos utilizados nas anotações que serão geradas através do mapa. Com esta aplicação, diferentes sites dinâmicos se tornam aptos a publicar informações que possam ser igualmente compreendidas e relacionadas por agentes inteligentes.

Anno dopo anno, specialmente per quanto riguarda la comunità del Semantic Web, molti ricercatori per far fronte ai problemi che il formato PDF porta con se (dalla di coltà ad essere interpretato dai calcolatori all’inaccessibilità per utenti con disabilità visive), hanno iniziato a parlare di ”pubblicazione accademica in HTML”. Ad oggi alcune conferenze e journal hanno iniziato ad accettare articoli scienti ci e paper in questo formato: EKAW, PeerJ e Springer. Uno dei problemi principali di HTML è la sua grande quantità di elementi, che può portare ad ambiguità da parte di due o più elementi visualizzati nello stesso modo, ma semanticamente diversi. RASH è un sotto- insieme di elementi HTML, 32 per la precisione, che si occupano di de nire una sintassi chiara e semplice per documenti scienti ci in HTML, al ne di, tra le altre cose, eliminare ambiguità tra gli elementi.
Gli autori e i ricercatori che adottano RASH come formato, sanno che hanno a loro disposizione il framework RASH, che consente di visualizzare, validare e convertire il documento. RASH e il suo framework sono basati sulla più completa libertà da parte degli utenti ad utilizzare i tool che più preferiscono, anche autori che scelgono di creare documenti con altri formati o editor, per esempio Microsoft Word e OpenO ce, sono completamente supportati e coperti dalla conversione in RASH.
Il normale sviluppo di un articolo RASH, non convertito da altri formati, ad ora avviene tramite text o markup editor, che necessitano di alcune, seppur minime, conoscenze di HTML. Una parte che il framework non è riuscita ancora a coprire è la sempli cazione della redazione di un articolo RASH. Questa tesi parla di RAJE che è l’editor WYSIWYG che produce documenti RASH ben formattati e validati, nascondendo la di coltà e le tecnicità agli utenti. Il documento in output è pronto per essere convertiti in formato TeX e inviati a conferenze, giornali scienti ci o workshop.

Nei sistemi di editing collaborativo Real-Time più utenti si trovano ad apportare modifiche ad uno stesso documento contemporaneamente. Queste modifiche, a volte, possono riguardare la stessa porzione di testo ed entrare in conflitto tra di loro. La gestione di questi conflitti tra operazioni concorrenti rappresenta un problema di cruciale importanza in quanto, se affrontato inadeguatamente, può portare a stati incoerenti del modello di dati condiviso tra gli utenti connessi al sistema.
Operational Transformation è una tecnologia che permette la risoluzione di conflitti in ambienti di collaborazione real-time per l’editing di documenti testuali, proponendo una serie di metodologie e proprietà che permettono di risolvere queste problematiche in maniera efficiente senza appesantire troppo il sistema.
Un ulteriore grado di complessità si aggiunge quando si parla di editor strutturati. In questi sistemi, infatti, le operazioni non riguardano solo il contenuto testuale, ma anche elementi di layout, dimensioni dei caratteri e metadati. Più modifiche possono essere apportate contemporaneamente dallo stesso sistema, assumendo un significato semanticamente più complesso di una semplice operazione di cancellazione o di inserimento di testo.
Per questo motivo, dopo l'approfondimento degli aspetti teorici di OT, mi sono cimentato nella realizzazione di un algoritmo di Operational Transformation in un editor strutturato.

This study was designed to identify correlates of success in Supported Employment(SE) programs for persons with psychiatric disabilities. Indiana policy-makers are seriously considering a managed care, or "capitated," system of payment to make SE provider programs more efficient economically. However, many agencies are concerned about providing services to more severely impaired individuals because of the potentially higher costs of serving these individuals. Two studies are included in this project. The goals of the first study were to identify SE consumer (clinical) characteristics that predict (1) successful outcomes, defined as whether the consumer achieves gainful work, and (2) program costs, defined as the amounts of SE service hours utilized by consumers who obtain work. In two large samples of SE consumers with serious mental illness, no clinical characteristics (e.g., diagnosis, rated functioning, hospitalization history) were associated with vocational outcome or service costs. The goal of the second study was to describe the types and amounts of services utilized by SE consumers who obtain work. Specific service categories associated with obtaining work were travel, training, and advocacy that was unrelated to the consumer's job. The implications of these findings are discussed in the framework of the debate over clinical versus empirical prediction. The need for a theoretical model of SE services that allows the use of predictive clinical and consumer driven services is also discussed.<br>Department of Journalism

"Los espanoles en Chile: A Distributed Multimedia Edition" joins computer technology and the comedia to produce a text that engages the user beyond the limits of traditional printed material. First, the project establishes a modern, critical edition of the 1665 princeps edition collated with the 1761 and 1841 editions. The critical text is then written in hypertext markup language (HTML) and combined with digitized images scanned from the early publication. Next, the critical edition provides a connection to a collection of resources accessible via hyperlinks. Because the critical bibliography, glossary and explanatory notes are also hyperlinked, they do not interrupt the reader's flow of the interest. Third, the inclusion of graphic materials such as representations of stage designs, costumes, blocking, machinery, historical materials and related artistic works, immerse the user in contextual information that contributes to an understanding of the play and its relation to Spanish and world literature. Finally, the unique opportunities of digital multimedia, including sound, animation and video, facilitate the perception of the relationship between text and performance. The contribution of each of these elements to Francisco Gonzalez de Bustos's Los espanoles en Chile at once enlivens the seventeenth-century text and enriches the reader's experience with Spanish Golden Age theater.

Cette recherche pose une question simple : Qui fait quoi dans le journal ? Nous y répondons partiellement en nous focalisant sur un domaine spécifique du continuum de fabrication de l’information : le prépresse. Il s’agit du moment où l’information fournie par les journalistes rédacteurs est matérialisée, dessinée par les journalistes secrétaires de rédaction (SR) dans les pages du quotidien. Cet espace nous permet de mettre en avant un collectif singulier dans le journal. Car jusqu’à la fin des années 1990 et la numérisation totale de la chaine de fabrication des quotidiens, les SR ne sont pas seuls responsables du prépresse, ils coopèrent quotidiennement avec des ouvriers : les typographes. Ainsi, SR et typographes « font » le journal ensemble. Or, nous considérons que ces gens sont à ce qu’ils font de manière distincte, et par conséquent nous nous attachons à décrire qui fait quoi comment. C’est-à-dire que nous observons ce qui est à faire – le journal – en étant attentif à la manière dont journalistes et ouvriers se lient ou non pour y parvenir. Cette étude de qui fait quoi comment dans le journal se décline en trois temps. Nous tentons tout d’abord de comprendre De quoi est fait le monde des typographes (1) : Quels sont leurs appuis pour composer leur goût pour être à ce qu’ils font ? Dans quoi peuvent-ils puiser pour être typographes comme ils l’entendent ? Nous nous demandons ensuite, de la même manière, De quoi est fait le monde des SR (2) ? Quel est l’équipement des SR pour composer leur monde ? Dans quels scripts peuvent-ils puiser pour être SR au mieux des possibles ? Ce parallèle entre ces journalistes particuliers et ces ouvriers pas comme les autres nous amène à élaborer le troisième volet de ce travail : SR et typographes composent-ils un monde commun (3) ? Il s’agit de déterminer si les frottements continus de ces deux manières d’être au monde partagent certains attachements. Nous présentons quelques exemples qui suggèrent qu’un monde commun a pu exister à certaines époques et de manière non linéaire, entre SR et typographes. À partir de notre terrain, nous débusquons des parcelles de ce monde commun grâce à un médiateur spécifique : la maquette du journal.Finalement, en décrivant qui fait quoi comment dans le journal via ce qui se passe à l’interface de sa matérialité, nous découvrons un objet collectif travaillé par un grand nombre de gens et de choses. Chaque jour, le journal est suffisamment flexible pour que s’y expriment différentes présences au monde, et suffisamment solide pour (con)tenir l’expression de son énonciation collective<br>To the simple question Who does what in a newspaper? this study – partially – answers by focusing on a particular aspect of the continuum of information production: the prepress – where the information provided by journalists is laid out and designed by sub-editors. This approach enables us to shed light on a unique collective of the newspaper. Indeed, until the end of the 90’s and the generalization of digitalization in the production lines of daily newspapers, sub-editors share their responsibilities and collaborate on a daily basis with a particular type of blue-collar workers: the typographers. In our opinion, sub-editors and typographers make the newspaper together, and in their own respective ways. How? What is there to do to make a newspaper, and how do – or don’t – journalists and blue-collars bind themselves to achieve their common goal?Our analysis of Who does what and how in a newspaper is divided into three parts. In a first part we describe The world of typographers (1). What supports do they lean on to work with their taste? What resources do they draw on to display their skills? In a similar way, in a second part we analyze The world of sub-editors (2). What is it made out of? What scripts do sub-editors turn to to perform at their best? A third part is dedicated to establishing parallels between these two distinctive worlds, wondering Do sub-editors and typographers form a common world (3)? Do these two ever-connected worlds share common bonds? The examples we present suggest that common worlds have existed at certain times and in non-linear ways. Desta maneira, o software DicomEditor tem a liberdade de optar pelo uso de um software gratuito, que acompanha o protocolo DICOM que é o CTN ou o uso do banco de dados Oracle. Este trabalho acrescenta a conexão do banco de dados Oracle ao software DicomEditor, implementado em Smalltalk. Este software tem a funcionalidade de ser um cliente de rede DICOM. DICOM é um protocolo de armazenamento e recuperação de imagens médicas utilizadas em larga escala por hospitais e grandes clinicas médicas. Através deste trabalho apresentamos os procedimentos de operação das classes de conexão do DicomEditor ao banco de dados Oracle, juntamente com o modelo relacional criado no banco de dados para armazenar as informações.

Analizuojamos šios sistemos garso redagavimo galimybės, pateikiama daug iliustracijų, įvairių garso redagavimo ir analizės pavyzdžių. Aprašomi su Audacity atlikti įvairūs garso redagavimo eksperimentai. Taip pat aprašomas atliktas triukšmo įtakos žodžių atpažinimo tikslumui tyrimas. Pateikiamos darbo išvados, literatūros ir interneto šaltinių sąrašas. Darbo apimtis – 82 psl. be priedų.<br>The basic task of the final master paper was to describe and to explore the modern open source sound processing software, to investigate its advantages and disadvantages. Basic audio processing tasks are reviewed in the paper. After the short description of the several popular audio processing programs, one of them – audio editor Audacity – is investigated thorougly. The main audio editing facilities of this program are described with a lot of illustrations, many examples of audio editting and analysis are presented in the paper. Various experiments of sound processing with Audacity were performed and are described here. The analysis of noise influence to word recognition accuracy was done. Conclusions, references to literature and other sources on internet are also presented The paper consists of 82 pages without enclosures.

La prima si occupa di fornire un sistema collaborativo pensato per la produzione di documenti, la seconda si occupa di gestire le possibili versioni/varianti che un documento può assumere. Una possibile implementazione di tale modello abbatterebbe tempi e costi necessari alla stesura di documenti strutturati.

The document consists of three main segments: analytic, designing and user documentation. Analytic part includes a project development plan, an overview of existing accident reconstruction software, main requirements for drawing traffic accident schemes. Designing part includes functional, non functional requirements, use case model, main and elaborate architecture of the project. User documentation describes the usage of the created software.

Foi utilizado, como grupo experimental, uma turma de alunos da 3ª série do 2º grau, que criou cooperativamente textos referentes a assuntos relacionados a sua área de formação. A constituição dos grupos cooperativos foi estudada e aplicada com base nos estudos de Mailhiot, um seguidor de Kurt Lewin, que defende a idéia de que na formação dos grupos está o segredo para o sucesso do trabalho. As relações surgidas deste processo, os aspectos observados na formação dos grupos - como tamanho, composição, motivação e as relações derivadas desta interação: a autonomia, a definição de papéis, a cooperação, a consciência do processo em si; foram analisadas e discutidas sob o ponto de vista de três teorias: a epistemologia genética de Piaget, postulando que o conhecimento é construído através de experiências; o sócio-interacionismo de Vygotsky, tendo como premissa que o desenvolvimento do ser humano se dá sobretudo pela interação social e a sócio-biologia de Maturana & Varela, que difunde a idéia de autopoiese, onde o indivíduo influencia e sofre influência do meio, num constante processo de mutação. Comprovou-se que o editor cooperativo de texto favorece o surgimento e desenvolvimento de inúmeras situações que favorecem a interação, como por exemplo: a necessidade de várias idéias na tela, para serem discutidas; o processo de aceitação, troca e aprimoramento de opiniões; a união do grupo em prol de um objetivo comum: o texto final. Percebe-se que estruturas pré-determinadas, como as lideranças, foram dissolvidas e refeitas, gerando um processo de desacomodação/acomodação, vê-se que a neutralidade do ambiente igualou os componentes, e dentro de cada ritmo próprio, houve a quota de participação. O ambiente de trabalho cooperativo computadorizado pode ser uma ferramenta para a pedagogia da cooperação e acredita-se ser, esta pedagogia, um caminho real para a construção do real.

Am Beispiel der altgermanistischen Edition wird dargelegt, dass das Buch als Publikationsort herausgefordert ist: Einerseits haben die Diskussionen zur ''New Philology'' gezeigt, dass die Möglichkeiten des Printmediums erschöpft sind. Andererseits hat sich durch die ''Neuen Medien'' der Erwartungshorizont der Leser-Benutzer gravierend verschoben. Obwohl die elektronische Datenverarbeitung im Editionsprozess seit Beginn des digitalen Zeitalters eine bedeutende Rolle spielt, fällt es dem Fach schwer, diesem Horizont und den daraus resultierenden Ansprüchen gerecht zu werden. Das liegt daran, dass – der Theorie nach – bei Medienumbrüchen das alte Medium dem neuen den Aktionsradius vorgibt, sodass Bremseffekte stets die Entwicklung beeinflussen. In der Praxis bedeutet dies, dass die digitalen Medien nur als Präsentationsvehikel ausgebeutet werden. Zwar werden Handschriften, Buchbestände und Texte erschlossen und im Internet zugänglich gemacht, sodass klassische Editionen (Faksimile, diplomatischer Abdruck, Fassungsedition oder historisch-kritische Ausgabe) nicht mehr nur im gedruckten Buch abgebildet werden. Jedoch macht schon die Rezeption an unterschiedlichen Endgeräten (E-Book-Reader, PC-Bildschirmen, Smartphones, Braille Displays etc.) Grenzen sichtbar. Noch deutlicher wird dies unterhalb der sich wechselseitig treibenden Wirkkräfte Standardisierung, Interoperabilität, Ausdifferenzierung, Kollaboration, Webapplikationen, Semantik, Zugänglichkeit, Barrierefreiheit und Legalität. Sie stellen für die komplexe Textedition einen völlig neuen Anforderungskatalog dar, der die statische Präsentation der Ergebnisse hinter sich lässt. Dieses traditionelle Ziel allen Edierens rückt gegenüber dem Editionsprozess und dem genuinen Potential der digitalen Medien, der Trennung der Präsentation vom Speicher, in den Hintergrund. Entscheidend wird sein, dass Editionsdaten für das fortgesetzte Bearbeiten offen und dabei auf verschiedensten Endgeräten flexibel präsentierbar bleiben.<br>Looking at recent publications of medieval German texts reveals two challenges to the dominance of the printed book as the principal place for publishing: On the one hand, the ''New Philology'' has shown that the possibilities of print are exhausted. On the other hand, the expectations of the 21st century reader/user have radically changed. Despite the fact that from the beginning, digital data processing has played a major role in the editing process, it is very hard to live up to these expectations. This is because - in theory - the old medium dictates limitations to the new one, slowing down the process of expansion and change. In practice this means that so far digital media have been used only as a vehicle for presentation. With manuscripts, book collections and texts being extensively captured and made available on the Internet, classical editions (facsimiles, diplomatic editions, edited versions and historical-critical editions) are increasingly being published outside the printed book. Nevertheless, the reception of this digital content on different devices (e-book readers, computer screens, smartphones, braille displays etc.) has its limitations. This becomes even more obvious when one considers the mutually active forces of standardization, interoperability, differentiation, collaboration, web applications, semantics, availability, accessibility and legality. These establish a whole new list of requirements that goes beyond the static presentation of the results of the editing process. While the traditional goal of all editing processes is losing its importance, it nevertheless opens up the genuine potential of digital media: the separation of presentation from memory. In the future, publishing data could be kept open for further processing and would remain flexible for presentation on all kinds of devices.

Historical text constitutes a rich source of information for historians and other researchers in humanities. Many texts are however not available in an electronic format, and even if they are, there is a lack of NLP tools designed to handle historical text. In my thesis, I aim to provide a generic workflow for automatic linguistic analysis and information extraction from historical text, with spelling normalisation as a core component in the pipeline. In the spelling normalisation step, the historical input text is automatically normalised to a more modern spelling, enabling the use of existing taggers and parsers trained on modern language data in the succeeding linguistic analysis step. In the final information extraction step, certain linguistic structures are identified based on the annotation labels given by the NLP tools, and ranked in accordance with the specific information need expressed by the user. An important consideration in my implementation is that the pipeline should be applicable to different languages, time periods, genres, and information needs by simply substituting the language resources used in each module. Furthermore, the reuse of existing NLP tools developed for the modern language is crucial, considering the lack of linguistically annotated historical data combined with the high variability in historical text, making it hard to train NLP tools specifically aimed at analysing historical text. In my evaluation, I show that spelling normalisation can be a very useful technique for easy access to historical information content, even in cases where there is little (or no) annotated historical training data available. For the specific information extraction task of automatically identifying verb phrases describing work in Early Modern Swedish text, 91 out of the 100 top-ranked instances are true positives in the best setting.

A tese que se apresenta tem por objetivo compreender o vínculo entre o extraordinário volume de vendas de obras de cunho erudito (literatura clássica, filosofia e teatro) em bancas de jornais e a estrutura editorial, publicitária e distributiva de uma grande empresa de comunicação. Para estudar a questão, estabelecemos: 1) as condições histórico-sociais que permitiram o crescimento de uma pequena editora, fundada por estrangeiros em São Paulo, capital, no final dos anos 1940; 2) as características materiais e textuais das publicações e sua intrínseca relação como condicionante do perfil de público a que eram destinadas; 3) o papel da máquina publicitária da Editora Abril e a competente capacidade de concepção e difusão de discursos promocionais, com eficaz teor persuasivo a segmentos específicos de consumidores; 4) as estratégias de distribuição editorial através das bancas de jornais, um canal distinto do legitimado espaço das livrarias. Conclui-se que, tendo em perspectiva um público pouco familiarizado com esse tipo de produto cultural; um país com precária estrutura produtiva para impressão de livros; um setor editorial com baixa tiragem média; e o reduzido hábito de leitura entre a população, os aspectos estabelecidos se coadunaram de maneira a possibilitar que o fenômeno alta tiragem e venda de livros ditos de \"alta cultura\" se efetivasse.<br>The aim of this thesis is to understand the link between the extraordinary volume of sales of scholarly works (classical literature, philosophy and theater) in newsstands and the editorial, advertising and distributive structure of a large communication company. To study the question, we established: 1) the social-historical conditions that allowed the growth of a small publishing house, founded by foreigners in the city of São Paulo, in the late 1940s; 2) the material and textual characteristics of the publications and their intrinsic relation as conditioning of the public profile to which they were destined; 3) the role of Editora Abril advertising machine and the ability to design and disseminate promotional speeches with effective persuasive content for specific segments of consumers; 4) the strategies of editorial distribution through newsstands, a distinct channel from the legitimate space of bookstores. It is concluded that, having in perspective an unfamiliar audience with this type of cultural product; a country with a poor production structure for book printing; an editorial sector with low average circulation; and the reduced habit of reading among the population, the established aspects were in line with each other so as to enable the high phenomenon of \"high culture\" books to be produced and sold.
